The snow plower is a 10 tonne German truck. The driver was sent to clean snow, when no snow fell that day.
The driver is accused to be drunk, yet family says his heart condition prevents him from drinking, and 2 security checkpoints would not have allowed a worker under influence to come through. I feel he or the flight controller will become a scapegoat to soften the political blow.

Christophe de Margerie was outspokenly against sanctions against Russia, calling them counter-productive and damaging for Europe, and was lobbying for Mistral deliveries to Russia.

Draw your own conclusions.

According to what I read, there was a lot of fog. So its not unthinkable that somebody went out on the runway with a tractor, and then the airplane crashed into it.

I prefer to see little jet crash on snow plow machine, whose driver get out unscattered, than big commercial airliners on big buildings... (I know some maybe offended by such comments, but my First Amendment overrules your (and my) pain, it's called bad taste and it's f--king law of the land).

edit: what will I not say to win an argument... comic.

In Russia airport you can expect not only this  Wink I think - this is very strange thing - air jet was so small that no one from airport staff know that it is taking off ?

I think it is important to note this is the same man that publicly stated there is no reason to continue using the dollar in the petrol trade not too long ago. Messing with the money system is a historically quick way to die. http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/07/05/idUSL6N0PG0E720140705

I smell a drunken plow driver from a retarded, corrupt, crumbling political system.

Not foul play, business as usual in Russia.  Cheesy

A confederacy of dunces that became an unfunny comedy...

Tragic for Christophe de Margerie.
Tragic for Russia as he was one of the few friends of Russia in the West.
Tragic for Total.

I smell foul play.
