They have gone, stolen all the funds they locked users out of. The best thing you can do is to complain to the police (specialist cyber crimes unit) in your country and then complain to the Hong Kong law enforcement agencies because that was the final place where Tradesatoshi scammers were registered.

Though it is very slim, that would be the only way you have any chance to retrieve your funds.

I think not enough. It was SCAM Exit - "10 days".
I've lost 10kUSD on this scam-exchange and don't know how to even e-mail admin...

Where is contact? Where is support? 10 days and good bye - IT IS TOTALLY SCAM!! And we shall call the police, not just spread the word around 5 threads of bitcointalk...

Hello everyone as you now in last months TradeSatoshi stop withdraw at different coins making difficult for user to withdraw their money.
..

They are going out of business Tradesatoshi is closing down - withdraw funds before 1. March
I am rather doubtful about this "withdraw before 1. March" possibility, now is his website in maintenance.

edit: Now I see, you spam all topics about Tradesatoshi, don't need to do in that way. Once is enough

Thank you for the link.

It is quite sad really knowing that article is over 7 months old but Tradesatoshi are still scamming - they have not been shut down by the authorities.

Users in our community are frustrated their coins have been locked up on this exchange since the unannounced and sudden mandate for additional verification.

I have received reports from folks who had been successful in completing the KYC / AML requirements.
I have also received reports from folks who did not have their accounts flagged and are able to still use the service without submitting to additional BSA related nonsense.

Other users, who were smart enough not to share their personal information with Trade Satoshi initially - found that despite completing the verification in good faith, they remain locked out of their account because the initial personal details did not precisely match the provided identity documentation.

DON´T USE THIS EXCHANGE, IT IS SCAM, GOOGLE "Tradesatoshi bitcointalk" AND SEE!

ps. sorry about caps, but everybody need see it! and some in same country should call the police for that guys.

Sadly it is an all too common practice that scammer exchanges use when buying time and to extend the pain and stress to users, they ask for KYC and then claim it is not correct and needs further "investigation" but the reality is they are selective scamming users.

The reputation of Tradesatoshi will never recover from this. It is dead but is being dragged along by its owners to try to scam as many users as possible while still "operating" as an exchange as a front/excuse to carry out its scam with the end aim of an exit strategy.

Sure from time to time genuine users or sock-puppets or paid shills will post here and compliment the service they received at Tradesatoshi but in the end the aim of the owners seems to selective scam as many users as they can before they mass scam and exit. When will it happen?

Users of that exchange site should be very careful with their holdings.
Might want to transfer their funds to better exchanges.
I was a user of tradesat also before but the last experience I had with them, made me think not to use that exchange ever again.
My bitcoin withdrawal took almost 2 weeks before I received it on my wallet.
And the reason why? They use a very small tx fee so it was almost ignored by the miners.

Thank you for the post.

You had the good fortune of getting funds on to your wallet with a long delay but many are not getting anything even months later and instead are having their accounts frozen under the false guise of "investigations".

I agree, users of that exchange should move their funds out immediately if they are able to because they might not get another chance to withdraw.

I will just quote this post here. Purely to give a clearer picture of what we can expect from this exchange.

The same guy is the founder of Tradesatoshi and Cryptopia exchange - Adam Clark https://twitter.com/landofcrypto/status/1131899681473290240?s=20
I think it is enough information about them.
Also, he founded a new one Assetylene https://decrypt.co/7132/cryptopia-hack-liquidation-new-exchange

If that claim is true it spells bad news and sad news for all investors.

Should investors give up now on any hope of retrieving any of their funds?

What is the latest news with Tradesatoshi selectively scamming users?

Are there any more complaints from new users about being scammed by Tradesatoshi?

They seem to be selective scamming new users rather than longer established ones.

Yep, new complaints about old problems in the Twitter comments every day:

https://twitter.com/TradeSatoshi/status/1149227186504605698
https://twitter.com/elitecurrency/status/1148494170262245376
https://twitter.com/TradeSatoshi/status/1148143059961405440

Here's one of my favorites:

Too bad they didn't have a high-profile signature campaign for other DTs to lambaste... cough cough  Roll Eyes They've scammed dozens or hundreds of bitcointalk users, yet still no flag for them.. Whatever.

With complaints piling up so fast Tradesatoshi will be shutting up shop before the end of the year 2019

Most on here will no be able to access that because Tradesatoshi blocks twitter accounts when you ask them why they are stealing your funds. Scamming POS exchange and the perfect example of  why crypto is a scammer paradise. Don't trust any coin that lists on Tradesatoshi

I would highly recommend that you stop trading with
@TradeSatoshi
If your account info is even slightly incorrect, you lose everything.

They say: Sorry at the moment we don't cater User's updating their information.

So you cant get your account verified, therefore you cant trade or withdraw your crypto, what a great way to scam people.

If your suffering the same issues, please retweet this and tag @tradesatoshi

I can't as I have been blocked for speaking out.

