I am not sure about what kind of answers that Op looking for, but I guess the words of "trading war" refers to people who trade in exchanges, compete each other to buy and sell at the best time in order to get more profits. Than trading is always be a war in every exchanges.
I consider trading as gambling activity, whether you said it a better one and more profitable but as long as there is a stake on the table and you can get profit or lose your capital, it is gambling which is war to get profit while others get loss  Grin

I dont know what he means but I guess he is trying to prefer with the rise and dips that are too sudden which only takes hours and then finished.
I have only seen this in Yobit which they have bots pumping one coin. I didn't try to invest in one of those because I knew it will be a shitcoin. Someone is just trying to make money or trying to invite other investor. Once you get in it you will just lose.

If you really want the best answer then ask in a concise manner. what kind of trading war do you mean? i've seen the term when they described the buy and sell wars.

it is when there are a rapid alternation of buy and sell trades and sometimes buy overpowers sell or vice versa on a particular coin as a result the price of that certain coin

fluctuates greatly. you can simply determine it by looking at the marekts trade history. thats the best answer i can do now. if thats not it, you can always edit the op and add

additional details

I have been in crypto for quite awhile but never encountered such term though. Can Trading WARs affect the individuals who are just not into trading but only buying tokens and holding only for months until such profit is attained?

I believe thats all misconception with the pump and dump groups which operates through social media groups and majorly through telegram. You can really guess whats going to happen with coin on the basis of buy and sell trends that shows up live in the exchangers. The more the buy volume the more are the chances the coins is going to pump sooner or later. The reverse is also true about it. You have to very keen about it as the trades are happening lightening fast really and you may choose wrong turn. Trade war is just about who trades what and how much.

As per my experiences in trading, i think i've seen a couple.of these wars on some altcoins that are not that prominent. Sudden pumps and dumps happen in small amount of time and i sometimes can ride pumps and lose also when these whales dump coins.

i am dying here  Cheesy

well i guess you're talking about 'trading war' is when someone trying to surpress the price ?
or someone trying to pump it.
i think only those two possibilites based on your statement 'trading war'.

lets talk about someone trying to surpress the price,
usually i used market cap to watch total vol in whole exchanger and make a hypotesis from it.
if the market cap is down usually the price will follow.
and other than that i always checked the order books from time to time.if the order significantly dropped, another dip will happen for sure.

and same thing will happen if someone trying to pump it,
usually when someone trying to push it,we will see a huge wall for a moment in the sell orders,
after a few minutes or so that wall will disappear and the price slowly rising.
so far, that's my method to make some small action to create an opportunity to trade.

well, what do you think ? it is the answer that you lookin for ?

All trades are war if you are a trader.  Cool   Read the art of war to understand more.  It is hard to tell though how many whales are trading against each other and their are also countless bots. So their is no real 'war' as such.  More like choas and anarchy.
