The trend in altcoins can be followed by reading the coin graph on the market and this can give a clue on the potentials of the coin. However, an extensive research into the coin and its project will reveal greater level of information about the potentials of the project.

Recommending the results of research that is really not much to be used as a place to be able to appreciate the recent crypto, the investment cannot be made to be an appreciation that does not prioritize other people's crypto

as good as if you invest long it's better to just choose bitcoin. altcoin is indeed able to invest but the altcoin price is more volatile than bitcoin.
if you want to trade short-term, choose altcoin because it's easy to find profits in altcoins.

Agree, if we want to invest for the long term, I think bitcoin is the right choice. There may be some good altcoins for the long term but we should choose those in the top 10 coinmarketcaps

Goof afternoon everyone. I am rather new to crypto industry, so pretty often just choosing the most popular alts to invest and don't use other instruments. As for you, what can you guys recommend besides just buying and holding? Probably any of you trade and aware of good guides that can help to get into it faster? Or probably you mine, so you can recommend good equipment to have a look at? Anyway, interested in your experience. Thanks!

Trading can be an option to double our money but I think trading is very risky. Hold for the long term in the cryptocurrency market because we know that projects need time to produce good products and every altcoin must need a good product so investors are interested in buying

It is evidenced you are ready to explore and that is good but do not be completely driven by just making money otherwise you might fall for some unscrupulous games. What I want to say is that, just take time to learn more, especially for trading before you think of going into it.

The only trend I see right now is almost all altcoins getting crushed by BTC. And that includes the top 10 coins too. Of course this may change, and I hope it does, but it's not like anyone can spot a definite trend that would be a positive sign for investing into any alts. I guess if BTC declines, Alts start to rise, then it may be time to consider jumping on -- but as to which alt... I'm not sure there is a trend to spot besides avoid the truly junk coins.

I don't see any altcoin trends today while the altcoin prices on the market are still stable at fixed prices and maybe only a few are moving up but not for long, I think only bitcoin has a trading volume increasing every day. my advice, you can invest with bitcoin right now.

I don't think there is any trend though, it's all about you going for what you want. Some only prefer trading and others don't, while some prefer only mining at the same time there are others who go for both. So the question is, what do you want? When you choose go learn everything about it before starting

OP, some of my friends are following your strategy but they are getting a big loss as the result of bought major crypto when it has reached the peak price. Whatever kind of coin but the posititon should be the main consideration and let's take a look at bittorrent and it's a very popular coin but the price is still decreasing a lot time to the time. I can say that depends on the pattern.
Major doesn't give you guarantee you will be so difficult to lost your money both small and big coins have the same risk.

At this point there is really no answer that could satisfy people who want to get into altcoins.

At the same time, with respect to bitcoins, if you want to get in, yeah it is definitely a good time, anytime is a good time, there is no reason to not buy bitcoin at any price at all, if you have purchased from 20 thousand dollars even that was a good time, because getting into bitcoin is more important than actually buying bitcoin since if you get into it only once you will be hard to not get back in and do more stuff and eventually profit.

However, if you are afraid and don't really want to but see people profiting and want to do the same than you are going to just miss the fact that for every 1 person you see profiting there is at least 10 losing money as well, a fool and his money soon parted works here too.

Firstly, when l was new to crypto industry, l tried to learn about it and in my opinion it is very important before start. l would like to advice you get some information about it. If you feel alright then start trading. Earlier it can be hard for you, but believe me it will get easy and trade best altcoins, such as ETH or top altcoins. Good Luck on this way.

There is nothing to worry about it, you will learn day by day. l can not suggest another way besides buying and holding but l would tell you the following. When you really want to invest you must choose top altcoins and when you want to learn research only yourself. Because there are a lot of people, they can lie to you about experiences of them or etc.

I think choosing popular coins like bitcoin and ethereum is enough as a long-term investment. But if you want to get profit quickly, you can trade but you have to have good trading skills

I am sure by choosing bitcoin and ethereum will give us a chance to make a big profit in a long-term investment. But in a short time, I think we can try to trade bitcoin pair altcoin because it seems, some of the altcoins have already moved to the higher price so you can make a profit. I think you don't have to think to make a quick profit if you cannot do that, but try to make a stable profit from the various coin and still trying to search the other coin in the market so you can make a bigger profit.

Invest in those coins who have already made reputation like those coins who are always on the top 20 of coinmarketcap. If you are planning to trade then those coins are surely in circulation which contributes on the price movement.

Well, most popular criteria you see is still as a result of that instrument, most projects that you see many investors or users hype is probably because they are good indeed and because they have working product, I know we have many people on this forum that are good at shilling coins, but that does not make them popular, imagine that I am to advice people to invest in altcoins, I would advise them to invest in projects that are among the top 20 coins in the market, and if you look at these coins, they are some of the most popular coins that we have, and some of the best projects that really has a use case.

