Our first two on-chain analytics tools are out

We're proud to let you know that our new Bitcoin Coinbase Premium tool is out: https://www.tradingdigits.io/coinbase-premium

Powered by our proprietary candlestick charts, Coinbase Premium Index shows the difference—both percentage and USD—in Bitcoin's trading price between Coinbase and Binance, often indicating market sentiment and demand among US investors.

The chart is available completely for free on three timeframes—15m, 1H, and 1D—and just like almost all other our tools it comes with built-in screenshotting capabilities so that you can share the chart in just one click.

I think the UI could be a bit better but overall this is really cool! Congratulations.

Out of curiosity, which technologies did you use for this ? (backend and frontend)

Thanks a lot, man! I really appreciate the feedback.

The platform is powered by Next.js and Tailwind CSS, the database I use is PostgreSQL. The website is pretty lightweight and it's almost all front-end with very little to no back-end, but when there's need for back-end I use Node.js. The charts are made from scratch using HTML5 Canvas.

Are there some particular things when it comes to the UI that you believe can be improved? Be sure to let me know and I'll see what I can do.

We're happy to announce that we just released two new tools that can help you understand if the pico top is in and when you should take definitive profits in this bull market. These are Pi Cycle Top Indicator and 2-Year MA Multiplier Tool, check them out:

https://www.tradingdigits.io/pi-cycle-top-indicator
https://www.tradingdigits.io/2year-ma-multiplier

Whilst both charts are based on moving averages, Pi Cycle Top Indicator uses 111MA and 350MA x2 crossings to historically predict macro cycle tops with a precision of less than a week and 2-Year MA Multiplier Tool uses its MAs to predict when Bitcoin is either oversold or overbought.

As always, our charts are 100% responsive on any device and include built-in screenshotting capabilities.

We just released new Bitcoin Stock-to-Flow model tool: https://www.tradingdigits.io/bitcoin-s2f-model

The model, created by Plan B, calculates $BTC scarcity by comparing the current stock (total supply) of Bitcoin to its flow (annual production). As halvings happen every four years, Bitcoin scarcity increases together with its value, historically following the S2F line.

The chart overlays Bitcoin’s price on the projected stock-to-flow ratio line using colored dots that represent days until the next halving, helping you see how scarcity impacts value over time.

On top of that, the chart comes with screenshotting capabilities so that you can either download the screenshot or copy it to clipboard and share it anywhere you like with just one click.

Our new multichain Portfolio Tracker tool is out: https://www.tradingdigits.io/crypto-portfolio-tracker

Track holdings of any Bitcoin, Ethereum, or Tron wallet in real time without the need of signing up or connecting anything and completely for free. You can track up to 10 wallets at the same time.

Why it is different from other portfolio trackers?

1. It's secure and completely automatic

You don't need to add the tokens you own one by one, which will be stored in a database, to be able to track your portfolio. We pull real-time onchain data from the APIs and then store it in the browser on your local machine so that no one else has access to it apart from you.

2. It's multichain

Most portfolio trackers only let you track ERC-20 Ethereum wallets. Our tracker tool is multichain and lets you track any wallet on Bitcoin, Ethereum or Tron blockchains.

3. It's fast and it includes microcaps

It takes less than 5 seconds to fetch all data from a large Ethereum wallet that holds over 250 tokens, including even the tiniest microcaps.

Hi community! Here's a more detailed overview on the most important new features we released last week.

1. We added analytics on Futures exchanges into our Exchanges tool (https://www.tradingdigits.io/exchanges-volume-fees) and also we added sorting capabilities. Now you can easily sort through 100 biggest spot and 50 biggest futures crypto exchanges in the world and find those with lowest fees and/or highest volume.

How it looks: https://i.imgur.com/RFnbFZn.gif

2. Our goal is to become a service that provides real-time crypto market intel in a way that would be easily understood both by professional traders and beginners alike and that's why we decided to include the info block to all tools/calculators on the website.

