I think it's good that blockchain is moving into this, but there is still a lot more than needs to be done, it's still in it's infancy.

Thanks for sharing the crypto blogging platform, I have signed up and started earning through it for free. I would highly recommend it to everyone. You can sign up for free through the article in this thread.

Hello all,

I found this very interesting article about the top marketplaces based around Cryptocurrency. What do you think about the current cryptocurrency marketplaces such as OpenSea? Are there anymore that the article missed out on? You can read the article by clicking on the link below.

https://www.publish0x.com/crypto-101/top-3-cryptocurrency-marketplaces-xdxrwr?a=GELe3POa69

On top of that, the blogging platform is a great way to earn crypto for free. You can earn crypto for voting on articles and also for creating content. You can earn DAI and BAT currently but it is a better way than to just do bounties where you have no idea when the token will become live on an exchange. You can sign up through the article. Hope to see you there!

Still needs more, but i'm glad to see that there are some in the space trying to grow. I have heard of Opensea before, but not the others.

Thanks for sharing the blogging platform, I've signed up and i'm very impressed. I will be using it more and I can confirm that it works. You can earn BAT from it very easily for free.

actually I'm interested in things like this. I was once interested in participating in this kind of thing and I also thought about leaving my bounty activities, but after following it there were a number of problems which, in my opinion, were fraudulent. they did provide a token and immediately entered the pallet that they had prepared, but when I would send it to my personal wallet they asked to deposit a sum of money for withdrawal fees. do I have to make a deposit because the amount of deposit requested is actually more expensive than the gift they give. since that time I no longer want to join such a thing. because I think it's better to wait for a token to live in the market rather than having to spend money which is detrimental to me. bounty gets a free token without a deposit.

I'm just hearing about OpenSea for the first time but I'm used to other well known crypto exchanges like binance and others and I prefer these exchanges instead of trying to find out new ones to try out, I don't think it's necessary since the service rendered by binance is fine by me
Most traders who are already compatible with exchanges find it hard to believe with other exchanges. but some traders like new exchanges because of the many events and bonuses that can be obtained. but like you, I'm also happy with binance and comfortable trading there.
be careful when choosing a new exchange. because not a few are scams. like there was an exchange project from vietnam which became a hot conversation. starting from the beginning of the year, almost all of its customers cannot withdraw their assets. and continues to this day. therefore I prefer an exchange that has good credibility, so it will be safer for our transactions

I agree with you. I'd rather go for already existing and well established cryptocurrency exchanges than opt in for a new one that i ain't sure of its credibility. When there are lots of credible exchanges with high volume and liquidity, why go for an infant one. Talking about Vietnamese projects, i think they are bunch of scams as all the Vietnam projects I've come across are always existing scam with investors money, i stand to be corrected though.

There needs to be more marketplaces like this to allow more crypto to be used as a currency rather than a store of value.

Great article, thanks for sharing. I think there is a lot more work needed in this area.

Also double bonus for showing me the crypto blogging platform, I've signed up and started earning BAT through it, if you combine it with the BRAVE platform you can get a decent amount of BAT over a month I believe. If anyone is interested in joining me on this platform, you can by signing up through the article in this thread.

Origin protocol will get big very soon, now it's trading at 0.5$ which is a big growth since launch, this project is one of the best this year so far, this is not an investment advice though just a thought, I don't know about others but I'm certain about Origin protocol and the team behind the project

I don’t think those are the top cryptocurrency peer to peer marketplace. I heard now about open sea platform, NFT is their native currency and we have to use these for buy any products? Open Bazar is well known p2p platform and most popular i used it to sell some art and i have been bought a lot music.

There are several points. Basically, I am pretty impressed with the idea in general. Team is building the biggest decentralized grid of self-managing Internet capacity in the world that is being built collectively by an inclusive ecosystem and owned by everyone But of course, much better option is to Google guys and check out their website for more info on the solution, I believe you will be also impressed with the tech side

I wouldn't say so. There are many things I pay attention to as well. And as for solutions I follow - there are only 2 or 3. If you are interested, my latest discovery is ThreeFold Network platform. What I am impressed with - entirely new approach on IT industry. Heard of the solution already? A popular one these days

Good afternoon everyone. From my point of view, focus is going to change a bit. What do I mean? Investors are now a bit tired of similar and simple tokens. So as I understand, the switch will happen towards more technological and valuable solutions

That's quite a informative article. Also it is possible for us to make profits from a number of platforms and not only bounties. Even some giveaways can have higher amounts and those amounts too can be compared higher than the bounty rewards. You have tried to mention such small platforms where we could earn some coins and that is really nice for newbies to start with. Newbies always look to earn few coins without actually investing any capital and this article might really make their interest boost more by gaining some free coins.

