Hi all,
Has anybody tried Discord coin pumping groups? Is it profitable? I have looked at the below one- they have more than 10.000 members, so I think they can affect the market quite a lot ?

So look at this one, and let me know your opinions: https://discord.gg/q3N9795
I have experience joining in such group just to see whether I can really make profit by going with their plans and signals but I think its not wise to rely with what they are saying.

You should be fast and alert coz if you missed the timing you will be left out and gain nothing. Its better to avoid joining in such group and do the analysis with your own research and understanding.

The first time you earn, the second time you earn, maybe even the third time, too, earn, but on the fourth you will take everything. Do not participate in such groups, if you do not want to lose everything.
They call people to themselves, that they could rob them. As already said here "always wins the casino"

Pump and dump is now being tracked by Bittrex and considered it illegal. The people who created the group are the only people benefit it 100%. The rest are just robots and is only awaiting for their luck. The last ones gets rekt on top and cry.

Kindly avoid this group because I'm telling you will loss your money instantly if you follow their call because once you ride their call that's the time that will take profit. So please be careful because you will not get your money back here once you loss it.

I would not advise you to use such groups, my friend was sitting in such a group and lost a lot of money there, now he trades himself and earns well on that.

conclusion - these groups are crooks

Sometimes the dumps do make good publicity of a particular token. But they do lose more than again.

I guess pump and dump can be easily be manipulated for commercial or marketing purposes, but it is costly and it won´t make the coin any better in business terms.

Bah, pump and dumps are not based on user numbers per se, you´d need at least 10 bitcoin in there if you want to move an even half serious coin. For the rest, people are too aware of the problem.

It is mistake. Don't try it. I tried once to find out how it works and it was bad experience for me. It is a pure gamble for you as a regular member of the group. The overall increase in price always looks inviting but you will rarely catch it in the beginning and even less probably jump out at the top. Only admins make money. We're on the losing side.

I think every body can make such kind of group that can invite people and scam them.
However, stay away from anykind of pump and dump group is the best thing to do now. Do own research is much more better

For shits and giggles tried once on Coinexchange.io, I just but some BTC into a CybCSec that people were calling out in "Trolbox". Made some good money  Smiley. Later tried again with other coins that got called out and lost most of my money Grin. To be honest, I was always in a position to walk away with some profit from shitcoins that were being pumped, but greed got the best of me... Grin. Not feeling bad or anything for the lost money, just sharing my story.

Taking the risk of pump is not worth for me because the chance of being successful is too low. I never perefer to join a pump.

Just so you know technically P&D groups are illegal. Whilst I doubt anyone in crypto has been prosecuted yet, this could change and they may retroactively look for ring-leaders in these groups. It's honestly not fair for investors when the price is manipulated by secret groups.

Why is it illegal? I think they are doing the same like whales in crypto market do, or like big banks in forex market do (like Soros manipulated GBP in 1992..). The members are just too small to move the market so they join together to became whale. If market manipulation is illegal, then all the big investors or banks are in the jail Smiley

When I was just starting with cryptocurrencies I tried this "strategy" one time. I joined pump&dump group in Telegram and at the end of the day I lost nearly half of all my money (thanks god I didn't have much). The only people who can make profits on such an activity are administrators of these groups, because you will be the one who buys shitcoins from them for 2-5x price.

I dont really trust up any of those pump and dump groups no matter how big community they are 10k members doesnt signify that all of them are investors or do tend to buy a certain coin once signals being given.I do believe that most of them are just pure speculator not all are tending to join those signals. Even myself dont trust those things because most of them are just using you up on making profit.

I personally do not like pump and dump groups. I think it doesn't do good for the whole crypto space. It just shows that people are interested in crypto only because of money and dont care about the tech and what crypto would be able to change.

I tried once with little money and I ended up trying to damage because the action of dumping occurs very fast and if the user does not have an automated bot it ends up wasting the time of sale and purchase.

Dude, Everyone seems to want to create a pump & dump group in this forum, is almost as popular as criticising altcoins or telling people to HODL. I have never joined a group but I trade occasionally an the pumps are easy to spot.

Why should give the bump or dump for the thread or concern coin project in the forum. I am not sure that is advisable to do for the any project. Personally if we feel the project is potential according to the  project details you have check with the knowledge. You can give post at there but the unnecessary bumps are not at all accepted by the forum moderators.
If this belongs different I have mentioned you can share how it works, so I could know about better.

All these groups are one continuous divorce for your money !!! I participated in one such group, I earned two times, then I lost everything. In such groups there is no agreement between the participants, who came first, he take profit. And the first is always the admin of the group!

Well said Olena - it's a case of the house always wins. It's Ponzi-grade sketchiness at its finest. The kind of stuff that blackens crypto's name to be honest - so I personally keep well away and stick to investing in projects I believe in, and think deserve support.