For you to even trade any coin, it still has to be based on popularity, because it is their popularity that will bring about the volume needed for the trade to be successful too, so I don’t think there is still much bad thing to use popularity of the project to invest or trade.

Trading is currently the trending activity in the crypto ecosystem now. You can join this current trend by buying a particular crypto coin and selling them within a specific time interval. To join the trading ecosystem, you need to first understand and know the basic precautions needed and developing strategic plans to minimize your risk of losing your funds.

One thing you should understand is, whether trading or mining, you need to understand what each is all about, that is depending on the one you want. Some trade and make profit while others don't, it's all about what you know etc. So I will advice you to make up your mind which you want and go learn all there is to know. If you want to do both, then go prepare your mind, because it will worth it.

It was still unpredictable to watch right now, and what's important these days is we should be able to buy a good coins that will be worth selling once it reached profitable value. Be careful of your choice, it's not a raffle of chances but you need to determine based on how it's been active on certain community.

it all depends on how much money you have to invest. if you are a millionaire you can buy a lot of good coins with passive income

But that passive income is only possible if the project is really good and has very strong foundation. Most projects promising passive income has good trading activity in the first couple of months but later on the enthusiasm of traders die down so at that point, you are not sure anymore with your passive income as the value is likely to go down as well.

I am not going to recommend mining.  Better you start investing in some good coin but don't invest all of your money. First, invest a little percentage of your money get familiar with the market.  It's not about good or bad coin it's about making money with any coin. and that you have to try.

If you a newbie, better strategy for you is holding. Maybe you can try to participate in good IEOs or just you can earn some crypto on bounty and airdrops, it will help you to understand how to choose the right projects and how to start better understand them.

Holding can be a solution for new people who wants to involve in cryptocurrency, but that will works perfect if they can hold the right coins like bitcoin and the other altcoin. I won't suggest participating in IEO as we don't know their project enough than the previous projects. Besides that, we cannot expect their project can get success in the market later. But if he wants to earn free rewards from the project, then bounty and airdrops can help him, but that is not guaranteed to make a profit in the future. He needs to select the right projects so he can earn nice rewards and make a good profit.

Or probably you mine, so you can recommend good equipment to have a look at? Anyway, interested in your experience. Thanks!
If you a newbie, better strategy for you is holding. Maybe you can try to participate in good IEOs or just you can earn some crypto on bounty and airdrops, it will help you to understand how to choose the right projects and how to start better understand them.

You are new in this in cryptoworld my friend maybe you just focus on holding coin and buying token that you may think has the potential to grow like ethereum and any other alts  instead of trading in the market but if you want to take a risk then go.

yes sometimes new coins have a high selling value and some are not valuable. New coins are worthless for a number of reasons, including teams, don't care about their road maps. If you want to invest in altcoins, invest in popular altcoins and have many users, it is important for you to research again in every decision you will make.

I advice you first to visit Coinmarketcap (CMC) and take a look on the price trend of alts out there (you could look on btc too) and analyze whether is it really good or bad idea to invest into it. Whether it is a Yes or a No, there's nothing wrong with it because it's your own decision and you are the one mostly knows what is good for you Smiley. When your final decision is to pursue trading then I advice you to go here, Google is present as always you can use it too. Also, avoid crypto related groups on FB as much as possible because you can't find anything there but posts of referrals Grin. Good luck.

there are many ways that you can use as a means to find information about the current trends in crypto currencies, that you can find in various video tutorials, and many articles on the website.

I don't think there are trends today, starting from trading, investing, until the bounty is quiet because the altcoin prices haven't gone up yet. so in my opinion if you are new and want to start the crypto industry, start from the bounty to learn crypto as a whole starting from the market, technology, to crypto projects.

yes I agree with your statement, it is highly recommended for beginners not to immediately jump into the field of trade because it can be at high risk if you do not have sufficient knowledge in trading. and if you want to start in a gift project you need to spend time researching before joining the project

what about investing in the IEO, I see there are many good projects currently doing the IEO. this is better than trading or holding altcoins. when the lve trade is opened, usually the price of the token rises. I saw a number of yesterday's IEO projects can make a profit. so maybe this is worth trying.
It's good when it comes to the trusted platform like binance and kucoin. But OP must educate himself before he can try to invest in the IEO dude. He must know more about that and it looks like he is not even trader expert too.
It's too early to invest in IEO for him.

Investing on the popular altcoins based on the prices is not the best strategy though but its still can be used to make profits through money management.

