How much is the house edge right now? As far as I know, this is exactly the same site as coindrip. I do not know if that site still exist but I think this similar site do not really attractive. I do not know why, although it has so many games but I do not know why people do not want to play this kind of faucet site. Can you tell us what is the difference with other faucet site

5% on low dust bets is too much
not sure why even bother to create a site if it is not going to be competetive in this area
if I want free money + a chance  to multiply them with an atrocious HE of 5% I would go to freebitcoin
if I want a solid dice site with 1% house edge,I have a wide variety of options to choose from: Bitsler,Primedice,Bitvest etc.
once again:if you want to stay competetive, you will have to offer something that there is not already,or do the same things but better

Yeah, that is exactly what i really want to say about, why bothering to play on new site which has exactly the same house edge as freebitco.in mean while freebitco.in offer a better way of payout, like bonus and reward points. They really want to compete with others but they never survey the market. May be dice site is really easy to make but at least they need to know about the market, what people really want to gamble on their site. They just keep on making the same idea as before and then close after that, what a wasting time

make sure your HE is somewhat competetive
usually, dice is what will be making the most of your profit
so make sure your house edge is close to the industrie's standard 1%
even if that means lowering the max profit

The house edge is 5% like freebitcoin. I tried it with the 1mbtc giveaway and managed to triple it but busted eventually. I guess the house edge will stay the same and also there is no autobet feature which makes users so tired to click all the time.

The HE is actually variable. Lower the payout, higher the HE. Higher payout=lower HE. It gives people more of a chance to hit higher payouts. But if enough people want it changed, we will change it when we update the site. We will also be adding an auto bet feature when site is updated. Updates will be implemented in about 20 days

I played some dice with the giveaway but it was not a good experience at all. Every time I changed the multiplier and rolled i got an error saying that i did something wrong and then the roll didnt count either. And then the house-edge is 5% wich is really high for a dicesite!

Thanks for the feedback. Could you show us some screenshots of what exactly was the problem? We would appreciate it if you did because it helps us a lot. We are sorry that you had a bad experience on our site.

Perhaps there a chance the house edge will be reduced?

We will talk about this internally, and may be able to lower it in the site update in around ~1 month. We will likely be removing some redundant games and perhaps adding new ones. If the house edge was to be lowered it will likely come at the time of the site makeover.

We will keep you guys posted, though.

Thanks all for the feedback, really appreciated and it helps our site to grow.

Should probably make the games visible to the public even if they do not currently have an account. As someone suggested maybe have some sort of temporary account with a login url, so that people are able to use that instead of signing up. Gamblers are quite impatient.

Yes. This is something that we are currently working on, and we may be able to implement this in the upcoming makeover.

Also, how about zero confirmation deposits? THat would be a nice feature to have as well.

This could be something to be taken into consideration, however, there will be some risk in accepting 0 confirmations. However we can probably mitigate this by using the Blockcypher confidence scores. We'll take your suggestions into account.

But overall, great site. I love the snake game... The rewards are a bit on the low side, though.

Thanks. You're only going to love it even more once the site update comes in a month or so. So stay tuned Wink

Are the games you have provably fair? If yes than how we can verify it, nothing mentioned in the site about this.

Also what is maximum and minimum bet amount? You should mention all this in atleast ANN post above. Also add ssl certificate to the domain as soon as possible.

try pandadice.com looks better

Please don't spam your site on our thread, please. Plus, it does not look better, at all.

Also want to point out that the withdrawal minimum has been lowered. Lowered it from 0.01 BTC to 0.005 BTC.

Seems that bitcoin price affects the amount of the free faucet, starting from 1000 satoshi down to 100 and now 10 satoshi. I think you should learn from freebitco.in about the free faucet amount that is using $ as the main currency then converted to satoshi so user will always get the same amount in $.

The faucet is still at 100 satoshi. It was never decreased to 10 satoshi.
Some updates: First promo (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/totaldice-double-your-bet-2066445), made a few CSS changes, and the site is now SSL certified!
It doesn't seem to be secured until now, it's still http.
I've seen several sites with this script, don't know if they are still up though. Good luck! Are you maintaining the News and Forum section? It's there but the sites before weren't using it, how about you?

