I wrote my own bot which looks for specific setups before executing a series of trades. It doesn't make huge gains, but it rarely loses. I'm slowly giving it more funds to play with.

Now, if everyone was running a similar bot wouldn't the market collapse? Or would we all just end up seesawing as everyone's bots bought and sold?

Hi there,

Because of the trolling I understand some measures had to be taken to prevent it, however I've been here since 2011, and I feel stupid to go through this process. Anyway.. here goes my first post! *hooray*

If was interested in a trading bot, but had some questions about it.

Who of you tried using a trade bot?
Whats your experience with it?
Have you made any profit using such bots?

That's it, I hope I get some relevant replies in this section  Wink

I had an arbitrage bot for a while, trying to either exploit differences in prices between exchanges or negative spreads. My experience was negative because of slippages (ie: delayed execution) and turned it off with a negligible profit.

Me

Two days

No

I'll give it more time, check the results and perhaps change the settings. Eventually I'll write a review, but it's much too soon.

Which bot have you been using?

I had a look around a while back to see if I could find a btc-e trading bot but was unsuccessful.
Seems to me like there is a log of scamming going on (Not surprising really considering the $$ now involved)

If you find any I would love to hear about it.

When you say trading bot I think of the speculation (sub)forum.
What I read there is a common "don't use bots, do it yourself for more control"
But then again, that might be me misunderstanding sarcasm...
