Not all money is locked up... for example Polybius announced they will invest in other projects. Or DDF that srtats Monday is investing in other crypto, ICOs, etc...

A lot of the money is going around, so in general that's good for the ecosystem.

How much money is invested, say, last 3 months into ICOs?

I am curious to find a list. Tried google, but its all scatters, no good list. anyone know a source?

yeah, i have tried it a while ago to find some kind of list but i think nobody wants to do it because it is scary. i don't know the source of ~$1 billion dollar that adaseb said in second comment is and how close to reality it is but that money is certainly going to get out of "being locked" soon and hit the exchanges and crash the price. so maybe this is why everyone is keeping it under the radar for now.

Almost 1 billion, In the previous month we know the bancor and eos project already raised over 150 Million dollar that gives more than 25% of the contribution for the total amount that has invested in the ico in the last 3 months. You can try to see the icostats.

I don't think "money locked up" means what you think it means.

I red an article about the ICOs, it was saying 800 millions since the beggining of the year. Not a lot compared to the whole crypto-currencies valuation.

I think a lot of the companies will hold the Ether just like you and me and occassionally sell some.

Even the Ethereum developers liquidated forty percent of their holdings from this known wallet in 2017. Taking advantage while the price is high they have enough Fiat for several years, not to mention excellent summer bonuses.

When the developers are cashing in on the ETH bubble why do you think these companies will hang on to their ETH? The developers liquidated millions of their holdings why are you hanging on to yours?

It will be difficult to calculate, if you question is that how much money as been raised through  ICO, alot of ICOs liquidate their tokens immediately after the ICO
