I've been trading crypto for almost a year and basically picked up the knowledge i have from websites, videos and just experience. Mostly I've been investing and doing longer course trading, rather that day or swing trading and I feel like there's probably benefit from a formal course.
Any recommendation/experience on trading courses online?

It's been a year since you are in trading and you still want to take trading courses? You didn't need that. You already gained knowledge and all you need to do is to enhanced your strategy. There is no lesson in trading courses about enhancing skills and strategy since your'e the only one who can make it more effective in the long run.

What did you learn for almost a year and yet you are still in trouble?

I took a few and you were spot on. I guess I just wanted to see different trading nuances/styles and to get a structured course just in case there were holes that I didn't realize. End of the day, it wasn't worth the time/money at this point. It would have been great a year ago probably, but there are enough free materials out there to DIY.

Never tried to get a course online but many courses that you can see advertise in google or bing..
They are offering to learn a basic to pro way how to trade most the courses you can found in udemy just like this one
https://www.udemy.com/cryptocurrency/

For me its still the best to learn with your own way because you can learn the other thing that other people don't know..
Just focus in giving margin and make different margin like Tier 1 to tier 5 margin to 10% to 80% before you sell ..
Is just a sample what i am doing with my own that actually giving me a good profit if you seen the price decrease instead of selling them better to buy more to get the benefits of the price drop..
Keep doing and monitor every week you can see the result if you are long term trader you can check it every month .you can see what will be the result of your trading strategy if you collect the monitored movement of the price and your own margin if actually works or not.

Real trading & speculation knowledge you will - most likely - not find reading online.

Only the illusion of knowledge.

You have to become the knowledge yourself.

In forex trading usually follow from trader community (usually use forum) will give you a knowledge and some analysis which can help you, it's free because the forum is open for public.

In cryptocurrency trading usually the community use group chat platform (slack, telegram, ect) which they charge a member and give a signal with the reason why you must follow, but I ever see this kind of community take a benefit from member with give a wrong signal, so be careful if you want to join, better research first.
I think better to research more about tutorial/free guide how to make a good analysis in crypto and keep in touch with news feed.

So for almost a years in trading to crypto, hows your trading did it gives you a big profit anyway?
However, there are more demo about in trading in you tube video.

My profit has been good but I have mainly invested or just long term trades. I have been wanting to focus my skills more on day trading though. I've taken a few courses since the original post but it was mostly information i already knew. I guess it's always good to get repetition but what i need now is just practice.

I'll not recommended  any trading courses online, just build your knowledge and skill with real market. Use little money you have to test your strategy on real market. Fix the mistakes until you have a better strategy, don't forget stop loss and money management. Join some group with trading topic as their topic, courses online is wasting time. Good luck.

Obviously there are few free guides/tutorial for crypto trading but I haven't came across any course that will cover crypto trading. There is some for forex trading but they can't be suitable for crypto, I suggest you to make some searches for those free trading guides that might help you. But don't believe in claims made by some so called pump groups.

Me, i get some signals from a group. Buy signals and sell signals. Also i get some tutorials how to analyze the candlesticks. Sometimes it goes wrong. But most of the signals were successful. Sometimes the signals are for short trade. But i preffer long term trading. So they suggest some good ICO to invest.

There are trading signal services which sends decription and the reason behind signal to customers. If you already have basic trading knowledge following this trading signals will help you to understand "how to open positions on efficient markets ". Also you can try social trading platforms to learn from others. If you need help in this matter i can send you my own list related to social trading.

You need to follow the whales.I started with the same amount as you but I made good profits by investing in good coins at the right time.Making money doesn't have anything to do with understanding coins or predicting their future. You gotta invest and sell depending on the market value and trading volume of the coin.

There is a risk in trading, thereally is rational time in considering the risk before placing the trade. Every trade, no matter how certain you are of its outcome, is simply guess. Nothing is in certain in trading and have to many factors that shift the movement in currency. Sometime shift the environment trading in an accountable factors simply an option in daily exchange rate, buying and other options. We must be prepared in an uncertainties in setting our mind on a parameters or barriers, we need a plan.

Well, if you already have a good knowledge about trading from websites, videos, experience, I think you don't need a course... But there are surely some people on the internet selling guides teaching others how to trade, this kind of stuff and another guides for free, like you said, from videos.

I think a formal course is hard to find and it will be expensive for who is looking for money earnings online.

Did you try googling ? I am sure you can find plenty of effective resources across internet. Another big trading resources must be you tube, if you are ready to spend some time for learning with youtube videos then I am sure you can achieve the level of advanced trader in more quicker time than you may achieve that level by trading real time.
