Go to https://blockchain.info/ and paste the BTC address at the top of the page where it says:

Search
You may enter a block height, address, block hash, transaction hash, hash160, or ipv4 address...

That will show if it's been sent to your address or not.

It sounds like you need to sync, otherwise there's an issue with 5dimes and you should contact their support.

Good Luck!

Check the withdrawals page to see if you pasted the address correctly. Check if the funds are there on a block explorer.

Are you fully synced yet? If you are not synced, you will need to wait for Bitcoin Core to finish syncing, and that can take a long time because it must download all 60+ Gb of the blockchain and verify it all. Once you are synced, you will see your Bitcoin.

Hi all  Grin

Last week I installed Bitcoin Core as I was trying to cash out money from a betting website (5dimes).
This website asked for a BitCoin Address. I went to the Bitcoin Core programme, and clicked Receiving Adresses in the File dropdown menu. I copied this 34 character address and filled in it on the betting website. The money has been substracted from my account, but I cannot find it now Sad

What did I do wrong, and what do I have to do to find my bitcoins?

Best regards from a new bitcoin user  Cheesy
