Yes, I like to think that it simply aggravated an existing condition. Slaves were definitely much more valuable outside the regions of Africa they were taken from, seeing that their destinations were either large urban centers (ie, Ottoman cities) or huge plantations, which seem to be absent in Africa at the time.

Black are not cowards is just a discrimination for them from the past decade. They are slave from the white people, but after Abraham Lincoln decided that all human being are fair no matter what color your skin is. So the treats of black people now are equal as the human being.

I don't agree calling them cowards. Everyone has character traits. Even if its good or bad,traits are often developed based on culture,customs,beliefs,traditions etc. The way a person acts depends on how they were raised so everyone is different. The directness of black people are a good trait but sometimes we misunderstood what they were trying. I only know few blacks  and what I observed is that the way they talk can be informal but it doesn't mean that they are a bad person.

Well there is logic in it but saying that the "blacks" are cowardly is a bit off putting. I think what happened was that the "blacks" are pulled out from Africa as slaves right off the bat. Away from their families they become broken and would resort to just follow their slavers. Same goes for the chinese that went here, but for them they are promised gold but are disappointed and would just work so they could go back home. The "braves" have their lands and families, looking at invaders they would rather die than to be slaves in their own lands

Well, it is somehow true that blacks act cowardly. Behind all those wild fits of black bravado and melanin strength, blacks are likely to jump ship at any impending danger. That was base on historic events which the black people became slave to the white people of america. Well you could not tell that being a slave is a sign of cowardliness. It is just that black society are not yet united and they are outnumbered and being colonized. They became slave first before they invoke their right as a human being and fought towards their ruler. That is why they are now free it is because of their strong will that develops within themselves and they stand strong. So if they were being slave before then that was before and today is different. Black people are now equally have their rights as human being with the white people of america.

Blacks were divided. They had a highly divided society between the rulers and the citizens and the high class could easily enslave and trade them. Red Indians had general people in equal level to the leaders and hence had a lot of power in unity.

The big discrimination to black people were very popular and normal.

That's one way of looking in to it, but I would not say that the European and the Arab influence didn't had any negative consequences. Both the groups encouraged tribal warfare, so that they could get an increased supply of the slaves. They played the same trick in the Americas as well.

It has got more to do with the territory rather than having to enslave the Native Americans. Remember, Eurasian diseases killed off a large portion of their population (same with South America) so there was not many people to enslave, hence the need to import from Africa. The Native Americans also conducted raids and ambushes against settlers so there's one more reason.


Even without foreign buyers, slavery existed in Africa due to the frequent tribal warfare. So I think it's a combination of the blacks that were sent to America were already pretty familiar of slavery and knew what could happen if they fought back as well as the unfamiliarity with the new territory they were brought in.

It sounds unscientific, populist and racist. It's better not to read books like this

The blacks were enslaved by the blacks themselves. Rival tribes raided African villages and captured the residents. These residents were in turn sold to the Arabs and the Europeans, in exchange for gold or fire-arms. On the other hand, the Amerindians were fighting for their own survival. They were expelled from their own lands and they fought against it till the very end.

Blacks are not coward, it is only that they were new to slavery experience then