Is it 10 now? It was mentioned 0.000001 (100sats), can't claim and confirm because of the unreadable solve media captcha. Better if OP will be using reCAPTCHA in faucet.

The site does support https, but you would have to type it in manually. It doesn't automatically force https. I'll work on that soon. I will keep updating forums and stuff.

Bitcoin faucet- Claim 0.00001 BTC every hour!

It is not 1000 satoshi anymore, I just claimed the faucet but it gives only 100 satoshi per hour. Not really sure was it really 1000satoshi when you launch it or it is 100 satoshi since start but you made a typo on our announcement.

Yep, it's been changed from 1k satoshi to 100 satoshi per claim.

Also the payout for snake has been lowered as well.

The reasoning from admin is probably because of faucet abuse. Before the snake game was paying out upwards of 0.002 BTC per day per account, and i suspect that a lot of people just abused this opportunity. Likewise with the hourly faucet claims.

I spoke to admin, he told me that he will be updating the site soon with antibot measures. Hopefully this will make the faucet rewards go back up.

Why you should ask him for signing message from his address? I do not think they really needed, as long as they can do they payout, it is really great to see the good payout, but when he tries to scam by not sending players profit, then the site will turn out to be a scam site and no one going to play on their site for sure. This is what I believe

Anyway do you ever saw any site reall sign message from their address? Most site will never truly reveal how much balance they have

When he said that max profit per bet is 1btc, normally he should have 100btc at his wallet as the bankroll. To be honest I doubt that he owns that amount, why? If he owns that amount, he should have better site than what he use now. I think those who ask for him to sign a message is because they doubt about the bankroll like what I think.

I have about ~50 for bankroll. Would it just be better to lower the max profit then?

usually bankroll  is 50-100 times the maximum profit amount allowed
you can leave it at 1 btc,but there is a chance some random whale gets very lucky and cleans the house
on the other hand, max profit under 1 btc is not very appealing to them, they prefer sites like bitsler or primedice to play big
so you are ,probably, going to be safe

I see. I'm planning on just lowering max profit if the bankroll gets lower.

Currently working on implementing some new features and some of the suggestions given here. Will make a new post when the new updates are ready. Be on the look out because the new site is going to be sick.

make sure you run good promotions and have solid backing by your investors
and a bug free site with no problems wit hpayouts-these things are the most important for a mew site
and it is usually an uphil lbattle, there are established sites, with audience and whales
you have to be better at least at something to attract new players and have some old players switch allegiance

a sign message not necessary when certain site managed by a trustworthy party . or the site has well known enough to be trusted. there is no harm to build reputation like this as i believe anything started from zero at some point. just play it with cautious.

Some updates: First promo (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/totaldice-double-your-bet-2066445), made a few CSS changes, and the site is now SSL certified!

First, you need to add a FAQ page to the site with all the necessary details. I can't find how much house edge your site taking and you didn't mention in your post as well. This is a very important piece of information every gambler looks in any new gambling site.

Good point. I know theres a lot to take in. I'll make a FAQ page a priority.

Minimum bet to qualify is 0.0001, but you do not mention the max bet. Does it mean that you are able to pay for big bet? If so, as what have been asked before then you have to prove of solvency to make sure that you have the funds to pay.

Maximum profit per bet is 1 BTC by default. That's the number is would be able to safely cover, even if it happens multiple times. I'm currently working on Proof of solvency.

Exactly my point. With 1BTC max bet, you need to sign a message from address of your control with at least 100BTC. More preferably 300BTC. For Proof of solvency.

Yeah 300BTC sounds like a lot. Especially for a newer site. I'll get the proof of solvency soon when I'm near my wallet. Should the proof be posted on here or on the site itself?

Actually it is not much for some big dice sites, but consider your site is new site, you should need at least 50-100 btc on your wallet. Or may be you can increasing it by opening some investment later. You can do it both, posted it here to let people know so they can see it by joining to your site and to try your site too

I like your site, i do agree that the snake game can be easily gamed by people with malicious intents but since there is a maximum number of games that can be played in one day and you guys seem to be fine with it, i can't really complain.

