I'm so fed up. This isn't right. I know there is a lot going on. But I signed up, finally got what looked like approved for my identification and then later signed up for gdax and all of a sudden buys became disabled on coinbase. I never even used it. So I open a ticket and it's been almost 2 weeks. I've updated the ticket many times within the ticket system too. Nothing! I mean that is how you treat a new customer. I mean seriously. This isn't worth it.to me. I'll find a way to continue being involved in cryptopcurrency without them. The sucky part is I really wanted to use gdax but I guess that isn't happening. I got so fed, I completely closed down my account today at coinbase. I don't need them, this is crazy.
I think you need to be patient for a while because the new customer is not just you and I am sure that coinbase will reply your ticket. and if you are not satisfied with their service, then you can use localbitcoin to buy bitcoin. I am sure that in localbitcoin you can found many good sellers that will help you and the best is you can find sellers that might be near in your house so you can visit him and talk about many things and this will reduce the chance for you to getting scam.
