Most of the members has put their view on the hardware wallets. Let me put on mine. Been a user of Ledger for more than half a year. Hardware wallet has an important advantage over hot/web wallet, even if the wallet is lost/broken we can restore our money by our seed phrase.

Ledger supports a huge amount of coins/tokens when compared to Trezor and a trezor wallet is been made up of plastic whereas a Ledger is made up of steel which increases its support for good quality. Ledger on the other hand uses the 4pin setup which further increases its security.
According to a user above after the release of 1.4.1 there has been too less possibilities of down time or software being slow for accepting too much of currencies. Since a 4 pin setup is done by you, a hacker must know the pin to send crypto from one wallet to another.

When you are ordering a wallet, the wallet is taped so that when it is altered, you can contact the support team so that you will not be phished. Ledger has a important addon such that they can be setup without being plugged to a computer which even increases your privacy further.

You're wrong with number which is available for the pin,it can be minimum 4,but even in previous version of Ledger firmware user can set up to 8 digits.I think that number of 4 digits is quite enough because after 3 wrong pin device will reset and wipe out everything on the device. However 8 digits are extra security for users, even though it is a small probability that someone will guess 4 number in 3 attempts-it is even less probability to someone guess 8 digit password.

There is no seal on the ledger nano s, for example.
Those have a built-in function to verify the authenticity of the nano s. For hardware modifications they have a guide published to open the case and check everything.

Ledger has a important addon such that they can be setup without being plugged to a computer which even increases your privacy further.

Thats semi-correct.
While its true that you don't have to connect the nano s to a computer, you still have to connect it (at least the pins for electricity) to a power source (e.g. pc).
But it doesn't even matter whether you connect it to a computer or not since the seed generation is completely done on the device. No attack vector here.

I have owned Ledger Nano S and had huge problems with increasing load times of their wallet. They should focus more on improving their infrastructure rather than on starting supporting more coins which will only cause overload of their servers. How does it work now? Did they improve their service? Also, Ledger doesn't release any updates for their Ledger Blue which was lately discontinued. What about these customers? Their wallet doesn't support as many cryptocurrencies as Ledger Nano S.

With a new firmware 1.4.1 user now can have up to 18 apps/wallets on device which is significant improvement, but we still need to use Ledger Bitcon App in Chrome and close one wallet to open new one.Ledger announced that is working on desktop&mobile wallet which will make things much simpler for users. After firmware update I test few wallets and it is working very fast for me,need just few seconds to close/open new wallet.

I'm not familiar how are things going regarding Ledger Blue, did you try contact their support?

I red in other post the differences between Trezor and Ledger but none of those ask to my question. Which is the most safe?? Thanks to everyone
Trezor and Ledger both are hardware wallet. But more peoples are buying ledger wallet this is the only difference in these two wallets. But both are supporting in similar coins and this is more secured in any other wallet. The only cons are price is little high so some peoples avoid these kind of hardware wallet.

Oh thank you, this is the answer that i'm looking for, thank you again

Both trezor and ledger safe wallet if only if the owner didn't expose his or her code/keys but I prefer trezor because ledger usually have USB cable problem.

The biggest difference is Ledger has TONS of cryptocurrencies added in there, which in my opinion is an huge mistake. The more support you add in your hardware wallet, the more surface attacks that are brought with this increase of support for a bunch of tokens.

I would honestly stick to Trezor if I had to choose, and if you are into altcoins big time and care about them long term, then get a Ledger too and use it for altcoins, while you store the serious coins in Trezor.

Ideally, I would love a hardware wallet with Bitcoin support only that's extremely simple and robust.

What you see as mistake or deficiency for me it is completely the opposite.I do not see that because Ledger support much more coins means that it is somewhat insecure in some way.Maybe it is more interesting to hackers, but I doubt that Trezor has a bit more security just because support less coins.

Number of supported coins and price is something what's on the side of Ledger, and when they they finally launch desktop&mobile wallet it will be one more positive factor to even greater popularity.

On the other side I would not have anything against hardware wallet that support only BTC,but I think that this product would not be profitable for the manufacturer from a simple reason, why to buy hardware wallet that support only BTC and not other which suport 10,20 or more coins-especially if price is similar.I know you will say because surface attack, but for most users it is quite irrelevant.
Ledger supports a lot of alts, so if you want to store several alts on the same hardware wallet, it's possible with it, Trezor can store less alts, but still managable. (OK, I know that technically the coins are not stored on the device itself, it only stores the private keys to be able to transact with the coins...)
So if the number of supported altcoins makes the difference, Ledger is better (and cheaper). However, Ledger only allows you to manage only a few of the alts at the same time, but this is also managable via the Ledger app (Chrome extension). I don't know about major differences in case of security, both hardware wallets are secure enough for everyday use.

Ledger is, for me, easy to use. A bit confusing for the first minutes using it but it's because their instructions are not efficiently listed. Can't comment about Trezor because I don't own any but I am planning to add it to my list for the next Christmas gifts list :p

Ledger was founded in 2015 in France. The company has since gained substantial traction in the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency sphere and has grown to be a worthy competitor to SatoshiLabs (the creators of TREZOR).
TREZOR, on the other hand, has been on TREZOR on the other hand recently announced that they have partnered with MyEtherWallet to support Ethereum on their device as well. Other currencies supported through TREZOR are Dash, Zcash and Litecoin (via Electrum LTC market since 2014.

Would you mind posting the source when you're commenting using the content from someone else?

It's so boring to read people here when they are just stealing some folks on the web.

I see someone shared the history of the hardware. It is really fund to read that. Option is with you itself. You can choose anything you want. If you really worry about hacking attack you can use any one you want.
Since the Trezor having the digital on the front of the hardware, you can able to see the display and consider as secured one. This is also my personal assumption not in reviews from all.

I think both are very secure, but the difference of which is more secure is probably unnecessarily small in my opinion. As long as you're the one who's physically in control of the hardware wallet then you're pretty fine. The significant factor on your hardware wallet's safety is a lot more on how you store your recovery seed.