There is one thing that bothers me, though.

You must have a minimum balance of 0.01 BTC to withdraw your money to your Bitcoin address (set in Profile).

Your account balance is less than 0.01 BTC. Try betting more to increase your account balance so that you can withdraw.

This is around like $32 with the current bitcoin prices. Probably not the best idea to have a faucet site alongside with such a high withdrawal limit. I suggest lowering the limit substantially. If you can't afford to pay the tx fees for everyone then just charge people for instant withdrawals, if they want to get their withdrawals free then they'd have to wait for a batch of transactions(like freebitco.in).

Also, fortune hunter does not work for me and seems to be bugged. I can't see my bet amount.

Adding a chat will also help boost community interest.

Otherwise it's a great site. I would definitely want to be a part of it.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm a little confused as to why it's a bad idea to have a faucet with high withdrawal limit. Are you saying it will be abused more

I just tried Fortune Hunter and it was working fine. Which browser are you using?

As for the chat, we do have one. It's a tab in the bottom right hand side. It wasn't very. Oticeable before so I recently changed and color and the layout of the tab

300 btc is an overkill, even 100 btc is a lot for any new site
also 100x maxbet bankroll is alot for any site,i doubt Primedice has 40*100=4.000 bitcoins liquid
but I agree, prove of solvency is required, your site will not attract any players other than dust players and faucet leechers

i think minimum withdraw in youre site is high, ussualy dice site and majority minimum withdraw only 100k satoshi
how much house edge, i think if promote and create announcment dice site must explain about house edge

show me a single dice site with minimum withdrawal of 100k satoshi, please
before posting random statements, try and study the subject matter
there is not a single one lower than 200k satoshi at the moment, many of them have 300-400k (primedice, for example)

Saw this kind of faucet site so often, with many similar games and design too. I do not know what is so special about it unless you are doing it just to get more traffic on your site to get someone put ads on your site and get this. Other than that, I do not see anything like really gambling game right here. And I believe your house edge on your hi-lo games must be higher too

Nice to see another site getting into the business. It looks very simple but yet its fun. Just one thing though is the high withdrawal limit, how many days before we can withdraw using you faucet? But I think since you are very young, updates will come later as the suggestions come in. Again, goodluck will try to play later if time permits. Goodluck.

There isn't a day limit, but rather a limit on your minimum balance:

Quote
Withdraw
You must have a minimum balance of 0.01 BTC to withdraw your money to your Bitcoin address (set in Profile).

Quote
You earn upto 0.00000001 BTC per block collected, you will be paid for 400 game rounds (at maximum) in a day, and your maximum score per game round can be 0.000005 BTC.

So if you were playing snake(their main faucet game) you can earn 0.002 BTC a day which is not bad at all. But that woudl require you getting perfect scores on every round, and you have to do this for 5 days to withdraw.

I agree with magneto, i think that the withdrawal minimum needs to be lower than this. The industry standard for gambling sites in bitcoin is probably somewhere around 0.001 BTC to 0.002 BTC. I never personally never seen any site that have this high of a minimum for withdrawals.

I like your site, i do agree that the snake game can be easily gamed by people with malicious intents but since there is a maximum number of games that can be played in one day and you guys seem to be fine with it, i can't really complain.

There is one thing that bothers me, though.
Quote

I definitely like the site. designing is great in my opinion, i like the simple site layout, no distractions.

The idea is definitely a new one in my opinion, to combine all the usual sites that bitcoiners go to into one big site. That is a great idea that has a lot of potential if it was to be managed and advertised appropriately.

The thing that i love the most is the snake game, probably. Instead of having just a captcha to be solved you actually put some thought into how to make claiming faucet interesting for newbies - kudos to you and all the best. I'll definitely be following.

Thanks for the kind words

I hate sites where I need to sign-up just to be able to view what it your UI.

And what about withdraws - instant or not? Fees?

Prove of solvency?