Disgraceful behaviour by Tradesatoshi as a form of selectively scamming users.

I hope they are investigated by the police in the legal jurisdiction they are in (Hong Kong) and get shut down so they no longer pose a threat to investors.

TradeSatoshi has nothing to UK now. It was dissolved in UK on July 2018, newly registered in Hong Kong and has much staff from Venezuela - that can possibly point to the real owner.

If they get away with scamming users, the owners need to be exposed..I mean, users need to send in passports, fotos, sensitive info but no where can you find out who owns the exchange or who is responsible for support.

Their TOS say they are subject to HK law.

My fund was stolon from trade satoshi exchange in 2017. I just deposit 1280 ACChain (ACC) coin worth of 1000$+ but long time i didn't log in my account. Than suddenly i see ACC coin is delisting than i trying to withdraw my token but several times they cancelled withdrawal request and i make ticket to connect support but i didn't get any respond.

That is typical scam behaviour.

When conducting scams the exchanges use any tactic possible just to including delaying and ignoring users.

I am sorry to hear about the way you lost over $1000 at Tradesatoshi. I hope more and more people learn about the truth and stop using Tradesatoshi scammer exchange.

If you keep any big sum of coins on an exchange, you're almost more at fault than the exchange. How many pwned exchanges does it take for people to realize to get their coins immediately off the exchange once your done trading.

exactly my thoughts , the users who keep large amounts of coins anywhere but their cold wallets are risking too much
and especially after this many scams/"hacks" , people never learn
on the other hand it doesn't change the fact that scamming others is bad and I hope tradesatoshi is not another bunch of scamming female reproductive organs

It's not that 'people never learn', there are always new people keep coming into the space, when one learns there is another who is new and falls for the scam (and then learns).

I agree that it is not wise to keep more than you can afford to lose on an exchange but that doesn't make it right for an exchange to lock users out of accounts, force unreasonable kyc all of sudden and simultaneously announce a bunch of coin delistings.

I guess we will see if they are simply just  "another bunch of scamming female reproductive organs" Grin

It’s sad when this kind of things happen and honestly it’s not a good thing to experience. The best thing to do is to just avoid this kind of exchanges that can wake up tomorrow and be no where to be found. Even though TradeSatoshi has been here  for quite a while and I feel they still have mind of being here  for long so they might probably want to defend this and give an explanation to it.

I hope you are right. That was my feeling as well but so far asking normal civilized questions on twitter will get you banned and many users are having to force kyc without any notice and they are locking accounts- that is not good practice.  Lets see if they are around in a few months.

Sharing personal information with any exchange is not advisable. There are exchanges that do not assk fo any KYC Ex: CoinSwitch, Bitmex etc., buy and trade anonymously.

I dont find any point in share my details.

I agree, depending on the type of information and how much how it you are sharing, also depending on the exchange itself - Is it really trustable?.

Other platforms have done the same to their users in and out of Bitcoin, seems like common practice. However, unless something really fishy is going on i don't agree and wouldn't support those practices at all.

It heavily depends on how many users and the actual why, looking deep inside the issue to be sure. That could take some time.

Tradesatoshi support was bad since they opened their exchange and everyone complaint about it so there is no surprise now they are not replying to your messages accusing them of scamming you. You should have avoided this exchange in the first place since they are not licensed and the trading volume on their website was very low which proves a lot of people don't trust it

So that is an excuse to lock out users and force very suspect kyc policy without warning on users. And honestly who knows how they will use that information.

I suspect they are doing it only to users with balances worth taking or balances with coins they wish to delist, but that is only speculation but the timing seems suspicious. Regardless it really stinks what they are up to, ask the fellow below who can't access his account all of a sudden even while jumping through their kyc BS hoop.

Is the lesson in crypto... "if you are dumb to have an exchange lock you out of your account and take funds, then you deserve it"? Crypto truly has a toxic culture. But thanks for the advice.

There is a section, but we cannot move it there, only you or the moderators (if they find the thread by chance and decide to do it) can. Just go down to the end of the first page of the thread, and you'll see the 'move topic' button in the left corner. Press it and move the topic to Scam accusation (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0) or Reputation (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=129.0). I honestly don't know where this thread belongs better, but it's probably reputation board for now.
I think this exchange had a solved scam accusation before, so they probably care about their reputation and won't risk losing it by scamming people: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/tradesatoshicom-scam-fraud-be-aware-solved-2202795.

Established exchanges require high fees so coins go to lower tier exchanges such as tradesatoshi, stex and they take advantage of that (stex is rebrand of stocks.exchange where there were also complaints of doing shady things with user's funds)

Lock out users that have a balance of coins you want to delist, delist coins and take coins. Simple. Click the other link and read the thread. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1691388.400

Support wont answer and if you use discord, they will ban you and if you ask any questions on twitter, you get banned as well or blocked ( i would show the screenshot of being blocked on twitter but I can't upload it here).

Below is the Tradesatoshi forum with complaints on other being locked out all of a sudden.
