if by QT trader you mean this thing: https://github.com/JulyIGHOR/QtBitcoinTrader
then it is an open source project with an "active" developer. it seems to already have Charts and if you want an additional option you can either open up a new issue on github if you have an account or contact him on bitcointalk (https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/ighor-116332) which he seems active enough to answer.