Withdraws are instant. We don't charge any fees, but there is a minimum you can withdraw. We do have a "Provably Fair" feature built in.

Prove of solvency mean to sign a message from your cold storage. To prove us that you have funds to pay the winning players. It's not "Provably Fair" feature.

Thanks for clearing that up. Wasn't familiar with that terminology. I'll try to put some kind of proof out tonight

yes, search for zoomdice.com topic here to understand why does the community have concerns about new dice sites
without any proof of solvency, zoomdice was not able to payout pending withdrawals due to his investors withdrawing
the site looks neat, has all the features a modern site should have, but this market is so stalked, not sure what can you offer
to convince people to play at your site, there are titans like primedice, bitsler etc. etc.
how do you plan to beat them in your quest for customers?

just got curious after reading some review here and i think its another type of gambling site which in need of much better advertisement as we knew that
whenever there's a new one pro and  con are always showed up so better handling will be the key point to succeed its too early to give assessment but with the site itself i think its competitive enough to gain visitors. good luck.

I think you have purchased the gambling script from overfeat and just changed few background images. Just a friendly advice for you. People who has used/seen this script earlier knows to easily hack the script. Be careful. Because people who has seen the codes will know the logic of your script and it is risky.  If at all you want to start an online business, better develop your own custom script. If you buy the script, the same script will be used by many and there are chances for your site to be hacked.  Please take care of this security measures.

As said by other users, sign up option is annoying.  Since you have already purchased the script, customize it completely and change the code logic and file names including database names and prefix completely.

This is an overfeat script, you are correct. Security was my number 1 concern when I bought it therefore many things have been customized/secured on the backend. We will be continuously monitoring the site for possible security flaws and will constantly keep updating the site.

I appreciate the tip about not having people sign up. I know it's very convenient to just log one as a guest user and it will be something we will implement soon. For the time being, I have disabled confirmation email to make the process easier.

it is simply amazing how Newbies can shell out cash for used and abused scripts and think the whole world will be flocking to their doorsteps simply because they were able to install it and make it work!

I don't expect everyone to come flocking to this. This is something I decided to do for fun and I'm quite enjoying it. I know all the big sites have a teremendous amount of work put into them but they didn't all start that big. I intend on putting the necessary effort into this as time goes on. At the end of the day, it is still a fully functional gambling site and it's still fun as hell.

I appreciate your confidence.. Good luck!

This is actually a nice site, well designed.

Like the others have said before, it would be nice if you could play right away instead of signing up. Lately gamblers are very lazy.

I also like the Satoshi Snakes, basically reminds me of an old Nokia cellphone I had like 20 years ago.

The only thing I recommend before proceeding further is to get either a loan or some investors to provide the capital. Lately there are too many small sites like yours which are off to a good start but got no funding. And they run out of money and they become labelled as a scam.

So please show some proof of solvency so people can trust that their BTC is safe with your site.

Added a link to verify your rolls in the post. You can also click "Provably Fair" button on the Hi-Lo dice game to verify the rolls.

I appreciate the tip. We are just starting out so we want to get some traffic before we throw a bunch of money at it. We do have some cool features panned, such as Automated Betting and CSS changes. As we grow we will definitely be making more and more improvements.

Also what is maximum and minimum bet amount? You should mention all this in atleast ANN post above. Also add ssl certificate to the domain as soon as possible.

This is just another freebitco.in wanna be site. There were some sites using the same script with this one but no one of them succeed to attract players. A bit surprised you are still trying to build a gambling site with this script while there were some failed sites already.
But good luck, hope you wont be like the previous ones.

Just checked out freebitco.in and it does look pretty similar. May have similar underlying structure as our site but there are definitely a few differences. We hope to continuously upgrade our site to attract more players and give out plenty of incentives along the way.

Currently just working on some marketing to get the traffic flow started.

Nice that you guys have an instant withdrawal and with no fees! Nowadays, there aren't so many casinos that shoulders the fees.
Fortune jack does this too, but now they have high withdrawal minimum at 0.01BTC. I haven't checked yours, I hope it isn't that high.
