Obviously that it depends on the kind of trade that you are going to do. If you saw some previous notices about that altcoin, then the best thing that you can do is just to analyze it with the 4h - 12h charts, because they show you the whole movement during the day.
But for scalping, then 1minute and 5minutes are the best ones, because you can just look at the price at the moment and it is better, because you can easily make profit from those candles, lmao  Lips sealed
It is just the way that you use to trade, just try to acostumbrate to it.

What is the best time frame to use for day trading?

I thought time frame is depending your style.  If you are scalper, time frame 15-30 minutes is good.
But if you are trader swing. At least you use H1 till D1.

I am in Asia, my time zone is +6. I usually trade at 2-3 am. Since this is the main trading time of the trading floors in Europe and America. This time I did not miss the good deals.

The best time frame for a trade? That's a really tough one to answer because it varies so much. Personally I use 30 minute candles and most of my trades probably take 3-4 hours to complete, sometimes much less and sometimes much more.

Longer time frames are usually better as they give a better indication on price though usually you need a larger trading account (money).

If you can trade 1H and 4H charts they are good, though more trade opportunities can be found trading 15min charts. It all depends really on the type of trader you are and what you personally prefer.

I trade 15min charts but also 1H charts.
