As I have said before, I think that now more than ever people should hold on to BTC, in second place to ETH, but since most of the time many of us do not have enough money to buy these coins, we appeal to the that could possibly go up, and well, one of the ones that I really see a good future for or that can take a big bullish jump is Matic and Solana, previously I had other coins that are very interesting in their projects, but I lean much more towards Matic and Solana for the simple fact that they will be the most used by metaverse projects and more than what they have to do with NFT games, this is the main reason why I think so.

I think the market is making a dynamic shift in 2022. I think more than half of the top 10 now, will not remain on that list for more than 24 more months (risky prediction. remind me later). The shake out will happen this year. So, Bitcoin, ETH, BNB maybe. But after that, it's hard to say definitively. I believe there will be a lot of money coming out of fiat and into crypto currencies though. Which leaves a lot of room for others to take over these top spots.

Influencers and Maxis of all types and coins will try to keep things the same. But things evolve and times change. It would be hard to reverse-link all of the new technologies and innovations with such ironclad and basically unchangeable chains. We will need new ones, constantly and forever. Don't get me wrong. Blockchain WILL change the world. But it is basically an idea, and is not proprietary to any one coin. Unless you can build more and more products/applications on top of that chain, it is just a store of wealth (a good savings account). There needs to be others vying for the most relevance combined with real world applications and use-cases.
 
That all being said, I think coins that are tied to real world assets, or have real world impacts, are going to be the next BIG trend.

Gaming will create a bridge between the real world and the blockchains. This concept will be a little more accepted mainstream, as most people are used to buying these "digital currencies", to buy things in-game. Whoever becomes the underlying asset for these "game currencies" will dominate.
The NFT market will soon turn more to NFTs that are tied to things like real art or property. Those who can tie the real world with NFTs might change the world. Real estate would change forever. Imagine partial ownership of a historical landmark or a 1-of-a-kind property. Not easily possible on paper contracts, across multiple countries. But with a smart contract on a blockchain, it might very well change the world.

To make the list you will have to be in - Real Estate - Fractional Ownership (F-NFTs) of 1-of-a-kind Art / Property / Land - Gaming currency - Bridges to all forms of crypto and fiat - NFT marketplace - Dapp developmental access - AND be on a chain that can scale up, adapt and comingle with other chains.

There are so many new project in the crypto world and every project seems to be very promising at first but end up wrongly. Most importantly its not about investing in a new project but investing in one with a well detailed roadmap and erudite team. Yah all are good coins to invest yes I accept. Bitcoin, Eth, BNB are really the best among others you have mentioned. You can yes certainly add up Polygn (Matic) along with the above. I have been watching it since it came into the industry. A coin to have more confidence. A coin which captured the market well soon it came into the market. You can add up Doge as well if you are going for meme coin. Yes another best coin having a good trading volume in many best exchanges. I observed WOO coin to be other best coin. You can look into it if you have time.

BNB is also quite profitable for investments other than Bitcoin and Ethereum, and I believe that entering 2022 BNB can still be a good choice
for investment. So totally agree BTC, ETH and BNB should be top priority in 2022. Because all three guarantees can generate big profits
if we can be patient waiting for the price to reach new ATH. So if at the beginning of 2022 the prices of the three coins have decreased, don't panic,
make it an opportunity to buy the three coins. Actually the key to successful investment in crypto is choosing the right coins to buy,
then how patiently we hold the coins to achieve the target we want.

Okay, I was expecting some good new projects people are not too familiar with, with a proven sophisticated techonogical solution. I already deal in your list for years and one just need the probable one that could pull 1000x or less not asking for more. We should continue to see layer1 solaution as the quest for dominance and innovation gets some hit. ICP is not here even Near.

I keep these two coins in 20% of my portfolio, XRP still has good hope in the future, I see there are many new projects running on XRP network, you can see New coins and projects in every twitter post because there are many projects that are being developed rapidly like Sologenic.
BNB is certainly good because the developer is the CEO who owns the big exchange that is Binance, there's no doubting that and I'll keep this coin.

