I recently took a trip to a remote beach in the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica. I barely received a signal on my US phone. I knew calls are expensive, so I never used my phone for voice calls, but data was free (From T-mobile no less). Not enough bandwidth for anything. Not downloading emails, no netflix.. nothing. I did make a BTC transaction using a ledger and Ledger Live app. (on OSX). All other tech didn't work, but the ledger transaction went through. It took about 3 minutes to get transaction info, but it worked.

My take away from this is that even in remote areas with poor cell coverage, crypto is still viable.

Very cool for us believers.
