I am also having a similar problem..

Satoshi Client is fully updated reporting block #277988
Armory Clinet is reporting block #277476

both have been shutdown/restarted. It appears as though Armory is not loading the whole block chain  Undecided

It did have 14 confirmations in the block chain the Connected X blocks was showing but it was still not showing the balance. Strangely though it has now shown up 2 hours later just as you replied. Smiley

It's possible that Bitcoin-Qt was not fully synchronized with the network.  If it was still a couple days behind in the transaction history, Armory would have no evidence the transaction ever existed.

The new version of Armory coming out soon will hopefully fix this problem!

I just sent bitcoins to an address generated by Armory (receive bitcoins) while it was scanning the blockchain. It has now finished scanning but the transaction isn't showing up after it has been confirmed by the block chain. How can I recover the bit coins that are in that address?

If Armory finished scanning and is online, please check the bottom-right corner of the main window for the "Connected (X blocks)".  If everything is up-to-date, then you will see (as of this writing, Mar 25, 2013) something like "Connected (227,977 blocks)".  If that's correct, then please go into your wallet and find the address you sent coins to, right-click on it and show it on blockchain.info.  Although Armory usually picks up fresh, zero-confirmation "unconfirmed transactions", it frequently doesn't.  Then you'll have to wait 1 confirmation before it shows up in the main ledger.

The address is shown in the sequence of addresses, it just isn't showing the balance like something hasn't synchronised.
