because they used to be better, and I seriously hope they will revert back to that state?
I mean, even with tradehill catting mails to /dev/null, using them is still better than getting goxed.

Welcome back, Tradehill!

Seriously why the fuck would anyone want them back when they can't even be bothered to respond to emails or let their customers know exactly what's going on ?

just to put that poll ad absurdum - I just received my money I withdrew to my paxum card earlier this week. seems like tradehill is getting things sorted out!

Welcome back, Tradehill!

Maybe they got enough new deposits to process your withdrawal? Tongue

I am now worried about gox, but if gox fails so does bitcoin...
If both the above happen Crypto X Change will still be here Goat! We are here for the long haul.
Crypto X Change

Word! So, will other new xchanges. As we say in Russia, "Cвятo мecтo пycтo нe бывaeт!" "A holy place doesn't remain empty!"  Smiley

One has to keep in mind that Bitcoin started before MtG, and not the other way around. So, MtG failure will not equal Bitcoin failure...

Tradehill had some bad luck but I jumped ship as soon as they stopped using dwolla and failed to send me a check. I am now worried about gox, but if gox fails so does bitcoin... Sure hope they get their shit together:(

Sorry but badluck is one thing, but not answering any emails for days/now even weeks, is absolutely unacceptable.

I would recommend that you NEVER deal with a bitcoin business that does not have a telephone number.  And especially for an exchange, it is inexcusable not to have a phone number.  A real businessperson will want to answer the phone when there are problems, not hide behind an e-mail address that is never answered like Jered at Tradehill has done.

So far my experience with Crypto X Change has been very positive.  They are very quick to respond to questions or concerns and they are efficient.

Hey this poll is almost over!  At this point only one person says Jered is a good guy and there is rampant speculation that his wife voted.

Last chance to vote.

Poll shows the tide turning against Jered.  Too bad we have these fly-by-night operations ruining the wonderful concept of bitcoin.  I am out of Tradehell now- I did multiple BTC withdrawals under 80 coins each, and moved some to Crypto X Change to give them a try.

I guess Jered isn't paying attention.  Jered this is what happens when you don't communicate.  The best business advice I ever heard was from Les Brown:

"When things go bad, don't go with them."

You don't choose how troubles occur but you choose how you deal with them.  Burying your head in the sand is worthless Jered.  Learn to communicate!  Stop making promises and just tell us what is going on.

I just don't see how you think you are doing the right thing for yourself or your business or your customers by hiding like a small child.

Let's see how Jered is doing with his communications.  After all, that is the mark of a leader in crisis, right?
