There are whole lots of thesis topics depending on your field of study. For example I'm an Animal Scientist, I just started my Master Degree. Already developing ideals on what my thesis will look like.

I'm not into cryptography myself so I can't give you any pointers, but you might have more luck in some of the more serious and technical subforums than in off-topic.

Hey guys,

I will start writing my master's thesis in information systems next semester. As I got into crypto about a year ago and was very fascinated by the applied cryptography (which I'm majoring in) I decided to start going more into depth and address the topic academically.
However, as probably most of you, I have rather been concerned with actual projects, their visions and speculation instead of their detailed technical foundations. Therefore, I am looking for advice from someone who is addressing topics academically or is actively participating in projects.
What would you say are current topics of interest that are addressable in the course of a master's thesis? I am interested in doing something practical as developing a prototype myself and have been looking into hyperledger fabric so far. I might go into areas such as distribution or supply chain management.
As I have been working as a developer for a few years, I guess I should have the required technical prerequisites.

I'm grateful for any advice!
Thanks!
