Exactly how is this calculated? If I'm reading a long post, am I logged on? Or do I have to be a click monkey at all times?
I believe the forum declares you offline after 10-15 minutes of inactivity.

Based on my experience, these 10-15 minutes are not registered in your total time. So basically, I have to generate a click every minute I'm online? Why be surprised about spammers then? You guys encourage them, so that's who you're gonna get!

What are you talking about? They are not encouraged what so ever. There is not one single reason for you to be a "click monkey." in order to get your logged in time up. You require only 4 hours and 5 posts to start posting elsewhere if that's the reason you care about your logged in time. 4 hours takes no times what so ever to get. All you have to do it use the board normally for day or two and POOF, you can post anywhere. Also, as you can tell now that you have 10+ posts, getting posts is extremely easy as well.

I actually think the only reason you made this post or that comment was just to get more posts and logged in time. Relax dude, it's really not that serious. You will have to spend a hell of a lot more time on these boards before people will take you seriously anyways.

You're free to think whatever you please, of course. But try this: log on, do a few clicks, note down the total time logged on. Go away for 20 min. Click again. You total time logged on will not change, or maybe will change by 1 min.

Unfortunately this is not the only forum with restrictions to new members.
I thought I missed some activation e-mail. But that not seems to be the case.

However, my login doesn't expire, since I tick the "Keep logged in" box (or whatever the exact text is).

yea, i think his point is that it would be very easy for something not human to spam the boards with the restrictions. i bot could get on and be able to have access in 4 hours time, there could at least be an image that has a code that needs to be typed in so that you can makes sure everyone is at least human.
