Hi Members,

just an update concerning PremiumCodeX who is under Scam Investigations:

Stay healthy and take care of yourself.
You shouldnt bump this thread just to say about accusations.Better to post on that thread itself than on this place, you are just simply grave digging.

Also PremiumCodeX had responded on that one which is a valid point and you can see that there are neg feedbacks that had been put up.

You did NOT follow our instructions.
You refused to sign a message with your key.
You did not migrate your account when we asked you.
You figured lies about us asking for new deposits to proceed.
And you betrayed us.

Its just normal that you would really be experiencing problems once you dont agree nor followed on whats been asked or required.

He said, using API from a popular exchange but to track every participant who joined the competition did we need to give your personal account API Trade to him? Everyone will think it not safe to give your API to a random guy.

When you generate API key you are choosing permissions for this particular api key. It can be info only, trading only, withdrawal only, all together and many other different options. So you can safely enable others to see your trades as long as you know what you are doing handling you API keys.
Lots of apps collect info only API keys from clients (f.e. Crypto App, Blockfolio, CoinTracker)
After competition you can terminate your API key. So its pretty safe and easy to organize such competition with a little of coding. But as I said ... i doubt there will be much traffic in this.

- If this plant-based on your own, how you can track the competition?
"I could monitor the participants with API on a popular trading platform"
I'm still confused about which API he was referring.

He said, using API from a popular exchange but to track every participant who joined the competition did we need to give your personal account API Trade to him? Everyone will think it not safe to give your API to a random guy.

IMO, held a competition trading with personal people not gonna interested at all and everyone not gonna joined still have so many issue about :
- Trust issue.
- Tracking.
- Other things.

Everyone will be always more secure when the competition held by some exchange because they can handle all thing on their internal system

Anyway, a few questions want to ask about your plant to held competition trading :
- If this plant-based on your own, how you can track the competition?
- Using real money or not ?

All these answers were already provided in post quoted by you...

"on a popular trading platform"

@OP
I doubt that there will be much traffic in such competition.

I am sorry for twisting the original topic where I wanted to join a competition, but as you say, since competitions are so rare in number, I wonder what if I started organizing competitions here on Bitcointalk?

I could monitor the participants with API on a popular trading platform and stream the performance into a Bitcointalk thread.

To the winners I could offer valuable trading tool licenses as reward besides the trivial benefits of attention / promotion.

What do you think? Would people be interested?
Sure you can!
But, IMO everyone will be always interested if the prize was money but maybe you can try with your reward offer.

Anyway, a few questions want to ask about your plant to held competition trading :
- Where we trade for the competition, did you represent some exchange?
- If this plant-based on your own, how you can track the competition?
- Using real money or not ?

This kind of event mostly held by a new exchange, there is no event with zero deposit for some exchange who already running a long time ago. Sometimes the reason, why new exchange held an event like this.
- Attract costumer.
- Promotion.
- To tested all of their features.

Everyone will start in the same times, and you will trade with demo account the highest fund at the end of the competition will be win. But, off course since the exchange was pretty new your chance of getting paid was really small too.

You cannot find any event like this regularly, this event pretty rare.

Do you know about any competition where I can join with no deposit?

Some new exchange cryptocurrency projects usually have that event, they offer anyone who signs up on their platform a bonus balance and anyone who benefits from it can be pulled into your wallet. You just have to hunt it, I've found it. However, as the event was over.

Do you know about any competition where I can join with no deposit?

There are trading competitions and most likely to those who do offer no deposit are the ones that do make out some own token trading competition. So far

i havent seen one that do offer no deposit but you do able to win some prize.Try to search up with some articles or blog news of exchanges and you might find one.
About on testing your Bot, then dont believe that your competitors arent usings bots and do manual trades.

How would you know if your opponents in contests are manual traders? Most of them could be bot traders too. I think you should give up with this idea, chose exchange suitable for your strategy and run your bot with minumi possible order size (~10$ for binance). After few weeks you will know if your strategy is profitable or not, then increase your positions and enjoy life as algo trader.

Also you need to know that main disadvantages of mock contests without real cash is that you are not working on real order book. So you don't have issue with unfilled orders, slippage, latency, spoofing etc. Chose exchange and test your bot on it, if profitable increase order size until you will see that your strategy stops to scale properly (f.e slippage is eating your profit)

Hi Everyone!

I want to compare the performance of my cryptocurrency trading bots to that of human traders.

I think that trading competitions or contests could be suitable platforms to collect excellent evidence for a right comparison, but the concepts of these bots are not proven yet and I do not want to burn money in the process.

Do you know about any competition where I can join with no deposit?
