You need to wait more time for a confirmation. When you send bitcoin you can set a high fee for a fast confirmation.

 transaction issues.

as always transaction is often the issue every time we transact our bitcoins to convert it into cash.
all you have to do is repeat the step you did in transaction then double check it well. Smiley

I have a transaction I sent a couple of hours ago that is still unconfirmed altough the 0.001 btc transaction fee is paid aswell. I have other transactions that went on afterwards that are allready confirmed but that one has 0 confirmations.
What can I do?

Thank you.
Is this your first time to make a transaction?   Cause if you made transaction before ,you know how long it takes to confirm those transactions.  I advice you to wait.

Thank you.

I too use my BTC for gambling and I am involved in scores of transactions a day chasing lines....I got tired of having to deal with times and fees....Here is what I do: I keep the bulk of my bankroll in my core wallet but every day before my session, I transfer the working percentage of my BTC from my core wallet to my XAPO wallet and let my Xapo account pay the transaction fees for me. Xapo doesn't charge transaction fees so that saves me time and saves me tx fees during the arbitrage of leveraging my plays.

.0001 is often just not enough anymore see http://bitcoinfees.21.co/ for real time recommended fee. Or you can just use .0005 for all transactions. Many wallets still use .0001 and you need to override that.

Thank you.

It may need rebroardcasing. I know that some members on thisforum can do it.
I read posts further down and if other transactions have been confirmed, it is unusual that this one hasn't.
May be better just to wait for it to be confirmed therefore.

I use the default tax se by blockchakin.info wallet, and untill now I didn't have any issues using it but, there's always a first hehe

Yeah, the bc.i default was too high a few months back, but for today (literally this actual day) that's not enough. It's easier to use wallet software running on your own computer to handle this problem, bc.i have pretty basic wallet software from what I remember. Maybe it's better these days though, if you can get info from bc.i about the tx size before you hit send, then you could easily get around this problem all the time (and you could probably save yourself money on fess some of the time as well as saving time when the network is busy)

Also, it's not a tax. There are no threats, violence or kidnapping involved, you pay because you decide to.

That's the thing, I've sent and received ever since that transaction and all others are confirmed, I don't get it why it's happening.
The thing that buggs me is that that's part of my gambling wallet and I need my bankroll to continue gambling haha, I can't get my winning sum back because the sending transaction isn't confirmed (even if I won the bet).
Nvm. hope it gets picked up eventually.
I think that 5c is a high enough fee regarding that the whole transaction is for 6,25c (at the moment of the transaction being sent).
I tought there might be a "resend" option that doesn't involve 20h of work hehe.

It's the size of the transaction that matters. Fees to make your transaction high priority can change so if your wallet doesn't set fees on its own either pick one that does (for example coinbase manages fees without charging) or adjust fees acording to https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ and your transaction's size

Bear in mind also that today has seen unprecedently high tx volumes on the network; I thought 250,000 per day was the absolute limit when we got that figure a few weeks/months back, but there's been a consistent average of 270,000 today. In other words, it's not just you.

So, plan ahead for now. If specific circumstances mean you can't, pay close attention to the size of your tx (determined by the number of the inputs and the complexity of the script) and the current average fee. There are websites (and wallets) that can give you an accurate figure for what you can expect to pay per kB, consult those information sources and think about risk/reward for underpaying/overpaying.

You should have paid at least 0.0002 (if eyeballing it).
You only pay 0.0001 when the size of your tx is under 1000 bytes.
Your tx is 1512 bytes, so you under paid.

You should pay the miners based upon size of your tx & then on how fast you want it to confirm.

What I have said above does not considered whether you should pay even more since there
may be other txs pending in the mempool (I just checked, only 3000+ txs).
(You will be picked up within the next 3-4 blocks, in my guesstimate)

You can wait, or try to resend it with a higher fee.  Kiss

Just wait, the size of the transaction doesn't sit well with the fee for the transaction to be of high priority most probably. It'll be confirmed eventually, if it isn't for a long time there are more complicated solutions but no need to try that yet.

Thank you.

Medium priority TX.
Just wait a few months for segwit, I think that is the plan.
