What? Both transactions already have more than 45000 confirmations. Also, I can see that the first one took 8 minutes to confirm, while the second one only took 16 minutes.

Are you saying that it's showing as unconfirmed in your Multibit wallet? Try to open your Multibit wallet and go to Tools -> Repair wallet. This should rescan the blockchain and see that both transactions are already confirmed.

P.s: Your links are kinda broken. You don't need to use quotation marks and your link has two "http".
Fixed the links, they should be good now.

I tried repairing my MultiBit wallet twice. Neither attempt changed anything.
If MultiBit HD is broken and the "Repair Wallet" doesn't work... which wouldn't surprise me... try and import your MultiBit HD recovery phrase/wallet words (aka 12 word seed mnemonic) into Electrum... follow this video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-KcY6KUVnY

Electrum can be downloaded here: https://electrum.org/#download

Electrum is likely to be a bit more reliable than MBHD at the moment... as MBHD is no longer being developed/maintained.
Awesome, the import was successful and the Bitcoin are appearing! Thank you so much!

So I'm not a newbie per se, but not knowledgable enough about Bitcoin to know precisely what's going on here and how to approach the problem. If this is just a matter of Bitcoin that needs to be mined, I'll compensate anyone who does so.

For a while, I've made small investments in Bitcoin, including two purchases around New Year's. Both of these, I sent from Coinbase to my own MultiBit wallet. Both transactions are recognized by the network, but remain unconfirmed in my wallet. Their transaction statuses are still unknown. Considering how the value of Bitcoin has increased precipitously (and I'm rather broke), I'd love to have this matter resolved once and for all.

Here is the Blockchain link for the transaction I sent on 29 December 2016. This is what shows up on Blockcypher.

Some screenshots that may help are here. One or two things seem off but I'm not in a position to make educated inferences.

Any and all help is tremendously appreciated!