However, we added the possibility to hide the info block for those traders that might find it distracting. Simply click on the X button and it will disappear, remembering your selection. In order to make it appear again just click on the info icon by the page title.

How it looks: https://i.imgur.com/FU41hTy.gif

3. Added cool dynamically triggered animations on pages with external data fetching.

You have really done an amazing job and still doing more. You have already implemented the bitcoin fear to greed index. I would have advised you slow down in adding more tools but I realised that it is the essence of the project.
I am anticipating the halving count down tool. I know it's one of the easiest one to do but I am definitely looking upto it.

I launched the Bitcoin halving tool a couple of days ago and letting you know as promised, check it out: https://www.tradingdigits.io/bitcoin-halving

It's great that you added a bitcoin halving countdown feature which will help users find out when the halving will occur. but is this feature still in development stage? because after I saw this feature the number on countdown is not running, apparently it's not working.

and additionally, you can put a toggle night/day mode feature to help users who want a night or bright look.

Hey there!

The countdown is working correctly, but I think I kind of owe an explanation on this to the community. It looks as if the countdown isn't running because I decided to use a dynamic formula for calculating the time left until the next halving. Instead of using a simple formula that takes the average block mining time of 10 minutes and multiplies it by the number of remaining blocks until the halving, I use an approach that would provide a more exact result:

Time Until Halving = (halving block - next block height) * average time between blocks - estimated time until the next block

This is why every 60 seconds the countdown value changes depending on the real-time block mining time and real-time estimated time until next block, probably giving you a completely different result every time but still a more true-to-life one.

It's an open question though and I think people will have mixed feeling on this one, some would prefer see the average 10 minutes results and others would prefer to get the result using real-time values. Which option do you prefer, man?

When it comes to the dark/light theme, I'm going to implement it soon as I'm currently working on an almost complete website UI overhaul in order to make it look smoother and more modern, and the color palette change switch will come together with it.

A couple of people asked for it in this thread and I'm glad to let you know that I'm finally coding BTC Halving Countdown tool. However, I noticed that most Bitcoin halving countdowns on the web provide different results, which is due to different formulas used for the calculations.

This is why I had the question for all of you. What formula would you prefer for me to use to calculate the halving date?

It can be a simple one that does not account for dynamic factors:

Time Until Halving = Remaining Blocks Until Halving * Average Time Between Blocks (e.g., 10 minutes)

Or a more complex one that takes into account the current real-time time between blocks and current estimated time until the next block.

Time Until Halving = (Halving block - Next block height) * Average time between blocks - estimated time until the next block

Or maybe there are some other feasible options? Feedback is appreciated.

I also appreciate your efforts and the community is warm about your project. Will releasing 6 more tools not affect the load time of the website? In as much as we appreciate to have all these tools in one tab, having a fully functional few will be appreciated that having more with some kind of functionality issues.
Also try to have the maintainability in mind since you are fetching from different servers.

Performance won't be an issue even if we launch over 10 new tools as the website is powered by Next.js, which is a highly efficient and scalable JavaScript framework that's known for its quick response time.
Good to know that the project is built with React.js library (Next.js). There is no doubt about the framework's quick response time.

Maintainability is a different question. There are no concerns about it for now and for the near future, but when the website will start getting more visitors I may try to move to a single data source.
You are prepared and also has a roadmap. Congratulations and keep good with the project.

You have really done an amazing job and still doing more. You have already implemented the bitcoin fear to greed index. I would have advised you slow down in adding more tools but I realised that it is the essence of the project.
I an anticipating the halving count down tool. I know it's one of the easiest one to do but I an definitely looking upto it.

Thanks so much for your feedback! I still have 6 tools for release in mind and I will try to launch a new section every two or three weeks. I like the reaction of the community so I think it's necessary to keep up the rhythm.

Three of these tools are pretty difficult when it comes to finding the right APIs and the other three are easier to implement, Halving Countdown being one of them. I think it will be number two or three in the queue, so it's probably going to be launched in August. I will let you know as soon as it's live! Thanks for commenting again, I really appreciate it mate.

