I'm surprised there isn't any XRP on that list. It's certainly one of the most used cryptocurrency for gambling, too, given how fast the transfers are and how cheap the transfers can be no matter the time of the day. True that XRP as a coin itself might not be that good to hold in the long term, but for gambling purposes, it certainly is on par (or even better at times) on these coins mentioned. Never had any problems with XRP transfers in between casinos, too.

Honestly, Bitcoin and Doge which I often use in gambling bets, I have strong reasons to use these two cryptos, the reason is common, maybe some people here know how easy it is to use the two cryptos.
But, I use tron and ripple for my gambling to save time and money. I was using dogecoin for gambling but after my dogecoin core wallet started showing error and not syncing to make my new transactions, I decided not to make use of dogecoins for any of my transactions and I have stopped using bitcoins for gambling purposes some 3 years back itself after finding how cheaply I had spent bitcoins.

By the times of 2018, I was using BCH for gambling as I had claimed it from the fork event but since then in 2020 and 2021 I have been using tron and ripple only for gambling as these coins are helping me to get into gambling in no time due to quicker network confirmations.

Which among these is your favorite? And which cryptos you often use in gambling that aren’t on the list?
Bitcoin and DogeCoin, you own what you use in betting on gambling sites from the 5 crypto you mentioned.

The question for what, you ask the crypto that is often used in gambling bets...!

Should, you create a topic and ask about the comparison and transaction fees in deposits to gambling sites, which crypto is suitable and the cheapest and fastest fees.

Honestly, Bitcoin and Doge which I often use in gambling bets, I have strong reasons to use these two cryptos, the reason is common, maybe some people here know how easy it is to use the two cryptos.

Well, the truth is that the best currency for me in any casino are the following:

1.-ADA
2.-TRX
3.-UNI
4.-DOT
5.-BNB

And when the market in general begins to recover, I think that the coins that are going to shine the most are Matic and Solana, the reason is simple, if the metaverses are successful, I think that these coins are going to be highly sought after by players, for their trust and because their networks will be much sought after for possible projects, in addition the fees will be the lowest in the market and that is why they would be very successful, of course this is mere speculation.
And already, as many have said, stablecoins are a great choice, especially BUSD, which sometimes does not have an associated fee.

The casino usually choose the coin which have the demand and liquidity in the market and there were some coins like doge which was added to many casinos last year but ETH have gas issues due to which many players prefer ltc or say doge to withdraw the funds. There might be some other coins also which might be added to the casino list this year depending on the casino plans and market demands.
Of course it mostly depends on the casino or game provider, but there are certain traits to a coin token that make it more favorable. For instance cheap fees. Stablecoins are also attractive as they minimize the price movement  (although volatility might be a desired feature depending on the nature of the game)

Well its good to add up this two options and make the player decide wether which of those coins is ideal for them since there are some users preferred stable coin and some want also to gamble with volatile coins which have cheaper fees. So for this the casino ask should put a poll and ask what coin their community want to be added on their system.

I always prefer BTC, USDT, BNB, and BCH but as much as possible, I wouldn't pick ETH because of its high gas fee which is a common problem for most crypto gamblers. I hope that the ETH network would do something about the high gas fees this year. The coins mentioned always provide convenience and smooth transactions so players always prefer using them.

I used Bitcoin, Litecoin, Tron, and other cheap fees coins, I don't have any reason to use ETH and any coins using ETH chains since the fees is insane, it will reduce my profit. To be honest this survey aren't really important, usually a casino can adding more coins whatever he want. The biggest problem is the casino, does it's exit scam? or does they will do bad thing to the gamblers (e.g. randomly froze a coins, ask KYC, terminating account).

I made use of all the mentioned coins in gambling except Tether. I cannot remember an instance when I used USDT in betting. I really started with Bitcoin of course. Altcoins then became an option for reasons that Bitcoin fees are sometimes unbearable and losing Bitcoin seems more painful than losing fiat or altcoins. Dogecoin was particularly attractive before because of the lack of decimals. Everything's whole numbers. LOL!

I think that more and more people are actually using DAI or USDT for gambling.

As long as you don't use the ETH chain version of these stablecoins, I think that they are actually quite viable.

