When i tried to use the bump fee option there was always an error. The support dont answered my e-mails. Now i see in the settings
nLockTime "nLockTime transactions allow you to redeem your deposited funds without GreenAddress' signature after pre-defined number of blocks"
"Allow redeeming funds without GreenAddress' signature after 12960 blocks
approximately 90 days: 1 day ≈ 144 blocks)"
Did this mean that I get the coins back after 90 days or what did this mean?
If i understand the concept correctly, this page (
https://greenaddress.it/nl/faq.html) say the following:
What are "nLocktime"/recovery transactions?
We use a feature of Bitcoin called nLocktime which creates transactions that can only be spent and confirmed by the network after a specific period of time. When you receive coins into your wallet, we create one of these transactions and sign them to be sent to an address controlled only by your mnemonics. We then encrypt and email this transaction to you.
If the service becomes unavailable, you simply wait until the specified period (90 days by default), then sign and send the transaction using our open source recovery tool "Gentle" (available here or on GitHub).
At the end of the specified period, our wallet software will prompt you to "re-deposit" the coins by sending them to yourself. This creates a new nLocktime transaction for you, while re-protecting the coins by once again requiring a GreenAddress signature to spend them. In this way you can take advantage of instant transactions from 2of2 accounts, while always being sure you can retrieve your funds if the service is off-line.
So, as far as i understand the process, when you deposited funds to your greenaddress, they should have created an unsigned transaction with a locktime, and provided a tool on github to sign the transaction yourself. If they ever go down, you can broadcast this signed transaction (after the block indicated in the locktime has been mined) and this transaction would use the input to your wallet to create an output to a wallet/address generated by your mnemonic, so you can potentially recover your funds if they disappear.
I don't think this has something to do with your transaction. The locktime of our transaction is 453053, and the latest mined block at the time of writing is 454465, so this transaction could potentially go into a block, if the fee wasn't this low.
But indeed, like talkbitcoin mentioned, the sequence != 4294967295, so RBF should be possible, if greenwallet would fix their gui.