Next week I'm launching a new section featuring Bitcoin Fear and Greed Index (and it's monthly historical performance since 2018) and I'll implement it shortly afterwards. I think this website also has data that will help me code the Bitcoin halving countdown tool later on.

BTC, DXY, SPX+ tool launched: https://www.tradingdigits.io/btcDxySpx

We're beginning to roll out more technical and specific tools and this new section is a chart that provides real-time correlation between the values of Bitcoin, US Dollar (DXY), S&P 500, Nasdaq, TOTAL1, TOTAL2, and Gold to know where the market may be heading next.

Apart from that, I improved the BTC Dominance chart styling and added smooth transitions between all pages of the website.

I really want to thank you for all these great tools on one page, in fact I often need to go to several sites to get these tools.

So this is a very good job bringing them together to make it easier to get all of these things that we need on one simple page.

It is possible to make things even easier by adding the Bitcoin and Ethereum fees as well as Bitcoin Dominance in the top bar of the page (as found on CoinMarketCap for example) rather than having each one on a separate page.

Thank you so much for your words! It's a pleasure to hear that your product turned out to be useful to other people.

Cheers for the suggestions. Currently I'm working on new analytics tools, but in the future I will be adding more stuff to the header and will definitely add current BTC.D there as well as other things such as S&P500 and NASDAQ, time until the next BTC halvening, and so on.

By the way, if there are other analytics tools or calculators that you'd like to see on the website (maybe you can't find something you're looking for on the web or you already use some specific tool but it's not made in a user-friendly or modern way) please let me know and I'll include it in the list of the new features to add to the website.

 - BITCOIN TRANSACTION FEE: You need to develop it better so that the results obtained are closer to what you get from services such as https://mempool.space/

I would suggest adding sat/vByte in your Gas & Fees tool. It shows gwei suggestions for ETH, but for BTC, only a USD average.

Hey guys, I just released the newly coded Bitcoin transaction fee tracker—showing real-time fees for low, medium, and high priority as well as no priority at all—using mempool.space APIs. Check it out: https://www.tradingdigits.io/gasFees

Fear and Greed Index launched: https://www.tradingdigits.io/cryptoFearAndGreed

Get a clearer picture on the current crypto market feel to be able to catch the tops and bottoms of the market. We're the only website that provides access to the averaged monthly historical performance values of this index.

I have never understood the Fear and Greed Index or its purpose to be honest. It's kind of self-explanatory and just shows what the market is currently going through. If bitcoin's price is increasing, the fear is on the lower end. Opposite of that, if bitcoin is dumping, then it's showing more fear among investors. If the movements are sideways, the index arrow stays in the middle.

The daily values of Fear and Greed Index alone do not really make much sense, but if we average them and take monthly values it may become a nice market sentiment tool and indicator (especially for beginners) on when to buy and sell for swing trades and hodling.

What I saw other websites do is to display the today's index value as well as place the historical daily index values on top of a chart, which to me looks kind of confusing and visually overwhelming without really telling anything.

What I did was to calculate the average monthly index value and present it in a clean way in an interactive table. For example, we can see that in February 2021 and a couple of months before it the average index was Extreme Greed indicating that it might have been a good moment to sell (Bitcoin was at 60k at that time and then fell to 30k).

The same way, the index averaged to Extreme Fear in May, June, and July when Bitcoin was fluctuating between 30k and 40k but shortly after it went up to 50-60k.

Also, further from historical data we can see that usually the index can't stay the same for longer than 3 months, which only happened twice since 2018.

I am not in any way saying that everyone should use it or it's the only indicator for buying the bottom/selling the top (there's no only one indicator in crypto or finance and multiple of them should always be used at the same time), but it's a nice market feel tool nonetheless.

Releasing it tomorrow BTC

It is another reflection of support and resistance points, or technical analysis with some feelings that are simplified in the form of fear and greed, so it is a simple indicator for beginners, although I think it gives a false sense of the accuracy of the results.

A few observations.

