Hej,
Finally the transaction peding appeared in electrum as low fee transaction.
when i want to do child for parents it says that i have to put 2mBTC for fees... the transaction i made was 5mBTC so it's very expansive isn't it ? almost 40% !!

Dear HCP,
Thank you, i installed electrum and imported my wallet.
It seems that the BTC are still in the wallet because the balance says 15 mBTC.
What should i do ? wait for old transaction to be forgot or send again the BTC ?

Thank you,

Above in the forum headline moderator added the information states that critical vulnerblity in electrum. Moreover he asked members to upgrade the wallet for more security bro.
If you find your transaction to the destination wallet you have to wait until it reaches the wallet. If the fees is cheap in the transaction you will not make the confirms faster. Try some paid accelerators to done that like confirmtx.

Firstly, you should stop using MultiBit... it is old, outdated, full of bugs and no longer supported (https://multibit.org/blog/2017/07/26/multibit-shutdown.html)

In that blog post, they include links to migrate to Electrum. I would recommend you export your keys as shown in the video (https://youtu.be/LaijbTcxsv8) and then import them into Electrum (Note: for latest version of Electrum, you need to use the "Import Bitcoin Address or private keys" option when creating wallet, NOT "standard wallet -> use public or private keys").

Get set up in Electrum and you'll have a better chance of being able to see your funds correctly, and actually send a transaction with a proper fee.

thank you bob,
I'm using a old multibit wallet (because i earned the BTC buy this way). I wanted to spend the BTC on coinbase.
I reinitialized the transcation and block chained on multibit and the sync is finished. Here is what i get :

I have 0,00162 BTC left on the wallet but not confirmed (i think it is this transaction : https://tradeblock.com/bitcoin/tx/a85dd38103a43201e646d84dea00e08487ccaf92ba0c07b7fed14d860d91375b)
I have nothing for the 0,00980310 BTC (this transcation https://tradeblock.com/bitcoin/tx/f6bdc473d719240703af07c39d20e3b837d87b0c0f8b34ae06b1265336a23a9d) and it does not appear anymore on the wallet (neither on blockchain Sad )

i understand that i should wait for the first one, but what about the second one then ?

thank you so much

edit : I have a copy on the original wallet on my computer... (before doing any transaction). that could help ?

It seems like the second transaction already disappeared from most of the nodes on the network.
If your wallet still doesn't show any balance you might try to rescan/refresh (depending on your wallet) it.

For a light weight client, you can (assuming you are using a BIP39 combatible - 12/24 word - seed) create a new wallet with your seed or clear the cache / reinstall your wallet client.
For a full node (core) you can start core with the -restart parameter to get your current (usable) balance.

However, this will only allow you to spend the amount from the second transaction, since the first one is still sitting in the mempool of quite a lot nodes around the network.
You don't need to worry, your coins aren't lost at any time. Chances are pretty high your first TX will get dropped too (as long as your wallet isn't rebroadcasting this TX).

If your transaction won't get dropped in the near future you still have the possibility to do a child-pays-for-parent, but you need to have the private keys of one of the TX outputs.
Either 182e... or (probably your change address:) 176V.... My first advise would be to wait a while if you're not in a hurry and try the CPFP if it doesn't get dropped.

Can't you increase the fee?  It should eventually go through, not like your going to lose it.

Hello everybody,
I made a transaction with small fee because i did not know that i could change it.
The transaction is pending since a long time, and my others transactions from same wallet do complete too.

What should i do ?? Small value but very important for me Sad

thanks
