since you are fresh and all new to trading I suggest you bring down your final goal from 100BTC or increase the time from 1 year to more. because you will be disappointed if you don't reach that goal.

also don't jump in without knowledge of the market and without knowing what charts are! try to watch the market for a while and even if you don't make any trades you can take notes and check how good your predictions were.

remember that trading is not gambling.

also stay away from pump and dump groups. they are nothing buy waste of time and money for you who join the group. the group leaders/owner is the only one(s) that make money because people like you will fall for their scheme and buy their sell orders.

100btc in a year especially on trading is a impossible income to win on ,even big time traders have difficulty to have 20btc a year .especially your a beginer you will need more experience about 1-2 months for you to handle and learn the anusual flow of trading .
Trading not needs big investment at all it needs good timing ,Big investment on a coin is good but better timing and buy on cheap great coin best trading technique.

Everyone here is looking for the same edge, so it isn't likely that you're going to get genuine,  good advice on this forum.  But good luck.  Trying to make 100 times your money isn't easy with bitcoin anymore.   Ah, to be back in 2012 again!

100 BTC is indeed a big amount. Well, I can't say it's impossible to achieve since anything is possible, especially if you really have knowledge in trading. Good luck to you, I know you can learn more about trading by reading different articles. Also by trying it out yourself using small amounts first and I think by then you can learn about the way the market tends to react.

Welcome here bro, my recommendation is you trade in poloniex, there you can find a great altcoins and you can start to make money, I know you can learn because you will have to protect your amount as your capital.

Hey,

My name is Alex and my plan is to dive into crypto.

I have no trading history but I'm eager to learn so any advice is welcome.

I have less than 1 BTC, and I can invest another 1BTC-ish into this journey.

What I have done:

- Opened a coinigy and just played around to learn the site. Placed an order in Bitshares for 0.12BTC
- Invested into DECENT 0.31 BTC (let's see how that goes when it goes into exchanges)

Current Bankroll: 0.79BTC

I must learn how chart works. I'm looking for info into this.

Welcome to the crypto world but if you have a target for making 100 btc just for a year you need for making the profit 0.297 btc for a day and hoping your journey will so funny and many experiences in there.

I go for small trades with small profits but I try to do a a lot of trades. The problem is that if there is not much movement in the market, you can trade very much.

Alex,

Best of luck to you. I guess we will be learning to do this at the same time as I have also just started and am looking to try my hand at trading. Although, I am going to take a slightly different approach. I'm not going to use any of my own money. Just use my time and see how far I can get.

trading not always be got profit and i saw that you have no trading history and from less than 1 btc as your bankroll i personally a bit doubt you could achieve your goal because 100 btc is huge amount and only in 1 year that mean each month you should be got profit over than 3 btc with 0.1-0.15 btc as daily profit but let's see your progress in the next few days and i wish you will always update this thread

That's way to go,bud.100 btc a year is too big of a goal to achieve.I appreciate you're starting small but take baby steps at a time.Start from making 1btc to 1.5 and on the next target. You really need to trade on reputed sources like poleniox or yobit but don't recommend storing your coins on any of the exchange wallets. If you know the bitnfix story,be on the safer side.Best of Luck!

Well trading is not so easy but if you can go in legit altcoin you can make a good profit instead of losing it.. try to check the top 10 altcoin in coinmarket cap those coin are good to invest..  instead buying altcoin that really dont know about them but if you can check that altcoin that has a potencial in the future you can hold it.
Try also buy low and sell high in bitcoin its more easy to trade than other alternatives.

I will be watching how your progress will go, it was nice idea that you created this thread hope you will learn in the process of trading with low loss and high amount in profit. I have found in crypto trading one and only rule is never buy at peak and never sell in dip being panic.

hey Alex welcome to cryptoland! i will tell only one thing, just dont put all your eggs in one basket! at the begging lower the risk/reward factor, you can raise it afterwards from your profit capital ! So its gonna be a win-win situation or a stop-loss from profit , which never hurt anyone! Smiley
also you can join our speculation PnD group here https://pndseeker.slack.com anyone can join actually , but trolls not accepted and will be kick since day 1!
It is free of charge!  Cool

Hey CB. Thanks for the invite, I'll sure join.

Yeah, I am still learning to see if a system can be formed and which can yield some positive results.

I'll mention right now that I'm not really the gambler, I'm looking for the edge. The BTC I am willing to risk is lower risk for me, I'm not putting my life on the line for a quick buck, but rather I try to grow and learn. Hopefully I will learn something, anything at all in case of bust.