Transaction fees are low on networks such as Polygon which is definitely good, and the stability of value allows fiat players to also enjoy the fast transactions that are offered by crypto casinos.
When will they fix the problem that they have in Ethereum, I feel like a lot of people have been clamoring for this to be fixed because this has been a big problem for Ethereum for a long time. I can agree that Polygon is a pretty good one, I have used it before and I think that it's better than Ethereum. Surprised to see that people use Tether for gambling as most sites advertise heavily on crypto as a means to gamble in their platform.

I think the reigning cryptocurrency used in gambling would always be BTC given its dominant and high price in the market. But with the creation of dozens and thousands of altcoins in the market, this gave rise to several options where a person may exercise in gambling away their resources.

It's not how I looked at the situation currently. If possible, gamblers will choose the minimal and lowest few as much as they can when they are about to deposit funds on a gambling site. BTC deposit fees are insane and that's a big issue to those gamblers being regular or not. USDT, TRX, or BNB, if supported by gambling sites will be the most used crypto either for deposits or withdrawal.

For gamblers, it's not actually a big deal for them if the currency they will use is dominant or not. Fees are critical and the lower fees are available, that's what they will choose.

Crypto payments made waves in 2021, especially in online gambling. These cryptocurrencies are the most used in 2021 for crypto gambling:

- Bitcoin

These also happen to be the common cryptocurrencies accepted in online casinos. For sure you’ve also used these cryptos to play games and bet on sports. Which among these is your favorite? And which cryptos you often use in gambling that aren’t on the list?

To be honest, I often used my BTCs in gambling as it is the most convenient and most widespread used currency among all the gambling websites. At least all online (and even physical) casinos accept BTCs as payment/reward in using their services.

I am also in favor of using other cryptocurrencies that are not listed on the list since it somehow implies that its popularity is steadily rising on the market.

We should not just refer to 2021 happenings but let it as a whole year. I think no difference as gamblers stick to their preferred crypto as long as they will sustain their gambling needs. As much as possible for me, I like the lowest fees possible when depositing money to a gambling site.

I salute Stake in terms of their withdrawal fees regardless of the amount that will be withdrawn. That maybe the reason why Stake is gaining more users while they are advancing.

Weird, BNB isn't there. I'm fairly sure it was quite popular, a few of my friends often use it as well. Might have just been outplaced by the others in the list though, after all, I myself recognize those on the top of the list. They're rather old options tbh, especially LTC and Doge, I've used my fair share of them whenever I've tried to play a few times these past few months. Kind of odd still for ETH and BTC to even be there, the fees on those two are bloody insane that I'd wonder if those using it are just throwing money away.

BNB is relatively new when it comes to gambling. However, it is now included in most casinos.
In terms of BTC, there are some casinos which are integrating BSC network as withdrawal network, which is very cheap (check in betfury).
The listed options by the OP are those old ones already. But he forgot TRX, as this one is considered to be one of the cheapest.
Up until now, we know ETH is quite expensive. And a lot are really avoiding this network.

Dogecoin for me.

As it's spending like almost nothing because of its price. Unlike spending bitcoin and ethereum, bitcoin is precious to everybody while ethereum does have a lot of fees.

But that doesn't mean that I'll stop gambling with those two. Whatever is available that I'm going to gamble, I'll gamble with it.

I would go with LTC.

LTC is very widely used and has way lower fees compared to ETH, or even DOGE after the pump. It also has very good liquidity.

I don't like playing with Tether just because it doesn't give me any meaningful exposure to actual cryptos, which is what I would want to be in for the long run.
Me too Grin

The fees are low and the confirmation is fast. LTC can be the top cryptocurrencies to serve better than the other coins. But besides LTC, TRX, BNB, Dogecoin, XRP and others have low fees. But still, I prefer to use LTC to send or receive the transaction if the money is not too big. I do not use Tether to send or receive because the fee is too high for me.

It will be good to see the source of the information because XRP I'm sure is one of the coins being used widely.
BTC is the number although I'm still using TRX and DOGE to bet on casinos but mostly is BTC for sports. TRX and DOGE are the fastest and cheapest besides XRP which I also use. XRP is also accepted in many casinos.

I have some doubts about ETH because of the transaction cost, sending and the withdrawal cost alone made me not use it on sportsbet and stake.

Tron should be added on the list on all the gambling sites I'm playing I always see Tron as one of the options, they are fast and cheap, casinos will greatly benefit if they keep adding coins in their options, one of my favorite casinos Betfury is adding new coins or tokens every month to motivate holders of a particular coin to deposit and play with it.

