If you are having problems like this, I suggest increasing your TX fees so you could get your transactions confirmed faster.

Johoe's site shows rather empty mempool for last night, so it should not be a fee problem (unless somebody did something fishy/less than the recommended minimum).
OP should recheck the status, maybe also check if his Electrum is online/connected.

it doesn't seem like OP's issue has anything to do with fees or even unconfirmed transactions for that matter. he is just looking in the wrong place that is the "receive tab". that tab has always been a source of confusion for everyone, you can create "requests" there will remain in "pending" state until someone actually pays you. it is like creating a donation link and waiting for a donation to come.
So it could be that there are no actual coins that are coming to him? Waiting for that donation address to be filled with the transaction request?

The receive tab will show pending if you receive money but the amount is less than what you put into the request. Since the amount can change depending on the exchange rate the receive tab should not be taken seriously. History tab is the best for this purpose.

You are partially correct however, for example if it will still remain on a pending status then OP might not actually receive any payment after all that's if OP did send the receiving address/QR Code and the sender didn't used it. So in this case there is still really a chance that OP didn't receive any payment at this point. But since the OP isn't replying to this thread I think he had received the payment and you are probably correct that he wasn't aware of Electrum's other functions. And for the newbies reading this I think the best way to avoid this from ever happening to you is to either just send your address to the sender directly and not used the receive tab or if you will you must read guides like this [ur=https://bitcoinelectrum.com/how-to-use-the-electrum-receive-tab/l]one[/url] to have a much better understanding with this function.

It has been a couple of hours already, and maybe you have an update with your transaction? I'm pretty sure you have received your coins already.

It's best to check first if you have an updated Electrum and make sure to verify your software as well.

Unable to obtain my coins...RECEUIVE tab says PENDING
Check the "History" tab. Which is the first tab from the left. All your transactions both receiving and sending are listed there.

Even if the transaction is not yet confirmed it will be listed in the History tab. Receive tab is only for the receiving address that you send the person who is going to send you coins. That address will receive the coins.

What version of Electrum are you using?

Probably because the transaction hasn't been confirmed yet. Just wait.

Or post the transaction ID here so we can take a look and confirm that.