This is true. Bitcoin, ethereum and even BNB are the top and profitable investments we have this 2021 and even by next year hopefully. If we aim of maximizing our returns, these three should be given top priorities as they are bound to increase their value every year. Investing with them could mean higher profits particularly if we bought them at a much lower price and sell them only at their peaks. The fact that we want to hold them for long so we should not be bothered no matter how many dips will come because we only intend to sell them when prices are at their ATH.

Assuming everything was OK with Ethereum network, then Ethereum would have been one of the best coins to invest in for long term together with bitcoin and binance coin, but aside this three, there are still several altcoins which I personally would be investing into in 2022, and one of them is Fusion protocol, another is Chainge Finance, alot have been happening with chainge finance, alot of developments and my instinct tells me that 2022 will be a very big year for chainge finance.
Another project is CinemaDraft plus a host of others, fingers crossed for 2022.

All this crypto-currencies mentioned here a long time coins that people has been investing in and that is even probably before myself and you joined or adopted crypto, so I don't see how you would be advising people to buy into coins that obviously has lots of investors, I think next time if you want to make a post like this and have attention of the right sort go harder and futher in your research, give information and opinion based on your research and then you might come up with quality advice people would love.

Based on what is happening in the market right now , bitcoin and ethereum are still the top cryptocurrencies to invest in 2022. Those coins are very good for both short and long team investment which many investors has confirmed it few months ago in the community. I will still like to invest on bitcoin and ethereum in 2022 because those coins really perform well in the exchange market.
Bitcoin maintain 1st position among other cryptocurrencies  through out the year 2021 and ethereum maintain second position among other cryptocurrencies through out the year too.

Top 10 on CMC is a nice list to watch! It changes from time to time, but the coins that reach the top 10 are the ones who are making progress over the years in terms of price! OP presented a nice list of some old gems, and I believe that all coins from this list will be more popular in the future... it's the conclusion we can make by their performance, all of them are growing and I think we all agree that growth is far from over!

I think that these tokens are no longer relevant for crypto investors, since they do not have the potential for great growth.With a good market, they can grow by a max x2, their ideas are no longer as relevant as before, because now there are many different projects that solve specific problems in crypto and have a strong team and support, and at the same time have the potential to make growth x3 x6 x10 .... I think the coins in the top 10 of CMC are the right coins to invest in, but don't underestimate low cap coins like matic, cardano, NFT and solana, you should recommend this altcoin for 2022, because this altcoin has very high potential, by therefore before the price goes up, buy this coin now.

Only bitcoin, ethereum and binance smartchain I choose to invest long term to short term, they are Top Cryptocurrency and have strongest development team, I believe they are the only highly visible coin in crypto market in terms of trading.

Don't focus on the top coins alone. I'm sure there are a lot of coins that are potentially at a low price. You can research cheaper coins from the thread above. Such as SLP, SOL, Dogecoin, SHIB. I understand that sometimes the coins below have a big risk if invested. Therefore, do your own research and risk responsibility.

You are right because a lot are yet to come and we don't know how the project of the incoming one will look like, i read from the beginning of the topic and i have seen some person's comment and list of coins they dropped as most of the potential altcoins, it come to know altcoins is like token and we buy them because of how good the project is going to be not because we have seen a new coin, we need to think wisely be buying a token that will survive

That cryptocurrency on the list is the top trader's choice to invest. And they have the proven potential to double the investment.
And there are so many upcoming crypto tokens/coins that will be launched this 2022, we need to choose very wisely so that our hard-earned money will not waste.

More metaverse tokens are bound to have their own features being deployed next year.

I think the top cryptocurrencies to buy in 2022 are the metaverse altcoins such as Decentraland, Sandbox, Gala, Alien World, Axie Infinity, Star Atlas, and more. The metaverse ecosystem has huge momentum at the moment, the metaverse ecosystem is expanding rapidly since the day Facebook rename its parent company to Meta. I believe Metaverse has a huge potential and a very big role to play in our lives in the future. 

