Im big fan of trading platforms. I have experienced, used, registered on various trading platforms but I have not seen a single website not taking charges from you. Moreover, if someone do really tells you that there are websites which do not take fees then probably that one is fake and scam. For a website to run smoothly it carries lot of charges, hosting, cloud backups, site maintenance, so I don't think there will be any website providing you free of charge services. On top of this there might be platforms which will tell you they don't take fees, but they will get some commission from your earnings for sure. So nada, no site like that. :-)

There are not sites that do not fees transaction because the website is needs money to run the website,
the exchangers has cost must be paid every months.
And it is had by all of exchangers in the world, they need money too as profit and for pay the bill
so there are not something like that.

It is impossible to have a trading sites that do not charge a fee in doing transactions like buy and sell and also in doing withdrawals. Fees in trading site is one of the things that make the sites strong, because fees serves as an income to them which they use it to maintain the site and use it as a fund in doing other type of progress in their site like improving their site or having a new feature. Fees is always required and it's impossible to have a site that does not charge.

Impossible? No it is not, If I remember it correctly there is an exchange site from Indonesia named vip.bitcoin.co.id that does not charge any fees on trading btc to altcoins vice versa but they only charges fees on btc-fiat trades. The bad thing is that there is only few altcoins available on the markets (less than 10alts) and of course the rate is lower than other trading sites like bittrex/poloniex.
The fees at every transaction are needed to pay up the costs of trades execution, servers costs, and to pay salaries to cryptocurrency exchange team.
Exchange without fees would have to pay for their customers to give them an option of selling and buying different cryptos. Good samaritans like that does not exist.

Every single company has to generate profit, to be working.
If it is not giving profits but losses, there are two ways- change the weak parts in the business plan, or just give up and slowly bankrupt.
You cannot expect getting something for free, you need to get used to paying fees: both for blockchain transactions, and exchange operations.
Yes fees are required and they are being use to pay the expenses of the sites like the maintenance, server, and the salary of the moderators, admins and the other part of their team that maintaining the site very well. Almost all the kind of things in world not just by sites are paid by money and we can't deny that because those free things are very rare now.

I don't think that now any site exchange is exists which is not charging for the fee , actually it is a good thing for the traders at that exchange Because handle a site is really a costly thing for the own .
Especially to keep the security of these exchange sites. It cost a lot of the money to keep the exchange sites are safe from any criminal activities.
Second thing here I will advice that never withdraw your bitcoin in small small amount always make withdraw monthly in bulk , so that you can't face problem of paying charge that costs for you to loss 2-3$ monthly .
This time the reliable fees are unpredictable, it seems the fees is really high for the transaction below $10.
The micro traders shouldn't withdraw his money earlier. Use the little fees will actually put the transaction on the queue with unlimited time.

thanks for elaborating those information its really helpful especially for those newcomers it will help them to realize the importance of those things especially with OP's question transaction fee is really needed by the exchange owners not only to pay the services but also to secure their business and also to earn some percentage coming from the transactions.

I don't think that there are sites who do not charge fees because if those sites will not requires fees then there business or site will be nonsense because that is how they generate income from charging fees on withdraw or even on sellin or buying a coin. So it is nearly impossible for a site to not charge a fee even it is small or big.
agree if those exchanges site are no fees their business is nonsense why? We build business to earn money so who people create that no fees for exchanging site. Why trade site have fees? To recover or to restore what the site problems in the futurw and for the many updates. In this generation you can only see little free but most of them are need money before work. It depends of how much you sell or you buy the fees. If you buy or sell high ofcoarse fees if high and low you buy or sell the fees is only low.

There's no exchange or trading site that doesn't have transaction fee because transaction fee is the only way to earn from making a trading site, no one will ever make a trading site that you put your all effort in just for fun or to help peoples to exchange money, The reason why developers make that site to earn money from Withdrawal fees and Transaction fees, As you see many of exchange sites don't have advertisement spot because they already earn a huge profit from fees.

Think about the profit that they earn, Example:
10,000,000 users in your exchange site and the fees for every 1million satoshi transaction is 10,000 satoshi,
10,000,000 x 10,000 = 100Billion satoshi every 0.01 Traansaction and think how many BTC transacts everyday.

Yeah, one more thing why are you looking for no fees? Strong and reliable crypto currency sites are charging fees. I am a website owner and we are paying for what we called domain name and webhosting fees. Crypto currency site eat a lot of website resources, bandwidth, payment for website admins.

Just try to imagine: 0.15%, 0.25% is so small, than paypal: 2.9% plus $0.30 USD

Yeah, those trading sites are getting their income by the fees charged in every transaction. These fees, they are using in order to maintain the good service of their sites. Usually it is not that high and I found it reasonable since you are getting profit and you are using their platform. As what is said above, there are lots of things to be paid for when you are owning a website, and there is no other way to get those expenses by charging them fees. Otherwise, those sites that does not offer fees are those scam once or they are also trading ang manipulating the price of the coin they are offering to trade.

