Some weeks ago I complained too about Trade.io as you can see here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.41644006
I reported one of the posts with a link to the topic but it still labeled as unhandled but I do admit it's not easy to handle it for the mods as it wasn't a strong proof just a strong evidence

Yes, I saw your post regarding trade.io shilling on this forum, I even try to contradict specially on delivering the project by May. (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.43216936). But I wouldn't be surprised if they did pay a bunch to shills as they have been caught before using this kind of services (Ann Bumping thread). ICO SPAMMERS EXPOSED --> NEW SELF-MODERATED THREAD.

Sometimes reports go unhandled. Maybe, because the staff members who have have the permissions to deal with it don't know what the right course of action would be or there could be a few other reasons. You could always report it again if you think it needs to be removed.

The thing is ICOs are now going the route of hiring people via external sites like Fiverr, and other similar type of websites so its not always public information, and can be somewhat hard to prove. In that case we can only deal with the users that we find are spamming it, and not prove that the project owners are behind it.

5 days ago, Trade.io opened up its trading platform (originally slated for May), however the price continued to plummet from as high as $1.70-$0.15 as of the moment. So its pretty obvious that they are spamming the hell out of the forum to create another hype on their platform.

Although, this might look like its the case. There's no actual proof of this. Normally, these types of advertisement spams are offering a reward to its users rather than spamming themselves because its much more efficient. Plus, because there's several accounts which have been registered for a few months, and have suddenly started posting the advertisement spam I think that they may well be offering some sort of bonus.

I haven't researched in enough depth to see if this is the case yet though.

Could be, but its hard to proved, although they are offering airdrops:

Grin possible that one requirements though is to spam this forum before getting the bounties. hehehehe.

I'm not too sure on the motivations behind it right now. But, it seems that existing accounts which have never spammed these types of messages have been doing it too. Makes me think that there's some type of reward for doing it. I'm not sure, I haven't been able to look into it in depth yet.

What's all with the Trade.io spam that has been going for few weeks now? I believe they had a successful ICO so I don't even want to think that they hired these bots and at the same time, I don't see why would someone do this If they were not asked to by the trade.io team? I'm not sure If there is a list of banned words or URLs but It would probably be a good idea to make topics that contain 'Trade.io' in title impossible to create.