Apart from Bitcoin and BNB on your list OP, I think the rest there are just over hyped. Come to think of it, Shiba Inu isn't even on your mention despite the great run it has had since its inception. There are several exchanges which have listed it, and I believe there must be convincing reasons for them to have listed it. In addition, I will add that investors should find a way to load up projects which are into Metaverse, play to earn, and NFT by 2022. I expect a hit in them next year.

I guess that metaverse ones will probably the ones that get the attention this year. Sand, Mana, also Axie will probably get some renewed attention as well, even enjie could get some extra attention this year. The biggest ones in my mind is Mana and Sand to be honest they are really looking like they could take off any moment. They could go for another 10x and it wouldn't even be that high on the rankings, which is why there is a room for improvement for them.

Imagine getting into NFT world for the first time before anyone else, or honestly just bitcoin, that is the type of profit we are talking about here. I am guessing there could be some 100x chances with the NFT's involved in them as well, the main token will definitely increase at least 10x if everything goes alright, but we will also have a lot of stuff in the metaverse that we will be able to get early and sell for very high prices.

The listed coins are on the top whether CMC / Coingecko. They are good coins to invest but we have to think as well those new promising coins especially governance token coins. And also add FTM and Matic they are on my list

When you see that you put those coins, they are the ones that mainly make a pump of almost 30% and then fall to their initial value, if this is taken into account to make an investment, we would be talking about short-term investment, right? Yes, it's true, this kind of project has a real level of stability and can be invested in the long and short term, I don't think there is anything to worry about, although Sol, Luna also have good trends going forward, the point is if you have the opportunity to invest, then do it wisely, together and don't miss this good opportunity.

To invest long-term of course we always choose bitcoin and ethereum because both coins are very likely we can get a big profit for the coming year, but there are several other altcoins that we are currently considering investing in because for now the coin is in development, if you believe then polygon, Solana and polka dots can be added to your long-term investment list.

Altcoin also many are also supported by major exchanges including binance in it so that seeing some altcoin is a better thing than just focusing on one altcoin alone in the market because the opportunity to take advantage of the existing moments in the market is something that shouldn't be missed.

bitcoin and all the altcoins you mention are excellent choices for long term investments, they all have very large communities and have very large daily exchanges. but personally I currently prefer BNB for long term investment because BNB is backed by the biggest exchange which is Binance.

i think people have some famous coin in wallet, they just want to make a big profit from different coin.
last year i join in some ico, as bounty hunter. paid some coin and never see my wallet after know that the coin is trash. one year passed and i really regret to ignore that coin, because it have good price around few month ago.

I agree that Litecoin does not look like a very promising investing. I see Litecoin as already a "played card". It has already gained popularity, hype and a huge price growth. No doubt, investing in Litecoin will bring profit, but in my opinion, it will less compared to investing in other altcoin. As a proof of my though, I operate with historical fact. Litecoin ATH was achieved in March 2021. A lot of altcoins updated their ATH in November 2021, together with Bitcoin. But Litecoin did not update it. It was not even close to it. It managed to get only a 65% of its historical highest price.

These three in particular are all terrible choices and best avoided imo. LTC and DASH have lost BTC value in 2021, so are likely to continue losing value, while XRP remains in a long-term downtrend since 2017, so this should tell you enough. More specifically, XRP used to be at no.3, Litecoin top 5 and Dash Top 10 (if not higher during it's earlier days). More relevantly this list appears to be created by an entity looking to shill a particular shitcoin, that doesn't fit with other higher ranking coins, as well as from 2017, given that Ripple is a company not a currency, as was renamed to XRP.

I am not really sure about Litecoin, but I think binance coin is a good option to consider right now. Same thing with Bitcoin, ethereum, and Cardano. One that I am not really going to miss is that Binance coin, apart from Bitcoin, BNB another coin that I am really considering to hold for a long term.

I’ve already invested in it. It is the 2nd cryptocurrency that I have invested more in, while Bitcoin has the most of my investment. then it is followed by Ethereum , and then Cardano. I sold my Litecoin a long time, and I’m still here to decide on whether I should invest in it for now or maybe just leave it. But if I should see any sign that shows that there would be a growth in the Litecoin market, then I might invest in it.