Crypto marketplaces has always been something which is highly needed by the community. A number of people would love to spend their coins to purchase some commodities onto the marketplace.

It is actually great idea that supports the crypto market overall but i think with more and more adoption and acceptance soon crypto will be accepted by all stores and businesses so the need for such specific marketplaces will not remain much but i do agree their importance as they have given the trust and usage to crypto in difficult and slow times.
Even in a situation where cryptos are started to be accepted locally for national payments the need for crypto marketplace would remain constant. Online shopping has been getting a basic need for the generation and we could see almost each commodity available online.

Crypto marketplace would also use the same characteristics to sell major commodities but in exchange with few coins supported by the marketplace. This would not only increase the use of the cryptocurrencies but also it would generate a awareness among people globally and they too would start accepting these marketplaces to make their daily shopping. There would be time where we could see a number of major marketplaces starting to accept crypto payments.

While it is true that you can earn token for writing on a platform such as steemit etc. I believe it might be a complete waste of time unless you have a niche that makes youe article to be greatly read on the platform. Apart from this, you can create your own blog and start writing great article. Source for followers through affiliated programs and build your own blog. Ones it is monetized and you are devoting a large amount of time to publish great content, you can be rest assure of making money rather than posting on other platforms to earn penny
That's right, it takes a lot of upvote or likes etc. to get big rewards, and it's quite difficult if your article isn't seen and attracts the attention of many people.

Well, of the three marketplaces mentioned, I only know Origin. Origin offers many rewards that we can claim every month since 2019, this monthly event that many hunters have been waiting for. Marketplace and cryptocurrency are a unique combination to form a strong niche, this makes it easy for crypto enthusiast to realize its desire to maximize cryptocurrency functionality for shopping.

Aside from Open Bazaar, I haven't heard of any other marketplaces. I think the problem will these marketplaces is that they don't get words about their platform out. I know a lot of people who still don't know that they can exchange their Cryptos for items. Some only thing you can only buy airtime with crypto or if you're lucky, a merchant that accepts crypto payment which is not rampant at the moment. I heard someone mention particl. I think it's a good option too. Known the platform for like 2 years before they even transitioned from Shadow Cash to particl.

i think i heard this openbazar before but i instantly forgot them  . you know they dont promote thier platform verry well  . so many crypto users now but most of them arent aware with those platforms but the one that they only familiar with is buying crypto with data and prepaid recharge  ( like you said )  because this is way to common and can be easily searchable  . online shopping is pretty popular now too but most of them only accept centralize payment  gateways but not cryptos

I would definitely put binance at the top, thats the best exchange out there, I would put coinbase up there because it provides for millions of dollars and maybe even over one billion dollars in the whole world thanks to their USA market share, the last one would probably be bitmex because they changed the game and created futures thing where now people do billions of dollars worth changes.

All of them have their own ways as you can see, one is the best altcoin exchange website in the world and has insane volume, the other is the fiat/btc change and probably the most known one in the world, the last one is futures which is more financial but at least it is innovative, there are not that many exchanges that can beat these ones at their own versions.

Im not aware of all of the websites in the articles but I try them and it was a great thing to have this kind of website being able to exchange products using cryptocurrency.

But the websites still need a lot of development for having or trading in this kind of websites. Also, I don't find it interesting buying collectibles in opensea but I like openBazaar a lot more.

I think we should develop or make a lot of websites like this that support cryptocurrency also could trade a variety of different products hopefully large online shopping companies supports cryptocurrency in the future.

There needs to be more marketplaces, so far the market is very limited and forces crypto to be a holder of wealth, hopefully more marketplaces where you can use your crypto for services / goods increases and improves.

Also checked out the blogging platform and signed up, it's a great platform that's a free and easy way to earn BAT. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to get hold of some crypto.

Needs more marketplaces to allow mass adoption, currently having a cryptocurrency is only useful as a way to save / earn money, you can't really buy anything with it.

Good article though, and i will check out the marketplaces that I hadn't heard of.

Thanks for the article, it was really great to read about a couple other marketplaces. My personal favourite, not mentioned on the list, is Vertex. I really enjoy how user friendly Vertex is and the fact that I dont have to complete any KYC is just the cherry on the cake.

I think a lot of people are confused with what a marketplace is. It's a place where you can exchange crypto for goods that is all. Not an exchange or a market. Very good article though and has opened my eyes to the lack of marketplaces. There should be more of these as I've heard about OpenSea for a long time and i don't see any new projects trying to challenge it.

