Donald Trumps decision on the TPP is a wise choice for America and a curse on Obama and the oligarchs. The oligarchs owns the tv stations and of course this TPP will greatly affect the press also. Though Obama's Administration said that TPP was good for America since this kind of relation with other countries will bring economic development to America in the long term. But if you look at Americas debts this TPP is not good for America nor it has made Americas economy to boom. This time maybe Donald Trumps decision of abolishing the TPP is a wise choice for America.

I think this is expected for President Trump because of his American - centric policy and it is good for America in my opinion. This policy is for the advantage of USA, also Pres Trump wants other jobs to be back in USA but I don't think he can do it on all outsource jobs.I think oligarchs profit is lessen by this policy as they are the one benefiting the TPP.

For the notice I'm all for globalism and free trade.
This pact on particular had some severe issues, starting by how it was made; with secret meetings and under the table stuff; to provide big corps with special and independent justice systems, and to be overall a way for big corps to smash the small guys like cockroaches.

I hope Trump will come up with new deals, openly made and open to public discussion, not oligarchy crap.

This has nothing to do with the press being wrong a million times or some conspiracy about how they change their mind. The press is not one entity.

More than 90% of the news media is owned by the same people.

It is one entity.

I just put the articles as samples. It was a common critic towards both, TPP and TTIP, that it was being dealt in the shadows and designed to favor only big corps against the small guy, its biggest opponents were internal to Obama's party, Democrats, and Lefties in general.
So they didn't like it... until a Republican put it down when it then becomes the best of all treaties.

Looks like the press is again aiming at its own feet! After Trump's sign US out of TPP, the top-secret-made-by-God-knows-who agreement that no one likes;

(ie) http://www.ecowatch.com/trans-pacific-partnership-a-fast-track-to-disaster-1882019360.html

Now, after Trump, it turns to be a "loved by all" treaty...

Credibility, dear sires, where's the credibility?!

Each journalist and news organization has a different take on policy.

You have a link to Ecowatch (what the heck is that?)...probably some opinion blog. And you have a link to a Guardian article. Those two comparisons aren't similar enough to be used as a comparison at all!

The credibility, dear sir, is found by comparing the opinions of one journalist (not to mention an entire news organization). Comparing two different organizations is just plain meaningless.

The press has only been wrong a million times over the elections.

How many times must the press be proven wrong before people begin to question it?