Of course my first choice will fall on Bitcoin because Bitoin is very suitable to be used as an investment in crypto. As the king of coins in cryptocurrency as well as the first coin in cryptocurrency Bitcoin has a strong place and does not easily collapse or just disappear like some altcoins that have now disappeared. Bitcoin has a good performance and continues to grow over time, the proof is that until now Bitcoin is still around and still maintains its position as the best coin in crypto.

if you say long-term coins, for 2022 in the form of investments, for me of the seven coins you mention, for me only three are worth considering long-term.
.dash, Ripple and Cardano, others can be investments over time.

I would say only few of the coins that you have mentioned here is good for investing for long term. I am talking about Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano and probably Litecoin. The rest I wouldn't invest at all or hold them for long. Ripple is currently facing some legal issue. Not sure if those lawsuit has been settled or not. Binance network is a lot centralized and controlled by  the largest exchange(though they keep on claiming that they are decentralized). DASH is somewhat dead I think (but the price keeps on going up..).
Anyway, you should state why you think those coins are good for investment. Just giving description of those coins isn't convincing enough.

Cardano, Polkadot and Avalanche are not coins that live with hype like memecoins that have been trending this year, these three coins are coins that live with genuine volume so that they can present very strong fundamentals in the market

big enough for the APR on offer I guess. $4 a day, with the capital you spend. isn't that very interesting?
CAKE still looks consistent even though the market is moving badly at the moment. maybe because the very strong staking keeps the holder going. if there is an attractive staking program, of course, the holder will prefer to hold it than to sell it.

I am preparing with BNB next year. I keep increasing my BNB load for the long term. not just next year, I plan for 2 more years I will see BNB get a better price.

For 2022 I'm preparing to buy more CAKE because at the moment I follow about 230 CAKE for auto staking and can earn around $4 per day, when the market continues to fall CAKE shows good performance because it can be stable at $11. I have a target to buy around 250 cakes again in 2022.

Bitcoin would always have the first place in my heart when it comes to investing in cryptocurrency, though the value seems to over board, but I can comfortably invest in bitcoin and go to bed without thinking of anything negative because I know the value would be much more in the near future.

I agree what you said about Cardano. Cardano, Polkadot and Avalanche could end up like Tron, Neo and Eos of 2017. Proof of stake coins that got pushed up by hype.

Why haven't you put avalanche on the list? This is one of the best L1 currently available now that has considerable gas fee out there. Yes it may sound new compare to those on your top list but having a wide ecosystem that has immensely grow in a short period of time could be a next game changer. I know this cause I shifted to trading on avax than ethereum. Of course my reason is due to gas fee, but compared to usabilty I can vouch for avax as fast and reliable chain for conductign activity such as nft, or basic trading.

I'm not sure if Metaverse will sustain the next hype and sustain it into the next year's cycle, but everything will still be an opportunity to fill the drawer.  Defi will still be hot and the new trend of web 3 like Dot, Bat, Theta, FIL, KSM, HNT will be good choices to catch the next pumps at 2022

No one would deny that the list of your choice is best. This top project will eventually grow over time if you have enough patience. But you have to understand crypto market runs through trends. Where the trend is most of the money will flow there. So following the trend is also be a good idea. You can put some of your portfolios to where the market is trending. Right now many people think the next trend will be for the web3 project or the project that cross-bridge protocol. I want to mention some of those project names so people can do some research.

Web3: BICO, CTSI, FIL, THETA, OCEAN, DIA

Agree on this, I'm a long time Dash holder since there ATH and it didn't move even half of ATH during the bullrun while most of the old project is breaking new ATH again. Most the blockchain is already active like Solana, Harmony, Zilliqa, Tezos, Avalanche and many more that's why old blockchain like Dash and  Litecoin is not getting any attention from investors due to tough competition in this same market industry. I believe they might have a chance to recover again once someone like Elon Musk will hype the project. I'm not losing hope since even Dogecoin and Shiba Inu which is a useless token still having the best hype of there time.

if this is your portfolio then this is fine. even most of them are coins worth holding in each year. however, some coins that are worth and not there are SOL and MATIC. both coins were very popular this year, and will likely become popular in the years to come.
Personally, I'm interested in popular coins that still don't go over $1k. for now, my main focus is on BNB, then other coins.