Also thanks for sharing the blogging platform, it's a great way to earn BAT. I have combined it with the brave browser to double the amount of BAT i earn daily. If anyone is interested in the platform, you can sign up through the link in this thread, i would highly recommend it.

Pretty cool article actually, never heard of opensea marketplace before I read this. It's not very interesting to a normal crypto user like me though, maybe interesting for kids who like to collect things or serious collectors. I don't know, maybe it's just not for me.

P.S. I'm so not trying to earn from Publish0x. You might be earning more now but later it'll just end up being another Steemit when users learn how to game the system (and trust me they will always find a way).

Same with me, I just know it and I'm surprised that OP said those are top 3 crypto marketplace. So doubtful for me, it seems the writer only used Alexa traffic ranking to determine them. Or actually the writer only intended to promote that marketplace. There is a lot of mass media paid to promote crypto projects, so it is quite difficult to trust on that news.
True, I also do not believe the news written in the publishox platform, because everyone must know about the top 3 crypto, because now there are many ways to find out each cryptocurrency ranking.
by looking at sites that have ranking data, we can clearly see the crypto with the best ranking. references can also be obtained from many places, so if the reference is wrong then we have to look elsewhere for information. and select the reference that is most trusted by you and also has many followers.

I actually think that Bitcointalk is a bigger marketplace than some of those.... The marketplace section is actually quite active with over a dozen new listings everyday.

I mean OpenSea only allows people to sell NFTs, while Origin Protocol is practically dead.

Also, how could you forget selly.gg? Even though there's a huge number of scams on there, it is hard to argue that isn't one of the most popular crypto marketplaces.

Please you must understand the context of the list that already made by OP. Marketplace doesn't mean the exchange site and both are having the different definition as marketplace will be more concentrated with the buy and sell the items just like amazon, walmart and something else but with the combination of the decentralized system to make it much more secure. binance and yobit are exchange sites that must be putting on the different category.

yes I think he misinterpreted it, the market he mentioned was the place of the coin exchange indeed he said was correct but the subject was different whereas the marketplace had a broader meaning.

Hope to see you there!

publishox seems to be trying really hard, but idk, i still dont think they will be the "one" blogging platform
tbh, imo these guys should have just partnered their ideas with an established project, Steem or w.e there did it first, why not partner?
too many crypto projects are too busy wanting to sell their own ideas when they should just be working together, at this point we have 20 of everything and nothing usable  : /
as far as marketplaces goes, same thing, people should just use Openbazarr, they were an original

why is there no binance or maybe yobit? after reading, it's a marketplace that not only trades and buys crypto, but also buys items.

Well, it can't be denied, these three are the top ranks in the marketplace in cryptocurrency, my favorite origin protocol, because I can trade with the ETH that I have, plus the three of them have very good exchange systems and the systems they have that make them dominate the marketplace that they have exist in cryptocurrency. The point is for other marketplaces to emulate and try better so we have lots of options for the marketplace

I'm only aware of open bazaar but with open sea, why it is on number 1 on your article? And the same goes for the origin protocol. I don't know these marketplaces that you are suggesting.

Why not include the forum's marketplace categories? there are a lot of trades that's happening there.

A marketplace is a place where you can exchange crypto for products. Don't think about it as a place you exchange cryptos as that is more of an exchange concept.

Opensea - You can purchase ERC-271 tokens (items on the blockchain)

Origin Protocol and Open Bazaar - You can get items for your crypto.

When he mentioned marketplace the thing that came into my mind is exchange. I thought I'm gonna see binance on the list, so meaning marketplace mentioned is where you can purchase tokens or products that accept crypto tokens too.

Is these marketplace are well known to be honest never heard of it aside from Origin Protocol which come to my mind since Ive read of them before.

Same with me, when people mention the marketplace, people will immediately think that it is an exchanger and that immediately crossed is Binance or Huobi. Regarding opensea, I don't know him yet and maybe in the near future it will be a good marketplace for cryptocurrency adoption

Exchanges was also  the first in my mind when I read the article. Despite it being the top 3 as they only few of us knew except that Openbazaar. If all these three are going to survive when cryptocurrency can be massively adopted anywhere, this may just be a household name just like ebay or craigslist. But this is if they are going to be supported with fiat gateways.

Interesting article, I believe this area of the crypto market needs to evolve as it allows people to use their crypto to buy goods.

