Nah. For me lomachenko is undefeated and would surely end up the undisputed champ. His only loss was a fluke and redeeming for that twice only shows that he's on a different stage in this division.

11 wins? That's not a lot, especially if you want to call someone undefeated. It's not a bad record but we are comparing it to someone with over 2 times that.
Based on the record and reach I'd say he's an underdog in this fight.

No, Lomachenko is not the underdog in this fight. Actually he was the overwhelming favorite because if you have followed his fights (he is a good amateur background as well winning Golds in 2008 and 2012 Olympics in 2 different weight class). So I would say he is a late bloomer and perhaps pampered that's why on his 3rd fight, he was fighting for the world title and then there's no stopping him. So he may have 11 fights but he is one of the best and I don't think he can be the underdog in his future fights, just saying.

The bottomline is I was wrong going with Pedraza in this fight but it wasn't until that 11th round that suddenly the tides went in favor for Lomachenko. Don't get me wrong but all the previous rounds before the 11th round I can say that Pedraza was keeping up with Loma and all he had was just some moments with big punches. My prediction was right when I said Lomachenko was not comfortable using his right hand particularly his right hook as even if he landed several punch combinations in the fight I didn't even saw him once throw a right hook at Pedraza. The question now is who will be next for Lomachenko? Move up and face Terrence Crawford or still prove himself at the lightweight division and face undefeated Mikey Garcia?
Loma was having a hard time against bigger opponent but the problem with Pedraza in my opinion is he respect too much Loma though he threw a lot of jab but it just hit the gloves often. I did not see the killer instinct of Loma until the 11th round maybe because he was cautious and avoid being knock down again which is still in his head.

I agree with your observation, Loma find it difficult to land his body shot. It took him 11 rounds to do that because Pedraza is moving very well and he has the reach advantage and effectively putting a lot of jabs although it missed a lot, and perhaps the accumulation of punches really took the toll on Pedraza.

I'm not really sure about that either, the first four rounds goes to Lomachenko and even if Pedraza wasn't KD in 11th, it will still be Lomachenko by UD. I would rather want to see him fight Mikey Garcia and I don't think he will be comfortable at 147 to either face Crawford or even Spence, those two will beat him at WW.

The long reach of Pedraza make it harder for Loma to knock out him but it is not enough for him to win. 2 knockdowns on the 11th round and a Unanimous decision. Easy win for Loma indeed. Lets wait for his next opponent.
It isn't bad after all yet Pedraza do still able to perform well but we can really see the difference of ability and experience between them.Long reach is good but when it comes to power then Loma do have it.

Easy win for Loma. He dominated the fight from beginning and even dropped Pedraza is round 11 and cruised to a 119-107 UD across the 3 judges. It's gonna be interesting to see Loma vs Mikey Garcia next.

Am I not watching too much sports news or focused only on just MMA or this fight is not getting its attention that it is supposed to have. Blame it to the promoters to just focus on certain area where to pour money to advertise and campaign for this fight. Lomachengko is good but Pedraza will give him a hard time increase his record to 12-1, it's not going to be a walk in park for Lomachengko.
With those reach and height advantage plus the experience between their total fights this wont really be easy Lomachengko.

I recently watched their weigh in. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNScAdrjZvY

but later on we found out that he had injured his shoulder during his fight. I remember his father saying that "there's no problem, you still had 1 hand and 2 feet", Lol. I think I'm still giving Loma to win this unification bout with Pedraza.
Its really troublesome but lets see if on how he would handle things up.

It didn't gain that much attention because of the Wilder vs Fury fight. Anyways, Yes, we might say that he was exposed during his fight with Linares, but later on we found out that he had injured his shoulder during his fight. A lot of people predicting this fight in a late stoppage or a KO win for Lomachenko but I am just stating the facts here and his fight against Linares showed that he was in no way untouchable when it comes to toe to toe fight. I might be wrong but I know Pedraza will give him a good fight especially him being in great shape for this upcoming fight. One thing is for sure Lomachenko defeating Pedraza in any way will make him undisputed in this division. Any way after this fight I'm looking for the possibility that Lomachenko will be facing Mikey Garcia next which will be a even greater fight.

It's weird how this big unification championship bout fight is three days away and no one has posted a prediction thread yet so let me start. So both boxers would be risking their belts for this unification bout and both of them are hungry to take home both belts. Vasiliy Lomachenko based on the betting odds is the favorite to win the match but the problem here is he is on a disadvantage having a shoulder injury on his recent match against Linares which took time to recover.

Pedraza on the other hand is perfect shape to fight, this will be his 4th fight in 2018 and the first 3 fights are all wins. I'll be going with Pedraza this time as I am worried that Lomachenko will be not comfortable using his right hand to barrage Pedraza with punches, he also have extreme reach and height advantage over him so it will be hard for Lomachenko to play around with the opponent.