I agree, a trading site in which does not charges such fee won't last since they do not have a source of income in order to maintain their site and to process the transaction being made in every trade. Paypal charges larger percentage since a trader pays tax to government which in crypto currency, traders do not do since it is not in the control of the government yet it's legal.

But once they have accumulated huge users, for sure they will. See the link from my sig.

Besides Chinese platforms, there's only Whaleclub that doesn't charge trading fees at the moment. The Chinese had no fees because they had massive volumes, and in order to limit the influence of the whales and improve liquidity, they introduced the trading fees.

all exchange sites had their own average percentage of transaction fees, it is ridiculous that some of the trading platform don't have the fee for each transaction. What if the exchange get a problem with the maintenance, something like that.

They were not free til now, They were just getting their money by increasing and decreasing the rate of Buy and sell. Now they can't do that openly so they started taking fees. They have to take fees to let their company run properly. Every exchange charges as the value of Bitcoin and popularity is high now.

Bitcoin.co.id has chance for trading with zero fees if we trade bitcoin to fiat (IDR) maker order
and never taker order on there is mean free fees,
there are altcoins be traded on there all of trading altcoins are free there are not fees
although we become taker or maker order.

No I don't think there are such sites who operates trading platform that does not collect fees. If so, I think you have to stay away and don't invest your coins there because it is likely a scam.

They should collect fees to make their service at best. It is usually 0.2% or 0.02% every transaction. It is to maintain their good service and other manitenance for that site. It is reasonable because that was not that large fee compared to the profit you are making in trading.
Actually trading on bitcoin.co.id is not free fees, but we have chance for getting free fees,
if we trade with maker order and not taker, but on altcoins trading is free fees,
bitcoin.co.id is not scam website almost all of users bitcoin on Indonesia trading on there.
For the detail about the fees you can check on there https://help.bitcoin.co.id/

I have used several exchanges for trading and they all have charged fees. They need to collect fees to make their profits and to run the website and provide security.
But have late to used the Chinese exchange before PBOC has done a survey for those exchange site. and most of them are not having the charge fees.

I never encountered a trade site that doesn't charge a fee, the fee is the one that makes the site alive, so if the site doesn't charge fee then their option will earn from ads which is really bad for a trading sites, that is why all of the site i trade charge fee

Same here because this percentage fee  is the sites commission. That is the way they earn their income and also the charged the devs for their coin to be listed. This fees goes to sites maintenance, salary for staff and so forth. In addition theses exchages is also an investment and owners must also gained from it.

They need to have fee of some sort in order to survive the cost of maintaining a trading website. If there is not fee and it is not P2P, beware, it might suddenly close one day and runaway with your funds. Most trading sites collect very small fees anyway that you almost do not notice them at all.

Standard fee of any trading platform is 0.20% and some may offer lower than that according to trading volume you have with them. Chinese exchanges used to have 0% fee to pump their trading volume before but after PBOC investigation they have also started taking standard trading fee, so i am quite sure there is no any single exchanger which offer 0% trading fee.

It is difficult to believe there is going to be an exchange that lets you use their platform without a cost since they are a business and they have to make earning somehow, so instead of looking an exchange like that look for a reputed exchanger.

No there are no any exchanger with 0% fee on trading, to run any trading platform it will require a lot of resources and fund, without trading fee there is no any source of income for them. So if you see some platform that promote themselves as trading platform with no any trading fee than better be careful about them, either they will run away or will have many hidden fees inside.

There is no single trade site which did not charge a transaction fee, because if they don't charge fee then how will they earn money? And i guess transaction fee is not that much high and i think you shouldn't be afraid of transaction fee. May be these chinese trading sites promote their sites that's why they didn't charge any fee for transaction.

Honestly, this is the first time that I heard a exchanger that doesn't charge a fee. The reason for this is either the site just wants

to spread awareness or they are just plainly good people which is hard to believe. The fees from its users are the ones that keeps

it running. Same reason I could think of on why the said site in OP charged a fee.

I'm always fascinated from english threads Cheesy

Everybody only posts his own opinion without reading any of the previous comments (which would show that there is an exchange without trading fee and also explanation how they can still profit):

As far as I know, Chinese trading sites did not charge a transaction fee. They have recently begun to charge transaction fees.
Are there any trade sites that do not charge a transaction fee?
A transaction is moving funds in or out of an exchange. So I doubt you mean "transaction fee", I guess you mean "trading fees" ?

