Almost all free acceleration services other than viabtc tx accelerator are fake and even the one which ask for few $ to acclerate your transaction are also there to scam you.
There are many sites poped up recently with the name of accelerator but all of them share same script as well as none of them will work from my personal experience.

I've tried numerous free transaction accelerators in the past because of desperately needing to confirm certain transactions. The one single accelerator that actually helped is only ViaBTC's accelerator[1]. Pretty hard to get in to it though as a lot of people are using it, effectively flooding their website; sometimes even crashing it.

Viabtc works for the people who tried to accelerate every first 100 members using the accelerate tool. Other than this you will find the antpool accelerator which is used for the same use and many of the users reported this also works better like viabtc.
You cannot able to use the acceleration tool use successfully means send that to people who is dedicatedly working for it services section.
some of this services ask you some tip for accelerate transaction. Never tip before your transaction has at least 1 confirmed.

Only reason to do it for free is to get more people on their site for the other services and other things that they offer. Also if the company / website has some ads on their site, it could be profitable for them to get a massive influx of traffic for something that doesn't cost them anything to do anyway -- as they already run a pool.

A lot of the services which are posted in the service section and offer it for free are actually using free services available to everyone. It's likely for reputation/trust farming. As well as an easy way to rank up their accounts by posting in that thread. It's been suggested by a few people that it's the same person with multiple accounts posting those threads.
Is it really has place to be such a big problem with transactions speed that "Servises" section is full of accelerations suggestions? And why would some one do it for free?
