Paper wallets are great, but only until you need to spend them. Then you need to do the complicated offline transaction signing with dedicated laptop to get the same security as Trezor offers.

But I preffer KeepKey, basically the same as Trezor, but much cooler design in my opinion.

I think this is a good thing as where we know that security is a top priority for the BTC users now and I believe this is the method BTC is safest to keep your long-term with the piece of mind that they are in proper safety.
Maybe this would be a good promotion for them to add their customers basic bit bigger now .

$0.001 for a piece of paper is much cheaper and I can make infinite paper wallets that will never fail. Want better security? Hide them really well, encrypt them, keep them somewhere only you ever can/will go. Paper wallets are just so easy and cheap compared to $99.

It is these DIY methods that worry me the most, because it is not necessarily the best option to secure the coins. Trezor has a very impressive track record and I have not heard of one hacked Trezor,

since they have been around. There are good security solutions like this out there, but it is expensive for some people with a low budget. I would have liked to see some device with a $20 to $30 price

tag, with the same security as the Trezor. Roll Eyes

I think this will be a good promotion for them to add to their rather larger customer base now. Grin

Security is top priority for bitcoin users now and I believe this is the most secure method to store your bitcoins for long term with a piece of mind that they are in a safe place.

Yeah, Trezor seems to be running with this hack thing, I have seen the word Trezor too many times today

Guess they are advertising whike the fire is Hot.

Decent article, but mostly promotes Trezor (or at least a hardware wallet solution). TLDR: cold storage is win, hot storage is a necessary evil for the sake of usability, and buy a Trezor™.
