I'm glad I asked because had you not intervened it looks like the transactions may have been stuck long term, causing me some major stress with Aug 1 approaching! Thanks again for your help, I'll have to figure out how to investigate and rebroadcast a transaction myself, so if I'm ever in the same situation I can rectify it.
Rebroadcasting isn't too hard... firstly, get the "raw transaction". This is pretty easy using blockchain.info, you just add "?format=hex" to the end of the URL in your browser. For instance, your transaction:

https://blockchain.info/tx/7d149d0dfda8903554b88d70c74db1ef39b28c055d28fcc9a47e24e619762a9e

Raw Transaction:

It'll give you the raw transaction in hexidecimal notation. Copy/Paste it into the broadcast section of one (or more) of these sites:

Hi HCP,

Thanks very much for the rebroadcast it appears the transaction has now been confirmed! I did try to use the ViaBTC accelerator initially, but it told me the 'transaction did not exist' which is what caused me to grow concerned. I didn't realize that a small transaction could hold up the transaction behind it in that manner. It's ironic because I used that small transaction to ensure I had the correct wallet address prior to sending 0.5BTC to allow for a smooth transaction, but it appears that small transaction may have prevented both transaction confirmations!

It doesn't show on ViaBTC because it has an unconfirmed parent: 7d149d0dfda8903554b88d70c74db1ef39b28c055d28fcc9a47e24e619762a9e

You should try accelerating that transaction with ViaBTC first... once it confirms, your transaction should confirm "normally".. especially with a fee that big! Wink In fact, with current network load... it might just work as a "Child Pays For parent!"

EDIT:
For whatever reason, it seems like the unconfirmed parent had dropped from the mempool? Huh So I rebroadcast it... and then rebroadcast your transaction as well... seems like they're both showing on multiple block explorers again Smiley

Hi HI-TEC99,

I'm having a similar issue, although, I put the transaction through with a reasonable fee (approx 350sat/byte). ViaBtc says 'Transaction does not exist' and I can't find the transaction when searching via blocktrail.com it does show up on blockchain.info though. Any chance you can give me some advice as to why it's not showing up? I'm considering using the manual accelerator you suggested.