If so, then you can try "www.coinfloor.co.uk/". They recently changed strategy to charge high fee on fiat transactions, while trading fee is 0.
So if you deposit/withdraw USD or EUR, you pay ~ 0.38% fee, but trading back and forth is free of charge.

I am not aware of any such site that does not charge fees and I would advise you not to go with such site because if you are not paying for something then you will not be able to get customer status of that sites and thus in case of trouble (such as losing your funds or delaying withdrawal) you won’t be able to appeal under customer tag so I would honestly recommend you to go with paid exchanges.

I think no trading site that doesn't have fee, because every trading site is need fee for them to have profit. Every trading site was created for them to have a large amount of money or profit because every transactions that their traders made it must have a fee for the trading site became strong and to last long. For overall I think no trading site don't fee their transactions.

As far as I know, Chinese trading sites did not charge a transaction fee. They have recently begun to charge transaction fees.
Are there any trade sites that do not charge a transaction fee?

I don' think there is any trade site that does not charge fees. If someone tells you that they are not charging fees, then you should know that there is a way they are recovering their money because they have costs to cover. Most of them charge through spreads that you might not realize yourself unless you are an expert.
Your statement is contrary. OP doesn't look into the other element among the fees. Read the whole of the news in the bitcoin site news and get your answer. I already put one above you if you're not lazy to read it.  Roll Eyes

Only on some promotions you can expect an exchange to provide such a benefits like no trading fees. (But fortunately some run these promotions for years).

Practically it will be impossible for any trading sites to offer such no fee facility as it must be one of their prime income generation methods, so by leaving off it how they could sustain in running those business.

So if you deposit/withdraw USD or EUR, you pay ~ 0.38% fee, but trading back and forth is free of charge.

i am not sure about this but in my opinion, all of the market sites have a transaction fee but the fee is not the same between one sites to another sites. because with this fee, they can use it for many purpose like maintain the sites, pay the employee or anything so i think every market sites will charge for every transaction that traders make.

I don't know why you are looking for such service.. just because of reduce 20K satoshi? if you trade on a site and earn profit. what is wrong to pay them some small amounts to cover their expenses?
sorry but I never saw any free of cost exchange. no I think it is needed. if there come any than be warn that site will be a scam.

You told him my friend, he wish to make profit and to not pay few cents for that. Probably OP wish to start trading with coins from faucets and for that reason he find that fees are too high, for 20 000 sat he need to work all day on several faucets.
If you ever find exchange without fees be aware that is possible scam that is my opinion too. There is no free things in this world.

These services have to have a fee to operate. How else would they stay in business?
Thats what i also want to know because those kind of business are getting profits on those fees that they impose and if it happens that theres no fees then they are just giving free service? Exchange or trading site do really need lots of funds to build one and its just a nonsense thing for they dont impose fees.I didnt hear such one.

One way to know which exchanges have no trading fees is by checking their status on coinmarketcap.com. Apparently, there are still some exchanges without fees, they are the last of the list and are marked with an asterisk: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/#markets
thanks for sharing. I didn't knew that. but the question is are these trusted and legit? I would still prefer to pay some small fee instead of using any unkown exchange which offers no trading fee.

Kinda unusual for a trading exchange to run and operate continously without a fee unless there is kind hearted owner of the said exchange site who will do that but it's not possible.

Im sure none of the trading sites today doesn't have a transaction fee. It's unusual to the highest level.

did not = past tense. they no longer offer this.
it was OkCoin and another one that i am not sure about. and they were offering 0 fees on bitcoin/CNY pair for a very long time and since they had other ways of earning money it was ok for them.

and by the way it wasn't transaction fee it was trading fee, these are two different things.

After the recent inspection on the bitcoin exchanges most of the Chinese bitcoin exchange BTCC, okcoin and few others have implemented transaction fee of about 0.2% on the transaction volume. So these days no exchanges are running without transaction fee.

only exchanger open promote can open transaction without fee
Yes you are right I also think there is no trading site that does not charge a transaction fee because surely they will need the profits from the fee. I never see any sites that do not charge a transaction fee, if there maybe just charged on coin that has little interest.

For me its hard to believe that there have any trading site exist in this world free to offer their service. If you do decide to use their service surely carries charge of transaction fees.Trading site must get income from their service if they want to be survived on their business actually none of the business can't survive without collecting any fees.

First, none will ever make a site that will not be profitable to them, what will be their reason to make that site, out can't say that he just want to help people that's why he made a trading site without charging fees. It has fees though you just can't feel it because it is not that really high,

In order for a service to continue working It has to charge fees to pay the developers , server costs and marketing. If you want to use something that doesn't charge any fees then It should be decentralized and P2P , Its far from being perfect at the moment but BitSquare.io could really do the job. You can also look to trade with individuals on the forums instead of looking for a site to do that.
