Interesting video. I wonder though, can you really use these Bitmex data in live trading? The guy is showing us the Bitmex open interest indicator along with liquidation data but he is doing that in hindsight. What I've learned the hard way is that, when you look back in time, it is super easy to identify these entries and it all looks smooth and easy. However, it is very hard to repeat that in live trading and identify these entry points because you never know whether these massive liquidations will lead to reversal or to continuation of trend. So I would like to see something like that video only in live trading this time.

OK, this is something more concrete but also hindsight. I see it is an example of reversal trading. I don't like trading reversals, and I don't like trading the short time frames, but it might be worth a shot as the guy is really convincing and gives a concrete strategy. He is trading the extremely short 1m chart, so I guess you have to be really quick in your analysis. I'll keep this in mind and maybe try it down the road to see if it works for me.

Did I understand it correctly that TensorCharts provides these Bitmex indicators for free?

Anyways, thanks for the useful link.

Catching the massive liquidations will help you to understand the market sentiment and you can use this information in live day trading. Also this toll can be useful if price comes near the major support or resistance level.

This tool is very good, in fact, I do not have the pay version, but in its statistics you can see the amount of liquidations that occur through the bitmex botx, they also show the volumes of operations ... Many friends, have the paid version, and it is very interesting because it allows to have a volume profile, which gives you an idea, in which price levels are being negotiated more, however for Bitmex it is very good to follow the statistics since they have percentages of settlements when they enter by 25x, 50x and 100x.

I am actually not sure that the historical chart of bitcoin can be used as a basis for market recovery, although theoretically based on the technical analysis it is justified. But the liquidity on each trader chart must be different, then what makes the history of bitcoin trading a role model for traders today.