I'm shocked (USDT) tether is used for gambling purposes.

Tether is outright banned in many countries and states. Its pegged to the US dollar which is experiencing inflation at the moment. There is a chance many countries which do not currently regulate tether or stablecoins could choose to do so in the future.

Would be curious to know what advantages tether might offer to gamblers to offset what could be disadvantages. Don't get me wrong. I love tether as a means of purchasing bitcoin but do not think it is well suited for use in the gambling industry.

You forgot about Tron (TRX). This even more widespread crypto than Dogecoin, for example. I know few sites where you can deposit with TRX but they didn't had Doge as allowed crypto to make a depo (i'm not sure if things still the same for now).
The main pros of TRX is extremely fast transactions, so it's very good to make deposit with this.

yeah, he did forget TRX. and it is one of the cheapest and fastest out there. and when it comes to using the TRC20 network - try sending USDT (TRC20) and you will know the difference. most casinos are charging high fees when you use USDT (ERC20).

Not only casinos. Withdrawals of ERC-20 USDT from Huobi costs like 30-40 dollars per transaction. And with TRX-20 USDT - 0.5 dollars. Feel the difference as they said Grin

As i know, most of people don't using ETH and even BTC. Only TRX, Doge and Litecoin.

LTC is indeed a good option because a lot of trading platforms or casinos are accepting this old alt and still maintaining their cheap fees.

BNB is underrated imo.

ETH used to be the dominant player because of its low fees compared to BTC but in recent days, this has essentially been turned upside down.

There is now way too much fees associated with using ETH for it to be worthwhile, and I would suggest any beginners to avoid it for gambling microtransactions for now.

Could you share where did you find that those are the five most used cryptocurrencies in online crypto gambling?

I prefer to stick with bitcoin, so I don't miss any potential pump which might happen suddenly while I'm with my funds deposited at the casino balance. Besides cheaper fees, I see no reason to exchange bitcoin for altcoins in order to gamble. The more money you keep in BTC the better. Some may argue bitcoin is too valuable and expensive to play with, but so far 1 satoshi is still 0,00047$ or so. Bitcoin has to rise a lot in value yet until it doesn't fit for gambling purposes anymore.

Which iGames accept cryptocurrency? I haven’t tried any yet but I’d love to use DOGE or LTC since they are more cheaper when it comes to fees and way faster though. I rarely use BTC in my gambling activities, I’d rather hold this than to gamble, so I still prefer altcoins while gambling as well, I consider its value and its network fees.

Dont forget SHIB!

There are coins which had been added and casinos would definitely be adding it up depending on market demand and of course BTC would be the main coin and
mostly in top altcoin and other been added accordingly.

So what coin i do make use the most? Bitcoin and DOGE, depending on fee situation but since Btc does have low fees then im
sticking to it.

Bitcoin, Tron, BNB, BUSD... I mostly use these coins for gambling! From time to time I use other coins too, but these ones are my favorites! Bitcoin as always is on top, but TRX is good with low and fast transactions... when we are at low and fast transactions I completely replaced Ethereum with BNB! I will never pay high ETH fee again in my life! Smiley

I was looking for some coin at BC.games and when I opened the list of all coins and tokens they accept I was amazed... the list is impressive. So I believe that list of top crypto for iGaming is long in 2021, and will probably be longer in the upcoming years!

From the above list, you somehow missed to include Bitcoin Cash which is widely used in gambling platforms (some platforms even use BCH only. Without to mention the platforms supporting Fiat which are few compared to crypto based casinos.
Personally, i always prefer using Eth or Btc for deposits/withdrawals while i don't care which coin i use within the platform especially if i can make internal swaps.

Generally speacking, users shouldn't be sticking at one or two crypto during their whole lives ; choosing a currency is a matter of several conditions to be taken in consideration. And for newbies, it's better to start with btc before gettng familiar with other cryptos .

Many coins are emerging more and more and are becoming more and more popular. Still, it seems to me that Bitcoin is still the most favorite of every player. Whatever site you play on, Bitcoin is accepted everywhere these days. If you look at the market value, that is not surprising. What the rest offers for coins varies a lot. Most players will just use Bitcoin. Will stay the most popular one for the next years surely.
