You can also check out CryptoTrader.org, takes a bit of configuring to setup but can pretty much automate your day trades, and let you backtest your trading strategy ahead of time.

Cheers!

Well, I am not a developer myself, so I'm not going to do any coding. I did write in pure C language back in the MS-DOS days, but that is a long while ago. I can, however, design these tools, and explain the mathematical formulae involved in creating them.

I might work very happily with a partner, creating the very first full suite of professional-grade trading tools for cryptocurrencies. Not only can we, as creators of such tools, make some decent income out of this, but it would usher crypto trading into a new era, that of actual financial markets trading, same as stock or derivatives exchanges.

This is a very exciting opportunity for ambitious developers, actually.

I just released an app for Android that lets you trade via Cryptsy.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sedailabs.cointrader

Easy when you're on the go, especially if you mine with multipool and have auto-payout enabled.

I also wrote a general java API to interface with Cryptsy, but yeah, it's a little primitive since the API calls are all HTTP-based. We would need a solid TCP-based connection with proper function calls to really get things going...but they still are somewhat functional as it is. If everyone is using the same thing, you aren't at a disadvantage. Smiley

There is definitely a lot that could be done!

http://coinmarketcap.com is a start - but there is scope for something way more sophisticated Wink

A http://bitcoinity.org for the alts would be pretty useful too!

Hi,

I'm new here. I've been mining for a little while, on a number of machines I have at home. Some Netcoin, Spots, Quarks, Qubit, Doge, and a few others I'm forgetting.

Anyway, I am a retired stock broker and trader, and I am looking at these new currencies with much interest. One aspect in which I see a great opportunity is in adapting traditional trading tools to these new markets, as what is currently available seems quite basic to say the least.

So yeah, someone can make a very nice business developing trading tools, I am sure. Heck, I could help, given the experience I have in the fireld... Wink
