Well it's not just the price of bitcoin. I think it reflects the common trust in the market.
Maybe Bitcoin is repeating after Stellar.
Bitcoin market is same like this in 2013 as well when it reach all time high after then price started to drop and stable so it again bounce back
Yeah the market follows bitcoin. No wonder it hold nearly half of the market value

Because the price of altcoin is be prorated with bitcoin, and if the exchange rate between altcoin and bitcoin is unchanged, when the bitcoin price decreases, altcoin prices will fall.

when btc dip or pump , then other alts follow it , so it is the reason most of time for similar chart.
For example btc and cardano. absolutely identical graphics, but cardano does not apply to bitcoin...