Mining the altcoins can be good if you are very long term investor and ready to invest from your pocket to cover the expenses of miner when the prices are too low.

You are trying to ask someone to educate you, I think good traders will not spend time on you, Im sorry for this words, but you really need a lot of expirience and need learn some books
Some experts have created a lot of articles in medium and that's worth to be watched by OP. Not all of good traders are very busy but when they are getting trapped and they will spend the free time to search or try to educate another person.

The trends with altcoins right now it not good, they are still not pumping but it doesn’t mean that you can earn with the current trend. My good advice is to keep learning, i suggest to watch many youtube tutorial because I also start on that way before and it works. Don’t buy shitcoins, don’t trade if you’re doubt and never to trust any investment offer for easy money.

The volatility price of cryptocurrencies will make you give up when you bought it without any knowledge of them. Trading, investing and holding always have the risk itself, when choose trading to store your money but you didn't know the strategy you will be lost just in a few hours, your money will go down when you choose investing before you know it, as far as I know bitcoin and altcoins prices can goes up drastically and goes down dratically too even I ever seen the price goes up almost $1000 in an hours and the price when down back at that time.

Also if you choose holding to store your money but you didn't know the target point you will be lose also, have you know bitcoin price was increasing from $900 at the beginning of 2017 ago and touch $20.000 at the end of that year but when 2018 came the price of bitcoin continue to down and touch all time low at the price $3500 in December 2018 ago. So, I only give a suggestion you can choose one of the three strategies and learn more about it. Don't see the profit that has been obtained by others, you will achieve the profit you want when you really understand the strategy in depth.

Mining is not profitable at the moment, so there are two other ways of getting altcoins. First of all, you can trade, but before you start, invest some time in learning how to do it right, otherwise, you will stay with empty pockets. Secondly, try to take part in bounty programmes, if you do not have enough budget to start trading.

The trading is really good if you have good knowledge of technical analysis. The first of all you have to learn about technical analysis before you start trading. The next thing is fundamental analysis. That means you have to keep in touch with which coin you trade like future updates.

I never trade or mine. but I know about both. in trading you need to look at market segments and need to choose crypto with good development for a fairly stable price, for example for altc is ETH, DOGE or BNB. so that when you want to sell coins you will benefit. and according to what I read in the mining process you need to have a lot of funds to be able to open and use equipment in mining. both trade and mining both require substantial capital, but mining more capital because of the need to use expensive equipment.

As others have stated, probably best for you to do your own research. It's not like there is an automatic 'get rich trading' guide out there. You could look into bounties and airdrops if you want -- but even there, most of the time they don't pay out much.

so far the one I like the most is bounty, because it doesn't really require a lot of knowledge, as long as we want to be diligent, everything will be smooth,
different from trading and mining, if you do not have sufficient knowledge it will only cause losses not profits,
my advice to you, you can try to know bounty or just hold assets.

Trading and investing still become the most frequent trends to be done at this time. However, there are several different ways for trading, by arbitrating or other ways in order to earn higher profits. Of course, we need a special strategy in order to gain more profits. Moreover, the investment in some certain coins should be also careful in order to ensure that the coins will not be dead coins. Probably, we can also do staking.

To learn about trade needs the time and you can't do that instantly, majority of people are suggesting buy crypto instead of trying to trade it consider as a newbie and a trade will bring this newbie to the big risk compared try to buy and hold it dude.

For mining, you must expect that the capital needed is quite high and this should be a continuous process to gain more tokens/coins that you are mining. And your profitability depends on the coin that you mine, sadly it's just a plan for me right now because I can't bear the expense through electricity although I have the capacity to produce a capital.
With trading, you should have a strong feeling and emotion, this isn't for the fainted heart. You can start with small capital and grow it in time, mostly you'll learn things base on your experience.

Of course, there is the option to trade your alts for short term. However, if you are just a beginning, it's not advisable though, you need to learn some tricks first before getting your hands dirty in the world of trading. Or you can used just small capital to start your trading and see how it goes for you. Their is no faster way, everyone needs to go through the needle and learn everything from experience. And if you heard someone claiming that they make x amount of money on x amount of days/months/years, be skeptics about those claim because it's not as easy as it sound. Equipment? meaning apps like trading bots? not recommended for beginners as well, gain experience first and then slowly upgrade your trading activity by using bots.

Are you looking or some altcoins that have good trend and hype today to invest? If you are new here, it is better to analyze some top coins (as in 20 top coin market cap). Never only follow the trend that is happening right now. It may be so risky for you. Additionally, there are actually many good altcoins that will bring you more profits if you know the right time to buy and sell or hold.
Try to choose some coins such as XZC, NEM, XRP, BNB, and also ETH of course.
