If no highlight, there's one more thing that may add extra output to your transaction: 2FA fee.

An output for the 2FA fee (to trustedcoin) is highlighed blue.

Overall, there are 3 colors:

Green highlighted: "Sending address" from own electrum wallet
Yellow highlighted: "Change address" from own electrum wallet
Blue highlighed: Address to buy 2FA credits from TrustedCoin
Not highlighted: Address which does not belong to the own walllet / or TrustedCoin to top up the 2FA credit.

No, I actually do see the Pay To address, there is just another address within the outputs section of the preview. As the responder above as mentioned, that is the change address. From what you understand, the yellow highlighted address is the change address?
FYI: Highlighted in yellow=your change address ; Highlighted in green = your address.

Are you certain that it's highlighted in yellow? If it is, there's no doubt that it's your change address.

Can you tell us the type of wallet that you're using:
What's written on the title bar after the wallet name [Standard] or [2FA]?

Correct.  I'm sorry I misunderstood.  For some reason I thought you said that the address to which you want to send coins was NOT in the "outputs" field.  It sounds like you're good to go (if you're able to connect to a server.)  Again, it's my understanding that Electrum servers have been updated to disallow client version older than 3.3.4 from obtaining a connection.

Electrum is recommending that any version prior to 3.3.4 should be updated.  You may not even be connected to a server, which is one of the ways Electrum is mitigating the potential phishing risk.  That might be why you aren't seeing the address you entered into the "send to" field.  Maybe.  That still seems weird to me.

btw you should update electrum to 3.3.8 via electrum.org. 3.3.3 is an old version that is not safe to use.

At the risk of sounding like a newb, I'm going to ask this for all those being careful with electrum due to the phishing scare.

When previewing my transaction, there are two output addresses and only one of them is the address I'd like my BTC to go to. Is this how it should look? Currently trying to send BTC out of my Electrum wallet to an exchange.

Thanks. And thanks for answering if this total newb talk.  Huh

yes if the other output address is highlighted in yellow or green.  that's the change address and it belongs to your own wallet.

I'm running 3.3.3. I have never downloaded anything from any link that resembles the phishing scam. I also have successfully sent BTC out of my wallet before. The version was direct from Electrum.org.

There are two output addresses and none of them are the address I'd like my BTC to go to. Is this how it should look, or should the 'pay to' address be within the transaction preview. Currently trying to send BTC out of my Electrum wallet.

Yes, your instincts are correct.  The address you want to send coins to should be listed in the "Outputs" window of your preview pane.  You may find other addresses in there as well, but those should be your change addresses (if you have that option selected.)

What version are you running?  Do you recall from where you downloaded the install package?