Thanks for sharing the crypto blog as well, I've not used it before, but i've signed up and started earning BAT without investing money or mining, I highly recommend. It's a great starting point / bounty hunting platform to earn top tokens. You can sign up through the link in this thread.
Honestly, I have only use Openbazaar and bought small electronic parts. The other alternative crypto marketplaces are the first time I see in this article.
For earning BAT you can download and use the Brave browser. The Brave Rewards program airdrops monthly BAT for both authors and readers.

Actually I just know Opensea because of this thread. After I looked at the web, I thought this was a very interesting marketplace. I see most products from Dapps games. One that I saw was cryptokitties, which in the past I had tried to play and breed various cats. And once sold 2 cats there for 0.5 ETH.
For a quick look into Opensea, I can say that the web is very cool and interesting.

Well it is the first thing that also came into my mind I though about crypto exchange.
But I think this kind of marketplace should be promoted I hope that there would be something like Amazon that accepts crypto,
But we should be aware if something like that exist always watch your wife if she would buy something from your account Grin .

Great article, thanks for sharing with the crypto community. There needs to be more articles like this to educate new users of crypto and increase mass adoption.

I'm also very impressed with the blogging platform the article is written on, i've signed up and started earning BAT through it as I can't earn it through the ad system as it's not available in my country yet. I would recommend it to anyone looking to earn crypto, especially if you are a content creator. You can sign up through the article on this thread.

Interesting read, though I do not necessarily agree with how it seems these marketplaces were ranked in this list. Based on how the Alexa rating of the marketplaces are listed right under their corresponding names, it seems like that was one of the primarydeciding factors in how these marketplaces were ranked, which I don't like because the other two marketplaces besides OpenBazaar are significantly newer and thus somewhat less reputable than OpenBazaar, and I wouldn't rank OpenSea over OpenBazaar or vice versa simply because of their features because OpenSea only allows you to list digital goods and OpenBazaar only allows you to list physical goods. It really just depends what you as a merchant or consumer is looking for in this case.

I do like how user- and newbie-friendly the top 3 ranked platforms appear, however. I'll definitely be looking into OpenSea and Origin Protocol for potential sales opportunities in the future.

This is a great article that shows that the crypto market is evolving. Most people I try to convert to crypto complain that they cannot buy anything with crypto and have to convert it to fiat. We need more marketplaces that allow you to buy items with crypto, rather than just trading.

Checked out the blogging platform and i've signed up to it, it's great. I've earned more BAT through that platform than the actual Brave Browser on a daily basis. i will be using it more and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to earn crypto without investing their capital or mining. You can sign up through the link on this thread.

I tried openbazaar years ago, it probably have a friendly interface today than it was 2016.

OpenBazaar has a very good user experience, a big variety of items to purchase and a strong team who care about privacy of people.
they also accept Zcash thats why i love them even more
top marketplace in this space

I just checked but they still doesn't have a android app, that is not good. More of the sellers today prefer to make transactions on mobile. They'd be losing the users who wants to use this type of option and I think the privacy isn't going to be at risk even with apps.

It's a very interesting article, so far this area hasn't really developed compared to lets say the exchange market. The issue is currently it's hard to use your crypto to buy items, there needs to be more marketplaces like these 3 listed in the article.

Also thanks for sharing the crypto blogging platform the article is written on. I've signed up and started earning BAT through it (You can earn more BAT daily than the BAT browser adds for simply upvoting articles). I will be using this platform to create my content from now on. I would recommend this platform to anyone looking to earn crypto for free. You can sign up through the article in this thread.

the forum's marketplace full of scam if you don't be careful if you trading here
Obviously, you can determine the scams and you can figure out the legit ones. And we have an escrow service that you can avail for a very small amount to make your trade secured and safe from the trustworthy people of the community.

This will give you ease and peace if you have something to purchase from other forum members.

How about STP Network? It allows users to stake STPT to earn rewards in other tokens and you can also participate in MTO's (Micro Token Offerings) which can be really profitable even if you don't have a lot of money to invest in them.

I know about what a marketplace is but what I don't know is the existence of the other two marketplaces that you have mentioned. The idea of opensea is like the digital goods of the forum's marketplace to make it easier to understand.

What I'm questioning here is that why is it that many haven't heard about those marketplaces that you have included. Yes, open bazaar is quite popular but the other two is what makes me wonder.

OpenSea is still lack of the popularity but remember that was created to provide the market for collectibles crypto. As far as i know now so many games in the blockchain use this concept to create a collectible token to be purchased by the users.

But earning by blogging will give you a few pennies and publish0x is working by tipping the content creator. It's not having the same method that used by steem.
