Go into the RPC window, then do
getrawtransaction *transaction id*
then copy and paste the result into
sendrawtransaction *result from previous command*

This will rebroadcast the transaction to the network.

I didn't delete the folder and download the block chain again until 3 days of no confirmations. I will look in to rescan.

I think when you

I deleted everything in my bitcoin folder except for my wallet.dat

you deleted that pending transaction. Maybe try -rescan? https://bitcointalk.org/?topic=7159.0

Keep good backups of your wallet.dat - as always.

The address doesn't show any transaction in the block chain.

I have a transaction ID. But the transaction hasn't been broadcast. It doesn't show in the block chain either. I deleted everything in my bitcoin folder except for my wallet.dat. I downloaded the block chain again. The transaction shows a deduction from my wallet. But the BTC never hit the destination address. I've never had this happen before. Not sure what to think. Any advice?

Thanks.