I was playing around with the satoshi calculator.
When you click on sat to alts and enter 1 ETH, the conversion it gives in the table is different from the ETH value shown at the top of your site. While I am writing this, the table says 1 ETH is 6759107 sats or $1737.3. The top of your website shows 1 ETH = $1742.

I would suggest adding sat/vByte in your Gas & Fees tool. It shows gwei suggestions for ETH, but for BTC, only a USD average.

Otherwise it's nice work, keep it up!

Thanks a lot for your words and feedback!

There may be a small difference in price between ETH/BTC in the header and the calculators/analytics tools because currently we use two different API providers for this in order to avoid double API calls for the same user. As soon as the website is more popular and we can afford a proper API with higher rates or get a partnership from some website that provides APIs with no limits, we will unify it and use the same API service for everything as well as implement other cool stuff with it.

When it comes to adding sat/vByte in Gas & Fees tool, I will do this soon using the real-time data from mempool.space. I'm currently working on a new section featuring Bitcoin Fear and Greed Index (and it's monthly historical performance since 2018), which will be released in a couple of days. Straight after that I'll implement the sat/vByte for Bitcoin, most probably this same week. I'll let you know when that's done and online!

I would have to say that unfortunately both. But this is not a bad thing, it just means that this is a new project which has a lot of room for improvement. So please do not take that as bad criticism but rather constructive criticism.  Grin

The UI design is a bit simplistic because it lacks user experience design as well as detail. If you construct it in a way from a third perspective so that any Jane or Jerry could intuitionally use it, then I think you would create a massive improvement. As far as the functionality goes, I think you could easily fit in additional details. It just seems like a website with a few buttons is not as impressive as a many option interface.

But again, those are just my own thoughts on the matter. I am sure there are users who prefer your design. Community Brain Storming. Thats what this thread is for, is it not?  Cheesy

No worries at all, this is exactly why I posted this thread over here. Welcoming all kinds of opinions from the community!  Cool

The UI can definitely get better. I'm currently working on adding more analytical tools to the website, but as soon as it's done I will try to make the interface not as blunt and kind of more sleek.

can give you some ideas:

 - Unit Converter: The user can convert the dollar and the rest of the local currencies to Bitcoin, the page should be clean and simple.
 - Address Analysis: The user puts his address or any address and gets details of whether the site is mentioned in fraud or is a site for a platform or you can register the address in your name.
 - Lightning Network: Add some services that accept Lightning Network.
 - https://kycnot.me/: Try to create a site that displays services like this site.

Thanks for the ideas! Will try to implement some of these as soon as the tools I'm currently working on are finished.

A Bitcoiner chooses. A slave obeys.

It sounds like you know what you are doing. Although the tools seem a bit simplistic, you might have a working concept which you can develop into something more complex. In time, I bet you could even find and create partnerships with exchanges, and gain more popularity for your website.

As a trader myself, I personally do not need to use any tools like this since I can just create an excel sheet with formulas and that serves the same exact purpose.

But not everyone knows how to do that and would rather have it automated by your website. So yeah, I think you might be on to something.

Good luck! Grin

Thanks a lot for your words! When you say simplistic do you refer to the UI design or functionality? It'll help me improve things.

I liked the idea of collecting many things in one place, and I do not remember that there is a site that offers a similar idea, but I have some notes:

 - BITCOIN TRANSACTION FEE: You need to develop it better so that the results obtained are closer to what you get from services such as https://mempool.space/
 - Dependence on third parties: I see that you rely on third parties to fetch data and update values, and this may lead to a slow response to the site.
 - Modify some interfaces: For example but not limited to:

Thank you for the feedback! Coinglass is a similar website, but it's much more specific, bigger, and technical.

We'll have both the essential and specific/technical tools (in the near future) on the website, trying to provide it all on the same page.

1. Thanks a lot for the link to https://mempool.space/ website, man, I kind of missed it. I already found out how to implement what you were suggesting using their APIs and will code it in a week or two.

2. Yes, we do fetch data from multiple places that provide free crypto APIs, both official and independent. What do you mean, like creating our own API?

