What is this mean?

Transaction rejected by our node. Reason: Transaction was previously accepted but has been pruned from our database.

Its a blockchain.info specific message. It means they removed the transaction from their database. AFAIK they do this to modified transactions (as in malleated) as well as double spends, where one TX is confirmed.

Same problem here I sent transaction with custom fee Electrum 2.5.4. 10 hours ago transaction is marked as low priority and it`s not confirmed yet.

I have the same problem today. I sent transaction with fee calculated by MultibitHD 8 hours ago. Now I see that transaction is marked as Medium priority and it`s not confirmed yet:

This is strange as I need to wait and wait.

So why is this is such a big deal now? Has the transaction volume over the past day shot up exponentially? Seems like the bitcoin protocol needs to address this issue. This is a problem, to say the least.

for a "normal" tx you can wait also 5 hours...
I have seen today the seems there is some "movements" (also price go up) and there are a lot of unconfirmed transaction.
Actually 1.88 tx not confirmed are submitted every second!

and why would it wait for the first to confirm?

if he has enough, would it go through first?

No, the first transaction creates change. These change coins are used in the second so the second can not confirm without the first. To make it even worse, the first now was double-spend[1], so the 2nd can never confirm. Well, at least the conflict is solved. 2nd TX is invalid, 1st TX is invalid, double spend of 1st is confirmed (9+).

Something is hayware. I sent 3 seperate transactions at 1am last nite and THEY are still unconfirmed!
 It's be about 16 hours!

One with a fee:

I used bitcoin core 11.2, let to fast and unchecked zero based transaction. FYI in the past I've use zero fees and had the transaction finish in 10 minutes. So something else is wrong.

You pay no fee while there are up to 40k transactions waiting.

When the first gets confirmed the second will be confirmed within few minutes, but i have a feeling that you should wait 2 days and then resend again.

I sent it a few hours ago, then I tried again with a much higher fee. it still hasn't gone through. I have no pending transactions in my client (bitcoin core 0.11.2 64bit)

Any ideas?

Thanks!!

The first has a fee that is too low, the second requires the first to confirm, because it uses on of the coins created yb the first wallet.

The first one I sent with automatic fee without checking it

I sent it hours ago, would there be any other problem that could be causing this to happen?

I check and it is still not a single confirmation...

Nope... just like described, the first one has low fee and the second one needs the first one to be confirmed
