Thanks guys, I've registered on bittrex and so far it seems fairly understandable. Plus, a minimum order is 0.0005 which is quite all right. One has to send some btc from the wallet onto this exchanger to start, am I right? 'cause obviously I see that I have zero balance right now.  I sort of understand how to get the money onto the website. But what is min withdraw from it? I can't see it anywhere.
You need not send BTC for starting at bittrex. You can send any altcoin that is supported at this exchanger.
There is no withdraw minimum. But it must be higher than the transactions fee.
To get money out of bittrex, just go to wallet balance and click on the "-" of that coin you want to withdraw.

I wouldn't risk my coin for storing into exchange wallet, I feel better to use lightweight wallet like jaxx, they have famous coin wallet list, you plan to doing long-term trading by holding the coin, I think choose a coin like dash, zec is fit for you, don't choose new coin.

For exchange, I used bittrex, polo, cryptopia and my local exchange. So far transaction goes well.

I have been using poloniex and bittrex over three years . Never occur any serious problem since I'm using them instead I'm prefer mintpal on the past over them.
But they are proven trusted and long run exchanger I've ever know

Bittrex is the best place for trading altcoins and rarely has issues, the gui is easy to pick up as well.

I would suggest for you to trade in Bittrex if you want a good trading site to start with. It is safe and easy to use to and there are new coins also that can be traded there.

Hi. I have tried buying and storing coins (ltc and eth) and so far it was quite a nice investment. However, as I consider them being good long-term, I don't really gain money out of such investments. I simply hold it. That's why I am planning to try trading coins, perhaps I might become good at it and earn some money this way. I thought that traders get wallets for all the coins they have and this was a big obstacle for me, because I hate dealing with new wallets. Then I realized an obvious thing: exchange websites are actually used for regular trading, because one doesn't need to create wallets for currencies there. What website would you recommend to start trading? I heard about Kraken, Yobit, Poloniex but from time to time something happens with every exchanger and it's hard for me to decide which is more trustworthy. Apart from that, I want to start trading using small amounts of money, something around $10. Thus I need a website where it is possible to buy small amounts of coins and withdraw small sums (about $30) in btc as well.
