Howdy One and All,

Question please, is there a process where a particular thread created by User A can be transferred to User B?

By that I mean, if a product that the thread centered on (created by User A) was sold to another party, can that
entire thread (which directly relates to that product) be transferred to the new owner of that product, who is User B?

I imagine it will require consent from both parties but assuming that condition is met, can this situation occur?

Thanks in advance.

If the thread is not self - moderated, what difference would it make? As Jet Cash says, start a new thread and link the old one to it. You could ask the previous owner to lock his thread.

Would it not be easier, and more responsible, to close the thread. You could then start a new thread and link it to the original thread. I believe that this could attract more interest, and enhance the reputation of the project.

It has been done before in certain cases. Contact theymos and cyrus about it.

Thank you for your reply, I will take that approach.
