I am skeptical why we have to use exchanges
Think about this for a minute.
all of them are shit and probably involved in scandals in pumps and dumps we don't even know about. I am skeptical why we have to use exchanges and trust them. But majority of the trading volume is there, wish we didn't have any operators running an exchange.
In my opinion, Bittrex, cryptsy, poloniex, c-cex and mintpal
obviously you're not up on mintpal since they crashed Oct 1 trying to migrate to V2.Lost balances, lost withdrawals and no support.
They blew it big time and I doubt they'll ever come back.
in terms of volume its not a matter of opinion. there are stats for that (by btc)

With all the changes in the altcoin exchanges recently, who would you rate as the top 5 in terms of volume (not counting exchanges like btc-e, and others with a limited number of coins)?