3. Agreed. I will release a couple of new tools first and then handle the UI details. Will try to add smooth transitions between pages and page elements, some animations, and will redesign some UI elements like the calculation results modal you pointed out.

Hey everyone!

I am an enthusiast trader and a year ago I had this idea to create a free-to-use website that would feature all the most essential and useful tools/calculators that traders and investors use on a daily basis.

Hey everyone!

I am an enthusiast trader and a year ago I had this idea to create a free-to-use website that would feature all the most essential and useful tools/calculators that traders and investors use on a daily basis.

Website: https://www.tradingdigits.io/

There are dozens of cool projects that provide excellent analytics and tools for the crypto industry, but it was kind of weird to always have five different websites (or more) open in the browser at the same time to get hold of all the analytics/tools I needed. I think there is a lack of some product that provides access to all these tools at the same page.

Also, even if there are websites that provide lots of analytics for traders at the same place, they are usually highly specific and therefore look somewhat confusing, complex, and difficult to understand for casual traders.

So I learned to code and created it, which took me 12 months. The first sections were made by a developer that I hired whilst I was learning programming, but these days I tend to code all new features myself.

Satoshi Calculator: Calculate SAT to USD and vice versa but also SAT to altcoins in real time. Switch to SAT to ALTS mode, choose the crypto of your preference, and calculate how many satoshis is a certain amount of the crypto you chose and vice versa.

Funding Rates: Check real-time funding rates for perpetual swaps from Binance, ByBit, OKX, and Gate.io, updated every 15 seconds. We’re one of the only two websites on the Internet that provide access to live funding rates from multiple exchanges and the only website that lets you search for some particular coin by its name.

Gas & Fees: This page features both Ethereum gas tracker and Bitcoin transaction fee tracker. Find out real-time ETH transaction fee in gwei / USD (low, medium, and high) as well as the real-time low, medium, and high Bitcoin transaction fees in USD and sat/vB all on the same page.

Position Size: Use this advanced position size calculator to plan your spot, long, or short trades with risk management. I tried to make it both graphic and technical, but it’s still in beta and I’m planning to add more features to it soon.

Market Cap: Compare the market cap of two coins of your choice and find out what the price of the asset 1 would be if it had the market cap of the asset 2 and vice versa.

Fear and Greed Index: Get a clearer picture on the current crypto market feel to be able to catch the tops and bottoms of the market. We're the only website that provides access to the averaged monthly historical performance values of this index.

BTC, DXY, SPX+: A chart that provides real-time correlation between the values of Bitcoin, US Dollar (DXY), S&P 500, Nasdaq, TOTAL1, TOTAL2, and Gold to know where the market may be heading next.

Exchanges: Discover the world's biggest cryptocurrency exchanges ranked by highest daily volume and find out which of them provide the lowest crypto trading fees.

BTC/ETH Returns: Detailed historical performance analytics for monthly and quarterly Bitcoin and Ethereum returns to find out what time of the year the market tends to perform better.

Bitcoin Halving: Find out the exact dates on when the 2024 Bitcoin halving would happen and see detailed analytics on BTC prices before and after all past halvings.

Portfolio Tracker: Track portfolio holdings of any crypto wallet on Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Tron blockchains in real time, without signing up, and completely for free.

Crypto Heatmap: Use this multi-category heatmap to find out whether the market's most important coins—TOP 50, L1, AI, GameFi, DeFi & more—are in the green or red today.

Other self-explicative tools include Cost Averaging (DCA) calculator, Percentage calculator, Stablecoin Peg, Economic Calendar, CME Gap, and BTC Dominance.

I’m actively working on the project and in the following months at least 5 new analytics tools will be added to the website.

If there are some other analytics tools or calculators that you'd like to see on the website (maybe you can't find something you're looking for on the web or you already use some specific tool but it's not made in a user-friendly or modern way) please let me know and I'll include it in the list of the new features to add to the website.

Feedback and your opinions would be highly appreciated. Feel free to ask any questions and thanks a lot for your time and attention.
