Just a friendly note... unless you did that on an offline machine, and used a public key to create a watching-only address... you should consider that private key "compromised", as it has been "typed" into an online computer that could contain keyloggers, clipboard scanners, screen grabbers etc.

Having your private keys "exposed" carries risk... so please make sure you take steps to protect your coins going forward.

They'll show up after you install and sync Bitcoin Core... As long as a block explorer (like www.blockchain.info) shows that the address has the coins, they're safe.

Alternatively, if you need access to the coins in a hurry, you can always export the private key for that address from Armory and import it into a different wallet.

Hi,

i accidently (yes, reading docs whould be a great idea) installed armory on my computer, without bitcoin core and transferred coins to the adress which armory generated as receive adress. are these coins lost, or do i receive them after bitcoin has synced ?