A lot of promising projects are now rising and become promising this year. Top 10 altcoins including bitcoin is the number one option or a good way to earn profit. But there are also a lot of new promising project including gaming and metaverse project they are now both on fire and can give us a profit in first quarter of the year example are CIFI, ETNA, PYR.

Bitcoin and Ethereum are only for me on the list. To be honest, I don't see any good future for Binance Coin, Cardano, and Dash.
Once Ethereum will solve its problem about scalability, for sure other alternative smart contract chains will start to lay low, like Binance Coin and Cardano. Other altcoins is really far from Ethereum in terms of development and project itself.

Bitcoin is the best and safest option for long term investment and everyone should have bitcoin as their main option.


Ethereum is also another good long-term investment option, although its price seems to me to be too high and can make a maximum profit of 2X

These coin lists are old coins and top coins. I don't mind about the coins in the lists. But, I think that it is not only coins to invest in 2022, but all years, these top coins can still become the choices. So, it doesn't matter to invest in next year or this year.

I think that you will talk about new probably coins that will be booming or hype and will become the next era in 2022. Maybe it is about metaverse projects in which they are starting to rise up right now. And they also offer very interesting concepts.
I personally will try some of them like Sandbox and maybe more other Metaverse.

that's its better not to believe the "observers" above are old coins that are still surviving in the market ! in 2019 "forgot" I saw an expert making speculation assumptions in 2022 even a new bullrun happened again like the altcoin season so that observer is not always right ! ^{but right solana matic dot is better than xrp}

We have a lots of plan for the upcoming years 2022. We have seen that the most of the top coin has gained enough at the year 2021 .Now the question is that will the trend continue as well on the next t year ??Remember we have got huge downtrend in the recent time so that have a chance once again to grab the potential top coin like Eth,BNB ,Avax ,SOL ,DOT etch .We have well known that those project are well established and more popular on the crypto market .Those have s great future as well So it will be wise decision to buy on this deep and hold on 2022 ,hopefully we will get a huge return .

They are certainly the top picks for most of the crypto investors as they are time tested and proven. But if you expect more out of your investment, you could risk to other promising coins like solana, Polygon, axie, or anything new you believe does have a potential to gain attention. Old coins would be difficult to double in value, specially the ones that have a large marketcap. Gains are more possible in low cap low supply coins but you should also minimize the risks as you might lose more than you earn from risky investments.

I think buying Revain is the right decision, Revain is a token that we deserve to buy and make an investment goal in 2022, this is an old token that has risen again and is now a promising token. I'm sure new ATH will happen soon in 2022.

I think 2022 is the year where all altcoins have not survived a decline, unless BTC as the main coin experiences differences as many observers predict that 2022 will start to enter a bear period. Some altcoins that can still be hold or purchased in 2022 or can be said to be long term investments are ETH, BNB, Solana, Dot, Matic.

If there will be a better coin than BNB then it will absolutely put that out. I'm just looking at the market and realized that several months and years ago, it was XRP that's on the top three. Im getting a bit surprised to see that if you're still mentioning dash in your list. Is not it era for privacy coin almost end? Monero was the most reliable privacy coin that may exist for long term but i feel doubt with dash coin. Some people are also saying this coin already rebranded into the defi coin but i don't know about which was the correct statement. Are you still believing in litecoin even its CEO dumped all of his token in the market?
This could be a red flag to say not for litecoin. I may feel good with the rest but dash and litecoin are the worst choices in your list. You can replace it with better platforms that gives various utility tokens.
To be honest token is better than those coins as tokens have more utility usage rather than dash and litecoin.

I do agree with this but i should remind you that litecoin was a bad coin without any utility and it's better to replace this one with ethereum.
