OP you could post your BTC address to check it out together.
Anyway if the transaction contains zero fees, that will likely delayed the confirmation.

He sent through Blockchain he said, which I think requires a fee.

FWIW, I nornally do a "custom" transaction when transfering BTC. This allows me to control the fee I pay, as well as explicitly control the change address for better anonymity.

It is risky for newbie to play with raw transaction, especially if they don't understand the tx fee is set as sum (outputs) - sum (inputs), and I have seen people broadcasting transaction with huge fee.

Thanks for all the replies and advice. It has cleared now ,the longest time its ever took for a transaction to go through since I have been using bitcoins , only been using them since July last year but still learning things about them.

Hi I just sent it straight from my blockchain app on my phone like I normally do, Im not sure how to see if I did or not, ive tried looking but can not see where it says if I paid a fee or not. Sorry If this sounds really thick but I have not encountered this before.

Thanks.

If you look at the transaction record on blockchain.info you'll likely be able to see if a fee was included. Although occasionally I've had is show no fee was paid when in fact a fee WAS paid.

At any rate, the transaction will eventually clear, or will be returned to you. You MAY have to wait as long as 24 hours. BTW, the rules for when a BTC transfer fee is required are a bit complex. It can even depend on things such as how long you've held the funds before the transfer. See here for more info: http://bitcoinfees.com

if you send it you payed the fee. can't send transaction without a fee. i think it's about 10 k satoshi. you have transaction id if you are not sure what happened.
This is incorrect. Some BTC clients WILL in fact send a transaction without a fee.

Hi Im wondering if anyone could explain to me what may have gone wrong with a btc transaction that I made today at 8.58am  uk time, its still showing unconfirmed as when I look its in a queue that that just seems to go up and down in placement. This has never happened to me before and Im a bit unsure as to what may have caused this very long delay.

Thanks In advance .
