Switch your internet connection off before you run zapwallettxes. Your wallet will keep rebroadcasting your transaction to the network as long as it can see it. After you have run zapwallettxes you can switch your internet connection back on. Your wallet should no longer be able to see your transaction, and won't rebroadcast it any more.

Most sites automatically assign addresses to users that has a time limit. It doesn't necessary mean that the funds cannot be retrieved after that time period. In many instances, they do not actually delete the private keys and it is still possible to be retrieved.

Since you do not have any confirmations, there is still a slight chance that the transaction can be dropped by the mempools around the network. Is your wallet pruned? If not, try running it with zapwallettxes. I'm too lazy to explain how so refer to this: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.13273042.

Hello every one,
Firstly I am newbie and searched forum with the keywords "expired adress" but couldn't find answer for my problem.
I am using Bitcoin core v0.12.1 (64 bit)
windows 10

3 days ago I tried to send some bitcoin to a company for an investment but kept fee very low. (shame on me) Adress was valid for 24 hours and transaction wasn't confirmed after 24 hours. After 3 days, now that the adress is invalid and transaction confirmation is zero I wanted to cancel the transaction. I typed abandontransaction with the tx id. But the answer was "Transaction not eligible  for abandonment (code - 5)" How can I cancel that transaction and get those bitcoin back?

thank you
